Where to stay with kids in Gran Canaria

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most incredible week at Cordial Mogan Playa Hotel, in Puerto De Mogan celebrating our wedding with our family and friends

Every single guest loved it so much they’re already talking about coming back! From the delicious food, hotel grounds and super attentive staff our whole experience was fantastic from start to finish

A huge thank you to Maria and her amazing team for all the care, attention, and thoughtful arrangements that made our wedding day absolutely perfect

And an extra special thank you to Maria for kindly lending my brother her husband’s guitar so he could play during the ceremony — such a personal and touching gesture

The staff is exceptional! We felt very welcomed here!

Only issues I had was 1) cleaning staff were extremely loud on a morning and 2) hospitality staff didn't setup our table for my special birthday as requested by my dad

It was great loved it - all staff were amazing! Only thing I would change is the fact there is no privacy between guests on the balcony which can make it Abit arkward when all outside but other than that it was great!

I recently stayed at Servatur Waikiki and had such a fantastic experience that I felt it truly deserved a special mention. From start to finish, everything about the stay was smooth, friendly, and full of positive energy

overall the hotel is a little tired and dated, with some peeling paint and rough around the edges. I would recommend this as a good budget holiday hotel

But the main star of the show — without a doubt — was Pepe in the restaurant. What an incredible person! Every single day, Pepe would walk around the restaurant with the biggest, warmest smile on his face

The hotel has an excellent location, making it easy to reach everything you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive

The hotel is beautifully located, and the family rooms are large, spacious, and bright. There are beautiful views, plenty of attractions for children, and the food is tasty

Great animations and the team behind them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ However, the main issue was cleanliness

This not only makes the area look bad and smell unpleasant, but it also really affects the poolside experience for everyone else. We hope the hotel adopts a stricter smoking policy by the time we return

The hotel is so nice! Love the food! The service from Mila have the best help we gets! That is a very high service minded women! Rest of some people is so happy and see us! So good

We didn’t visit the adults-only pool, as sunbeds were limited and usually taken by the time we went out for the day. The hotel’s location is excellent — you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets every evening

The room has been cold from first day! Pool area is so good to!

There was continuous attention for children, with games and clubs always available, and the staff kept coming up with fun and creative activities just for them. Adults could enjoy themselves as well

Very basic and very clean with comfortable beds. The entertainment team make a real effort for the children throughout the day and in the evening

I stayed at this accommodation for four days with my six-year-old child

If there is one downside, it would be that if the pool water had been warmer, we definitely would have spent much more time playing in the water

A special touch that made my stay even more memorable was how they surprised me on my birthday with a lovely personal message and a box of almond chocolates in my room – such a thoughtful gesture that really made my day! The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed

During Christmas, there was a Santa train, delicious food, and a Willy Wonka musical on stage—the performance quality was exceptionally high. I would like to express my sincere thanks to them

Facilities in the hotel were amazing. Gorgeous pool, Billiards space available. Multiple restaurants and bar areas. Multiple lounge spacing near the pools

Food let hotel down, even for an all inclusive it was really bad at times. Breakfast was good but lunch was consistently not up to par. Dinner service had some choice. Staff were the shining factor for my stay

Only thin sheets available which wasn’t the best as it can be a little frosty over night. No irons in the hotel - only dry clean service which I’ve never encountered fresh bottle of water daily

Worth noting though quite a bit not included in all inclusive drinks package e. g mojito etc cocktails not available at main restaurant - only tap wine, sangria and beer

They sell sun cream and nappies but quite expensive so may want to bring from home, a pack of swim nappies was 14 euros! There are no irons in the room, a laundry service is provided but expensive (prices in photos)

I booked a double room - clean and functional. Had a smart TV however no apps on it or option to download which was very disappointing

Jet2 advertise the hotel as a family destination yet there is no gate on the children's pool area which would add a level of added security

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, the place was extremely family friendly. The food was great so many choices and the staff were always helpful

We love this hotel. This is our 3rd year back. The entertainment team are fantastic. Matea, Silvia, Davide,Greta,Omar bring the energy, fun , and great exercise in and around the pool. Can’t wait to come back again.

They were full of energy and made each day and night fun. There was a mini disco at night for the kids and then an entertainment show afterward for the family

i have come to this hotel for 3 years in a row now and it never disappoints me and my family, so many friends we have met because of this hotel and my favourite is the entertainment team, always have good activities and such a friendly atmosphere

The snack bar around the pool area was ideal for a quick bite to eat. The free bus to the beach was good and on time each day and the Chinese restaurant upstairs was lovely. We got this free with a pool view room

Rooms were spacious and clean with a spacious balcony (table and chairs) , amazing view (I got a sea view room on 4th floor), there’s a TV, couch, fridge, plenty of wardrobe space and a really nice modern bathroom! You could choose if you wanted the maid to come in daily leaving a sign on the door! The pool area was clean, I read reviews before going of people saying they had trouble getting sun loungers...

Room was clean, beautiful view. Staff super nice and the food brilliant. We didn't had a car so the location was perfect for us to use public transport to visit the island.

All the staff were amazing and friendly!! I’d say for a solo traveller or for your first holiday alone this hotel is perfect! Everything is so close together and it feels like a safe environment

Very nice hotel, good location with restaurants and shopping nearby. Nice rooms and the hotel has all amenities you need. Nice gym and the breakfast is really good.

That’s the only flaw I found and this was more in the day time around the pool bars as dinner waiters always scanned your card so that was fine! The beach and a shopping centre were only a short walk away, hotel called you taxis if you needed them

Everything was perfect except the check out. The staff seemed quitecrudecand affronted that we asked fir a late check out. We asked prior to our checkout as we have 2 children under 2 and were told to ask on the day

Ocean view room means the opposite side of the hotel to pool and activities area, which means quieter. Nice beach and ocean view is over the hotel car park and a road of low rise beach front apartments

Very little noise from outside. Higher floor probably has better view and quieter. We were on the 4th floor and the view was pretty good, and were not bothered by any noise. Lots of wardrobe, cupboard and drawer space

Six digit safe in the wardrobe is just big enough for my 15. Wifi 10 mbps up / 10 mbps down in room. Wifi connection with room number is a bit hit and miss, but reception has a work around

Excellent and very extensive breakfast buffet with a little table service. All staff and services were **excellent**, and staff were always very helpful

Hotel in general: Could do with more no smoking areas and more clearly sign posted. Good WiFi signal everywhere in hotel, even on my cheapo tablet

Aircon fan was a little noisy, but it didn't stop us from sleeping. The aircon cooled the room fine. Double curtains kept out light very well

Drinks: Big choice of cocktails,spirits, self service beer and wine taps. Pools: brilliant 👏 Not packed, with plenty of sunbeds and activities. No such a thing as sunbed war. Slides are suitable for all age groups

The rooms are to a great standard. We had a family room and both bedrooms had T. Vs and comfortable beds for all 4 of us. The dining room is comfortable and you are not sat too close to other diners

The food is fantastic in both quality and range, with multiple fish and meat options aswell as vegetarian dishes. The staff are all amazing, friendly and happy to help

New Years Eve was incredible with a beautiful meal and then a great show

The hotel is not bad, but it feels more like a 3-star than a 4-star. On the positive side, the entire staff and hotel service were great – very friendly and helpful people. The food was good and, most importantly, fresh

On the downside, there’s only one main bar for the whole hotel, which can lead to queues, even in December. A second bar near the reception opens only after 6 PM

Amazing hotel that has great staff and is very children friendly. One person in my family got sick and the hotel helped us dealing with that. Thank you for your amazing serivce, I will defintely come back.

The hotel is very suitable for children, both in terms of the pool area and the food in the restaurant. The small bungalows are nice and cozy and all areas are neat and clean.

Great resort, excellent staff throughout. Pool is nice - lovely atmosphere. There's a quiet pool too should you prefer that. Breakfast and Dinner was plentiful and always freshly cooked

Everything was verry good. The food was verry good. The only thing we didn't like was there were to many couples with young children.

The cottages were very comfortable and clean. We had requested a quiet spot, and this was perfect for us, especially since the large pool is relatively busy with music (which is fine if you like that sort of thing)

Hotel was great! Rooms were large, Clean, tidy but a little tired and probably due a refurb. Bed was comfy and we slept well. The view across the ocan was amazing. Felt like we’d really lucked out! Food was good

Really nice touch that there was a hotel bar on the beach serving drinks and food that was included in the all inclusive package from the hotel

All Staff were friendly and polite. Several Shuttle bus to the beach, although we walked probably 10 mins, not an issue for us

Kids splash pool with slides and tipping buckets is heated - this is such a bonus! Bigger pool with bigger slide isn’t too bad once you’re in. There’s a HiperDino on site which is great

Really good rooms laid out in very small single story blocks of two. Good facilities, bars and restaurants. Staff were very kind and helpful and particularly enjoyed morning yoga or pilates with Alejandro

Currently staying at Cristobal. Only been here 4 days and already can say it’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed as a family! The facilities are great, exactly what we were looking for

Lots of choice (inc traditional English fry up options), always being replenished or cooked fresh in front of you. There isn’t much to do close to the hotel. But the free bus to Maspalomas beach is a great bonus

Staying bed and breakfast (would love to be A. I but takes us out of our price range), breakfast has always been nice

The beds were so comfortable! We didn’t go out the hotel much but unless you care about excursions you don’t really need to leave as the resort has a shop located right on the edge with everything you need

Poolside entertainment was fun and a lot of the time dependent on people willing to get involved! I'm sure it's more lively in busier seasons

Poolside staff were lovely and always took the time to teach us the Spanish version of our orders

All the other time we enjoyed time at the hotel using the miniclub and poolside entertainment

Pool isn't heated and although the weather is lush and hot sometimes the pool was a little cool for the little ones, we generally used it when the sun had been on it for a while and did short stints but the older children seemed happy to be in and out

Yes the staff were very courteous and helpful, the Animation team were excellent, the events that they organised for the children and adults 😀 was very good, pool area kept clean and well policed by the Life guard on duty, The food was good most of the time Breakfast v good

We didn’t pay crazy money so worth it and only here for long weekend. Pools too cold to swim in and waterpark salt water making it uncomfortable to be in for long

Loads of different foods to choose from and have ate like pigs for the last week🤣 Our 8, 17 & 18 year olds had a lovely time too! Will be booking again for next year!

I very very rarely post reviews but I felt I had to due to the amount of bad reviews I had read prior to coming to this hotel/resort

I came with my 10 year old son, just us and I was slightly worried about how it might be due to reading so so many negative reviews about this hotel

All inclusive meals are very good. Never bored for choice and the alcohol is served in very generous measures

We also had a breakfast included in our stay and it was nice, good choice but always the same things: fruit, freshly made eggs, bacon, tortilla and patisserie. All in all we were very happy to stay there

This was our third consecutive visit to Cay Beach Princess. It’s very good value accommodation, with very friendly and helpful staff. Although it is out of town, it is easy and cheap to get taxis.

Bungalows are more than adequate and it has a lovely pool that is suitable for adults and children alike. Rooms consist of a small living room with kitchen and a separate bedroom and bathroom

We enjoyed our stay at this resort and liked having a 1 bedroom with kitchen bungalow near the pool. The pool was very clean & beautiful but the water is too cold for most people to swim

I wish they would have told us about the free shuttle to the beach when we checked in instead of 2 days later

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and we enjoyed Happy Hour (2 for 1 drinks) and ate dinner 2 times at the pool bar that had a casual menu with many choices

The downside was that the same dishes were served way too often. A greater variety of dishes would be great! The hotels own pool, the aquapark and the spa were all pleasant. (For additional cost on the beach

We really liked it. Good selection of food. Staff were really friendly and couldn't fault the cleanliness. Food is good considering they have to cater for different tastes

A wonderful experience! A very clean, spacious hotel. The staff were great and did everything to please us. Always found something to eat at the buffet. Plenty of fresh vegetables and meat

This hotel was amazing! Our first family holiday abroad with children and we couldn’t have asked for anymore! The children’s pool was perfect and I felt so much more comfortable knowing there was life guards on duty throughout the day

Privelege suits are worth every cent. I upgraded to the privilege suites. They were so spacious and clean the balcony was the size of some of the rooms and was looking onto the main pools

You have pretty much everything you need inside and around the hotel for a relaxing stay. More family oriented than the Tabaiba side but it's still the same thing. Would recommend to anyone.

The entertainment team were fabulous my youngest wee girl lived for the entertainment each night. Very family friendly but not overly noisy, there was a good mix of guests

This place is fabulous, staff are very friendly the outside and inside looks very well looked after and the cleaners do an amazing job keeping this huge hotel spotless
