They made us feel as if we were visiting friends, not just renting an apartment. We got invited to a family dinner, Debbie cooked for us and she shared with us the best Octopus Curry recipe that we regularly cook at home

The two bathrooms are really useful especially when you have children to speed up shower time after a day at beach. The house is really super clean and provided with WiFi, television, air-conditioning

Lovely stay, The villa is perfect, spacious and had everything we needed. Hosts Roddy & Debbie were absolutely amazing. They even cooked traditional meals for us on the last night of our holiday. Will definitely return

Our experience at Grace self catering has been superlative! The house with two large double bedrooms, a very large dining room with kitchen, sofa and a living terrace with ocean view has space enough for all needs

We would definitely stay here and recommend it to other travellers. It's particularly ideal if you need a stop over on the way to the other islands, it definitely takes the stress out of rushing to catch the boat

I will recommend Grace Self Catering to all my friend. I always feel that small business in Seychelles should be promoting on the same level as the 5 star hotel. For me Grace Self-Catering is a 5 Star

Excellent location, beachfront and just a few kilometers from the most beautiful beaches in southern Mahé. Spacious and comfortable house, lovely patio, and beautiful new bathroom

Everything was good, the yard was gorgeous and well-kept, upon departure the hosts were extremely kind and let us stay after check-in until the evening when we left for the airport without paying anything extra

Nice smart TV in the living room, where we enjoyed our favorite TV channels in the evenings. Large surrounding garden and parking space in the courtyard. Daily room cleaning and tidying

The closest beach is 6min drive, through a hotel. Overall the south East of Mahe is best for beaches, nature. wi-fi is weak, internet speed is very slow, and even basic browsing barely works:(

Not crowded beautiful beaches with white fine sand, blue water and gorgeous palms, sometimes calm water sometimes with big waves, it depends on the weather

We spent a week on Mahe and we are very glad we decided to book “Hillside Retreat”. ❤️ Location: 👌 We visited all the island ✔️ and checked every spot and in my opinion this side of the island is the most beautiful

There are four very cute dogs, they like to be petted:) The hotel is located next to a bus stop, so you can get to any part of the island. It was a wonderful stay! Next time we will definitely stay here again!

Stayed for 1 week on a business trip, initially I was disappointed there wasn’t a pool but truly the way this little hotel is so thoughtfully managed with care made up for it

Very clean, comfortable, short walk (but steep) to centre of Victoria and excellent internet, although shower pressure and temperature sometimes too low. Food options limited, but had an excellent fish curry.

For those who rent cars, there is convenient parking in the courtyard. The hotel even owns several giant tortoises, so these who wish to see these animals need not to go to other places if they want to see it

Great place for a quick stay. Ideally located mid point to everything around Mahé. Great views from the balcony. The staff so welcoming and helpful especially Su and the team.

The view is amazing from the upper balcony. It's a good cardio exercise the walk to and from town. Good value for money.

We very much enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony, from where we could observe multiple wild birds and animals. The accommodation is situated in a lovely garden with different kinds of trees, flowers and birds

Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning and in the evening was so relaxing,the pool is perfect place to cool off amongst the greenery. The hosts were warm, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome

If you need a good clean place with lots of beds - this is fine for you. I reccomend that the staff be incentivized to smile and go the extra mile. They didn't look enthusiastic about their jobs

The kitchen serves basic meals - we brought our own food , but would not have eaten our meals there because it didn't look super appetizing. So if you want luxury this is not the place

The only thing that could see some improvement in my opinion is the kitchenette. A gas stove or induction plate would be a superb upgrade. For some people, it should be noted, that there is quite a walk to the beach

The hotel is located a bit uphill, and you pass through jungle on the way to the beach. The room was spacious and clean. It had its own kitchen and living room. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help.

There is a small local beach, but it is not as nice as the main one in Beau Vallon and it is not extremely close either. That said, we had no problem walking every day and using the bus

The Forest Lodge is a very welcoming establishment. The rooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and have a splendid terrace overlooking the forest. It's just a few kilometers from the beautiful Beau Vallon beach

We were even lucky enough to have been offered a dinner, which was absolutely fantastic. As mentioned, we were very happy with the ambient and the abundance of space in the room/studio

The facility is well secured with air conditioning, constant water supply and even a little swimming pool. THE apartments are self catering so you buy your own groceries

This is a great place to stay while in the Seychelles, only 200M from the beach, 8min drive from the airport and about 12min drive to the capital Victoria

Takamaka Green Village is a beautiful resort located a short walk from the lovely Takamaka Beach. The food was exceptional, both the breakfast and the dinner prepared each evening by Abdul, the chef

You will not find a more peaceful relaxing and lovely place to stay. Wonderful Abdul serves delicious breakfasts and dinner in the evening if you want it. You must stay for dinner at least once for the fun atmosphere

A very nice place to stay if you rent a car. Nice surroundings and beaches. Very friendly staff and good service at all time. We recommend this hotel at the best: Clean, happy and beautiful

Food and drinks at the Rockpool Restaurant are tasty, the view is beautiful and I loved the oceanbreeze. Thank you Jessa and particularly Suraj for the service! The hotel is faraway from city bustle

The best part is the hotel’s private beach—romantic, not crowded, and set in a beautiful landscape with a lovely view. The hotel is located just north of Beau Vallon but is very quiet and peaceful

Thank you for that! There is also Wellness & Spa: We had a beautiful and relaxing 45 min. Breakfast at the Barefoot Restaurant was good, the view over the ocean is splendid. The staff was friendly and engaged

We had one Week in a gardenview Room in December 25. So we stayed on the hillside, embedded in a lovely tropical garden with local geckos, snails and flying foxes

The gardeners are doing a great job, thank you Mahfuz for your welcoming smile. Our housekeeper Massad did excellent service and roomcleaning

Lovely surroundings and very friendly and helpful staff. Location is also gorgeous and quiet at night. Only minus is that they never managed to open the pool bar, despite talking very fondly about it all the time

The Beau Vallon beach can be accessed through Le Meridian and is just minutes away. You can also liaise with the owner Cyril and get a car for hire for about 45 Euros. One of the best locations to stay in Seychelles

We booked this stay for our honeymoon, and overall the place itself is absolutely beautiful. The snorkeling and swimming were amazing, and the location truly offers a perfect, peaceful experience

While showing us the room, we noticed other guests using kayaks. He then changed his explanation again, saying for safety reasons they don’t give kayaks, but if we insisted, they could arrange one

When I mentioned my earlier confirmation, he changed his stance, saying kayaking was permanently disallowed but he could show me a fishing spot — in a rather rude and unwelcoming manner

I had the chance to try Jessie's Creole dinner, it was amazing! The guest house is on the main street (and bus stop in front of it), 10 mins walking from the beach

Excellent house, silent location,friendly Jessie. Bars and restaurants by walking 20 min in the evenings. everything in Mahe worth to see is available by car within relativelly short time

I had a really good time there. The beach is around 10 minites walk from the house. Every morning they're cleaning the rooms and changing the bed sheets/ towels

Very clean place and well located near the beach. Breakfast is freshly prepared in the morning, and the host makes you feel home all the time.

I stayed at Jessie's for four nights and she made me feeling at home from the very beginning! The room was super super clean and had everything I needed, the breakfast was delicious

I like that its in the quieter part of Beau Vallon as the central area gets loud and crowded. The beach in front is perfect with the softest sand, big boulders, lots of shade and no crowds

The beach is just fee steps away across the lodge. Our breakfast was set up which had the sea view. The Balcony of the lodge also has a sea view

We stayed here for 2 nights, excellent rooms, the beach is right across, loved the breakfast (fresh juices, fruits, omlettes and pancakes), very comfortable king mattress, spacious rooms with a nice big balcony sitout, the staff and the owner is very sweet and accommodated our every small requests, highly recommend staying here, do make sure to book this well in advance as they have full occupancy...

What a gem! My room was spacious with all the necessities: large firm bed, balcony with sea view, hot shower with great pressure, mini fridge, in room safe, toiletries and a TV

The appartment has an incredible view over the bay and the beach as well the breakfast room which is also with very elegant interior. East as well Westcoast are easy to reach from the ressort

You wake up in the morning by the sound of the breaking waves and all kind of beautiful birds. You get up and get rewarded by a beautiful view of the beach and the tropical mountains

Healthy breakfast with tasty fruits and you're ready for the day. The steep hill to arrive to the hotel looks extreme on the first sight, but after driving the second time through it it feels just like any other road

Everything there was great. Small beach nearby, tasty breakfasts, very clean room, and amazing staff. Also, the bus stop is just a minute walk from the apartments

The small beach at the front is calm with crystal clear water. There is a small shop at the front, take away and nice beaches around. Very close to the airport; which is good

The vacation spent here was extremely successful, once for the area, the layout, but especially for the people who manage the location. I would mention among them Kribia, extremely efficient and empathetic

We liked that the location in Au Cap was away from the hustle and bustle of busy Victoria, but only a 25 minute drive away. When we return to Seychelles, we’ll definitely return to Jamelah Apartments!

We stayed as a couple in a self-catering deluxe unit, and the experience was excellent even better than the pictures suggest

My sister and I had an absolutely wonderful experience attending a yoga class during our trip to Mahé. We weren’t staying at the resort but were welcomed with open arms the moment we arrived…

We did not stay at the property just attended the class but it was nice to do the session here whilst we were staying at kempinski which is about a 15min drive from there

even though we got there a little early! As it turned out, no one else had booked that session, so we were lucky enough to have a private class

Each room has a small balcony with a breathtaking beachfront view and a perfect sunset every evening 🌅. They also have a pool area and a parking space if you are driving, which is very convenient

They communicate clearly about arrival details so everything is ready for guests. The room is gorgeously decorated and instantly puts you in the island mood

We recommend tiramisu, grilled fish and curry dishes. We had Christmas eve there with very good memories. We loved privacy of the hotel and at the same time very good service and nice chats with the personal

I would give Villa Rosia a 10 out of 10. I was recommended this place by a friend very last minute, and I have absolutely no regrets

An absolutely wonderful stay here at Villa Roscia. Such a warm welcome from Nicole and family. We were thrilled with our room with a beautiful sea view. All rooms had access to the terrace overlooking the bay

A wide magnificent view from the terrace, a comfortable clean room with daily housekeeping, filling breakfasts, and a 5 minute walk to the long seashore of Beau Vallon beach.... Such a pleasure to have stayed here!

She'll keep offering you fruits from her garden throughout the day and at night she'll keep you entertained with her amazing tales(Do ask her about the "Beryl Road in Sweden" Story, it's my favourite one)

But believe me when i say it, this place just does not have the name Home in it's name. it literally is a Home away from home. Beryl, the owner is the most amazing person you'll ever meet

Beryl is a fantastic, friendly host, good breakfast, nice house, we had a great time here. Location is also good but you should hire a car.

Grand Anse Super Market is also close to the beach so you don't need to worry about any grocery needs. We got so connected with Beryl that we all had tears in our eyes while leaving the place

she speaks many languages, including excellent italian, she prepares very rich and various breakfast, she has a beautyful garden with all the tropical fruits. The house is cozy and confortable

Each villa is positioned to have a mesmerizing sunset view from your private balcony. Turtle season is from Nov to march, we were so blessed to witness 2 nesting turtles during our stay

Whole resort is placed in big garden full of the beautiful fauna and flora. Sea turtles, land turtles, peacocks are all living next to you, next to your house. I can only recommend breakfast which we have ordered

The place to chill out for your next getaway from the rat race. A tropical garden to rival any in the south, boasting unique flora, not to mention the giant tortoises as well as ever so cute baby ones

You have a direct view on the ocean from the porch - we even saw a sea turtle coming up the beach one morning. The owners and the entire team are lovely and super helpful

A short walk from the villa you have a communal pool which is an ideal size and nice temperature. Then beyond that was a very nice beach which was very private

Stayed at this peace of little haven for one week and I can attest that this self-catering gem was nearly perfect! Extremely clean, wonderfully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and a fantastic location close to the beautiful police bay and Anse intendance beaches
