Remisens Hotel Lucija in Portoroz Airport

We arrived on June 11th for a 3-night stay.
At dinner, we were surprised to find out that water is not included in the half-board option — it’s only included at breakfast… which is ridiculous! If you want water, it’s €2.50.
The tables were messy and the service was disorganized.
It took about 20 minutes to get two cocktails — and we waited the same amount of time just for plain water.

The outdoor pool, located across the street right by the sea (and shown in the photos, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel), was not operational! I don’t understand why not, especially in mid-June. The receptionist simply said: “It’s not open, it will be in 4 days, go to the beach instead!” 😅
Also, the indoor jacuzzi was out of order.

I paid for a sea view room, but there was hardly any view of the sea.
We arrived by car — the garage was supposed to be €20 per day, but we ended up being charged more and still don’t know why or how… 😅

On the positive side: the room was good, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was really delicious. Dinner, on the other hand, was not very varied, but acceptable for a 3-star hotel.

Unfortunately, the experience was a disappointment.

Location is great, the staff is helpful. But: the room was quite dirty, especially the bathroom with dark spots in the toilet, water spots on the mirror, washbin, shower door and faucets. Faul smell especially in the bathroom, but also in the room. A "room with balcony and seaside view" offers a grand view of hotel Metropol and a tiny view of sea in the left corner.
Very dissapointing for the price paid...
