Surprisingly a wonderful stay - we booked H Avenue Hotel last minute a few days before arriving in Seoul, reviews were generally good, safe, clean, accessible by the line 2 subway. But we were surprised by the cleanliness of the entire room, breakfast options for a hotel at this price point, and probably the greatest surprise was the water pressure and temperature of a room on the 13th floor! The temperature in my house doesn't even get that hot - I would definitely recommend staying here for a more budget friendly but still wonderful stay.

The room was a bit small; it was fine for one person but would be crowded for two. The hotel's location is excellent, about 200m from Ewha Womans University subway station. There are plenty of places to eat, convenience stores, bus stops, and airport buses nearby. I was very satisfied. They offer a simple breakfast, which was nice. You can also store your luggage. The restaurant on the first floor has a microwave, hot water, chopsticks, and cups, among other things. Thumbs up!

A very basic room, but bed was comfortable and staff was lovely. Breakfast is very simple and scarce, bathroom the shower is right above the toilet so water gets a bit everywhere. Location was great, very close to everything and lots of shops and dining options nearby.The window was small and facing an alleyway so the room was always very dark. The room has a sensor light at the entrance which is rather annoying as it goes on and off consantly, even during the night. Good for a very short stay.

Our stay exceeded expectations! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and professional. The room was clean and cozy, and the bedding was so comfortable we had a great night's sleep. The location is convenient yet quiet. Every detail was well thought out. We'll definitely choose this place again next time!

This hotel is super close to Ewha Womans University Station on Line 2. You've got Ewha Womans University, Yonsei University, Sogang University, and Hongik University all nearby. Plus, the free breakfast is really good!

I wouldn't recommend it. I had originally booked for three nights, totaling 23k. Within a minute of entering the first room, I went to talk to the staff about changing rooms. After moving to another room, I grabbed my suitcase and fled after ten minutes. Just look at the pictures – from the front hall, lobby, reception, and elevator to the rooms, everything was dark and dirty; it didn't look like it had been cleaned at all. And while none of the rooms had electric kettles, they all came with insecticide. Why, you ask? Even though it said non-cancellable, I immediately escaped to another place and spent three happy days there.

Thanks again to Trip.com's international department. When you're traveling abroad, you can always trust and rely on Trip.com; they always stand by their customers and won't tolerate unscrupulous businesses. (No specific implications intended.)

Seoul is a fragrant and clean city, with this place being the only exception in my seven-day trip.

My stay here was extremely disappointing. The actual room looked nothing like the photos. The room was very dusty, with actual dust balls in the corners. The bathroom had visible mold, the towels were torn, and the bed linen was pilling.

When I raised these issues, the receptionist gave me another room on the same floor to switch to. That room was even worse, with a broken bed frame. He then offered me yet another room, and the bathroom tiles were moldy there too. Every room I was shown was dusty and poorly maintained.

Since it was already late, I had no choice but to settle for my initial room. Overall, the cleanliness and upkeep were far below acceptable standards. Think twice before booking.

This hotel is very good in cleanliness. Actually they clean the room everyday and replace everything with a new one. However, our last day of stay shows one cockroach so really need to use the spray they provided.Please note, they do not provide toothbrush and toothpaste too.Not an issue for me though, because I everytime bring my own toiletries. Aside from that the service and kindness of the staff is outstanding. Will consider to stay in this hotel again as it is very convenient and accessible too.

We stayed here for 7 days and had a wonderful experience. The staff are very warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. They speak English, which made communication easy and comfortable. Our room was cleaned every day, and they made sure to provide fresh water daily, which we really appreciated.
The overall atmosphere felt very homey and family-friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return and stay here again on our next visit!
