Really good rooms laid out in very small single story blocks of two. Good facilities, bars and restaurants. Staff were very kind and helpful and particularly enjoyed morning yoga or pilates with Alejandro. Very good value

Currently staying at Cristobal. Only been here 4 days and already can say it’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed as a family! The facilities are great, exactly what we were looking for. Staying bed and breakfast (would love to be A.I but takes us out of our price range), breakfast has always been nice. Lots of choice (inc traditional English fry up options), always being replenished or cooked...

Booked via Jet2, no problems at the airport or with transfers. Local carnival was on so had a short walk but guides made sure there were no problems (a little loud but its a carnival!) We were made welcome on arrival, the food and service was great, everywhere kept very clean, and had a generally very chilled atmosphere. The rooms were fine, and not too much noise, but we did not spend much time indoors...

HD Parque Cristobel was in a good location, not too noisy but in easy reach of shops. I would have preferred nearer to seafront but there is a shuttle bus to take you to by the lighthouse and Melonares is lovely. The hotel had a good atmosphere, the staff were all delightful, pleasant and funny & so hard working. We had an emblem bungalow and it was great, kettle, hairdryer fantastic showers and padded...

We have now been twice and will be going back again. The staff are wonderful, the food is great, always something tasty to eat. Always sun loungers available. The rooms are a great set up for someone in a wheelchair. I love this place

Friendly staff, good variety of food! But the facility need an upgrade

Staff were extremely nice and friendly! Food was good with good variety. However, I was not pleased with the overall condition of my room. For instance no automatic closing mechanism for the main entrance door of the room, the toilet door was not closing and opening easily! No drying rack for clothes in balcony. The room water boiler for making tea was very basic with no tea bag or no coffee provided...

Good I really like this hotel and enjoyed the stay. Excellent food, but could vary more ( I was there for 2 weeks and got very tired of it). Rooms start to need a renovation and modernize to 21st century (USBs, comfy chairs in rooms, more modern bathrooms and overall decor). Annoying noise from construction in building next door every day from around 9am.

Ian's Review As always had a wonderful stay. Love the hotel and the staff are amazingly friendly. The hotel to be fair is a little dated but will be being refurbished next year.

Little if anything to fault, other than that the hotel requires an uplift, decor, furnishings etc. The staff are competent, hardworking,and courteous. The concierge staff always pleased to assist - in particular Santiago, who in my view epitomises the true and effective hospitality professional.
