24 Guesthouse Myeongdong Avenue in Seoul

The hotel staff are all super nice and always willing to help with whatever you need. Honestly, if you're reading this review, please don't come stay here. I'm afraid I won't be able to get a room myself later! Just kidding, haha!

This time I came to Korea and stayed directly near Myeongdong. I can only say it was super convenient! The room, though small, had everything I needed. The price was very affordable. The staff were very kind and friendly, and they also spoke English. They offer self-service laundry, as well as coffee and tea.

Just downstairs, there are tons of great food options, cafes, and various Korean cosmetic stores to browse.

It's even livelier at night, with the entire street filled with food stalls. I couldn't stop eating as I walked along! 😂

Plus, transportation is very convenient, with both the subway and bus stops nearby.

If it's your first time in Seoul, or if you're like me and need to film videos, vlogs, or food content, I highly recommend staying in the Myeongdong area.

Shopping during the day, street food at night. It only takes a few minutes to walk back to the hotel. It's truly the perfect choice for a relaxed trip!

Had a pleasant stay. Location is a bit far from both Hoehyeon and City Hall station (and lots of stairs involved) but there are so many restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores around. Namdaemun market stores close around 8pm but it’s cheaper compared to Myeongdong. Airport Limousine stop for Bus 6001 is nearer than the 6015 stop. There’s a 10k won fee for early check in, no daily housekeeping, and towels were the size of face towels. There’s soap and shampoo but no toothbrushes. Staff are friendly and there’s a common area with tables, coffee, water, and an open kitchen w/ microwave. Laundry (7-10pm) is free and they provided hangers and soap. Heating is centralized so I requested a room with a window in case it gets too hot. There’s a weighing scale on the 4th floor and you can also borrow a luggage scale from the info desk. Bathroom is also very narrow and no bidet but the water heater temp is easily controlled. Rooms have a mini fridge, coat rack, blower, and hair iron. I enjoyed staying here for my winter trip.

The location is the top notch.  Service was good. Its surrounded by lots of barbecue places. The reception is at 6th floor. Have elevator. 
Downside was they had old furniture. Room was little tight. Needed some deep cleaning and needed change all the blankets sheets and beddings.

Location is very good, easy to find food. There's convenience stores nearby. Guesthouse have facilities to warm food. Can do laundry too. They have share kitchen.

The duvet was a bit thin, and I got cold in the middle of the night because the heating wasn't very warm. There was also some dust on the bed and in the corners of the room. On the plus side, the location is quite convenient with restaurants nearby.

Stayed here for a concert at KINTEX and had a great experience.
The location is excellent—very close to Seoul Station, which made getting around super easy.
After the concert, I stayed a few more days for sightseeing, and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, which was really convenient.

The room wasn’t spotless, but it was perfectly fine for a solo traveler like me.
It seems suitable for two people as well, though it might feel a little tight.
The room was warm, and everything worked well—no issues with water or heating.

Personally, I really appreciated the self check-in option late at night.
My flight was delayed, so I was worried about arriving after hours, but everything went smoothly.

Overall, I’m satisfied with my stay.
If I travel solo again, I’ll definitely consider staying here.

Good enough location, near the heart of Myeongdong. Near the train and bus stops and shops and night market. Thank you for the good stay.
