Just extremely average. Nothing nearby and nothing worth commenting on. The room is very warm though. WiFi works fast. Didn't really talk to a single person there. Maybe it's more social in the summer.

I live in seoul. I called this hostel for a friend who would have a delayed flight and was worried about his reservation being canceled. The person who answered the phone cut me off saying "okay. Finished!". I was a little confused as to why he was trying to end the convo when i didnt even finish my sentence so i asked him if there was someone else i could talk to who can speak english. Well he hung up on me. To me this shows unreliable service and inconsideration to clients.
If you cant handle the business you run then get out. Someone else will do your job better.

As many Seoul hostels it is just a basement with warehouse feeling not even close to the price they are asking, 1 bothroom for 14 beds dorm anf no other WC in the whole building

The staff is actually Chinese they will not even greet you with a anya hasayo. Rather stare you down and tell you no no no no to any request. If you booked the 14 person dorm, it is in the basement with one shower and one toilet. No curtains or any partition just a huge open space until the last person turns off the lights. . They actually prefer you to walk around the guest house with street shoes, as an Asian that is just disgusting.

Overall not bad for the price, but water heater was hard to control. But for the price is okay. Picture shows dongdaemun area near the hotel.

Very good location, subway just across the street and easy check-in/check-out.

In this hotel you check in by yourself using a computer; there are no staff, although it seems that foreign volunteers work here. No one greets you or meets you on arrival. The kitchen is very small, and the volunteer workers are constantly cooking there, taking up all the tables. It made me feel uncomfortable. Instead of sitting there and occupying the tables all day, they could clean the mold in the shower. I even had to leave a note saying “Clean it” on the moldy ceiling so that someone would notice. Please clean it — soon the shower will turn into a black room.

This was a really cozy place to stay. The room had no strange smells, and the bathroom was pretty clean. It felt very safe for a solo traveler. The underfloor heating worked great, and having a window made it feel airy. Plus, most things were self-service, which is perfect for introverts like me!

Cheonggu station line 5 (purple color )exit 1 or from DDP line 4 one station change to line 5 , near in dongmyo flea market and DOMYO SPAREX SPA cheaper than in dongdaemun spa , female dorm with private bathroom
