We ordered a room with sea view but got a room towards a road. It was actually possible to see a little bit of the ocean from the balcony (that had sun for about 2 hours each day). We where told that the room was just refurbished, and that was probably true a few years back 😏 It's about 20 minutes walk to the centre of Playa Del Inglés. The staff was friendly and the food was ok.

We chose this hotel because of the location and good reviews, we thought that three-star hotels were generally good in the Canary Islands. We were wrong. The hotel has remained in the 70s and is in a really dilapidated condition. Our room was really dirty and musty, the whole kitchen was covered in grease up to the walls, the frying pans were unusable, there were dirt spills on the walls and the sofa was really disgustingly dirty. We demanded the room to be cleaned several times, but nothing happened all week, only emptying the trash and cleaning the floor. The breakfast is limited and even though breakfast is only 8-10am, no one had time to clean the buffet area at all and for example the fried eggs were almost finished every morning. The only positives were the wonderful, friendly young people working at the bar, the availability of pool chairs, the insanely wonderful Italian restaurant downstairs and the location of the hotel. I rate this hotel worth one star.

Old hotel that renovated rooms and they look quite good. The mattresses are very soft and should be replaced.

We are looking forward to our third six-week-stay at Apartementos Calma. We enjoy our stays here. The staff is kind and eager to help us with what we may need. We have nothing but good stories to tell about the place.

A nice place to stay on Playa del Ingles. The apartments are quite large. The hotel is located close to the beach and some grocery shops. Some restaurants can be found nearby, but it's better to walk some 10-15 minutes more to find the really nice ones. The only downside is the internet access which is available in public areas, but it costs around 6 euros/day in your apartment.

excellent location, one road away from seafront. Lovely apartment, very clean, everything you need for self catering. Friendly helpful staff , and felt safe. Supermarket, bars, restaurants etc next door, either side or opposite, yet room was quiet and peaceful. Swimming pool. Parking available on road outside or near bye. Don't buy ticket...its over 2 euros for 4 hrs... wait till next morning..will have a parking ticket on windscreen. Pay 1.80 euro in machine, put ticket in envelope with parking ticket and post in machine! Crazy system, even the traffic wardens laugh at, but that's they way to do it! Lovely friendly resort, good food and drinks. No rock or blues for us 50-60yr olds. All music devoted to 75 plus!!!!

Came here for the tapas which was really lovely. Good portions and friendly service. Garlic prawns were fantastic as were deep fried mini peppers with rock salt.

Had the house wine together with mussels and it's the best dish of mussels I ever had. Very tender, fresh and tasty. The ambience is calm but still with a moving atmosphere. I will definitely be back!
