Philstay Myeongdong Station in Seoul

This accommodation is strategically located near Myeondong Station Exit 8 and a busway stop within walking distance. Furthermore, the owner is very kind and helpful. The room is comfortable enough for two people, and the in-room TV is a welcome addition.

The owner regularly cleans the room every two days, and there's a washing machine, kitchen, and water dispenser.

The good thing about the location of this hostel is it's near Myeong Dong Station, within 2-3 minutes walk only. The only downside is, you need to climb some stairs from the subway to the street level, so be mindful if you carry big luggages. The hostel is super clean and the condition of the facilities are fairly new. It is not noisy in the room although it is just right above the main streets. However, the noise from outside of the room from corridor can be heard easily, for example whenever someone opens the door/talking from corridor. Toilet works well, water pressure is good but since the shower head is smaller, you might want to adjust the water smaller when showering as it hurts since the pressure is too big... They do provide shower gel, shampoo and conditioner but not toothbrush and toothpaste. There is a water dispenser, microwave & dining area at the public area. You can leave your luggage at the hostel FOC out of your check-in/out time. Fridge and hairdryer are also provided in the room. Bunk bed room is very good; Curtains for each of the bed to block out the lights, each bed has their own light too. Room is not big but enough to open 1 medium size luggage freely. Employees are very friendly and helpful too!

Best hostel in myeongdong area, near myeongdong station exit 9, the room is pretty small but very comfy, clean cabin and full facility. Will comeback soon

The location is simply fantastic! It was super convenient to be able to drop off my luggage at the hotel and then head back for some last-minute shopping in Myeongdong before returning directly to the hotel.

The front desk staff happened to be Japanese, and they even lent me a charging adapter, which was a lifesaver.

Just a heads-up, the toilet isn't flushable, and they don't provide toothbrushes or other amenities, so it's a good idea to bring your own.

While room cleaning didn't include changing the sheets, they did replace the towels and empty the trash, and the room was kept very clean – I was really happy with that!

I didn't hear any noise from other rooms at all, which was great for a peaceful stay.

I believe the front desk kitchen is available until 10 PM, and although I didn't use it, it seemed like a nice option for things like having ramen there.

The front desk staff were incredibly kind; they even gave me a face mask upon checkout.

If you're looking for a place to stay, I absolutely recommend this hotel!

The location is fantastic, and I always choose this place. They provide all the basic necessities. The room gets quite cramped with a suitcase open, leaving almost no space to walk around, but as a solo traveler who's stayed here many times, it's not an issue for me.

The location is fantastic, right in Myeongdong, super convenient! The area is also very lively, and the room was clean. Having both heating and AC was great. I'm extremely satisfied and would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit!

This is my first time staying somewhere so satisfying in all my trips to Korea! Even though I only managed to book a double room, it was incredibly clean and the location was excellent. I also have to commend the ********* girl at the front desk – her service was thoughtful, enthusiastic, and polite! I suggest the owner gives her a raise to keep her; I want to see her again on my next visit! Thank you!

The location is great, just a short walk from Myeongdong Station, and the staff are all very nice~

Located in busy area. Rooms were clean and small. Only issue was that bathroom ventilation was not so great so when you take a shower the entire room felt muggy. Staff were so cute and kind! I would not mind staying here again.
