Grupotel Club Turquesa Mar in Cala'n Bosch

Had an absolutely wonderful, brilliant, relaxing and fun 10 days at this hotel, it was the best! It was extremely clean, extremely friendly, all staff couldn’t do enough and the entertainment team was outstanding, they went above and beyond at all times of the day always wearing a smile. They were a cut above the rest and we really hope to see them again on our travels to other TUI family hotels. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for families with children. the kids club was great, my 5 year old happily went every day. The food was great, a nice variety and the pools were great, everything was just great! So get booking now!

Nice hotel. Decent pool for kids, good food, kids club is great and the entertainment staff (tui) were awesome . Beach a couple of minutes walk and a shop for anything you missed next to hotel. Recommended

First impressions of the hotel were good. Check in was quick and efficient with a friendly receptionist. The room was a good size and clean, although a little bit dated.

The pool area had a good layout with plenty of sun beds and parasols available at all times of the day. Bar service was always good, no queuing and bar staff who were always cheerful and were good with my grandsons.

The buffet restaurant served a good selection of dishes throughout the day. Breakfast was a wide choice of hot and cold. There was always a good choice to suit everyone. Lunch and dinner also provided a wide variety, with meat, fish and vegetarian options. Freshly cooked pizzas where available and the pizza chef was always welcoming.

One issue in the buffet restaurant were the flies. Perhaps it was due to the time of the year? They were a problem, settling on fruit, bread, salad etc. on the buffet servers and could also be an issue around tables when seated. Two members of my family suffered gastroenteritis during our stay, both having eaten salad and fruit.

The reason for only 4 stars is due to a lack of cleaning, particularly the bedroom. Simple things like a coffee cup used on day one, hadn’t been cleaned after a week. Bedding wasn’t changed during my stay and towels were only changed sporadically (despite being left in the bath). The only coffee in the room was decaffeinated and the two sachets weren’t replaced at all once used. Although, a bottle of bubbly was left in my room on my birthday, which was a nice touch. During a couple of storms, water leaked through the roof and window, leaving the floors perilously slippery. The pool area also suffered a lack of cleaning, with glasses left by sun beds often not being cleared away for a couple of days.

A big positive for the hotel are the staff. The waiters and waitresses in the restaurant were always happy and helpful, as were the bar staff in both bars.

The entertainment team were brilliant. They quickly made you feel welcome and always found time to stop and chat. Roger is a great entertainer and the shows he did with the girls were better than ‘professional’ visiting acts. The whole entertainment team worked hard to ensure people enjoyed themselves and their enthusiasm was welcome. Both my grandsons loved their time doing activities and playing with the clowns.

Overall, a good hotel and a mostly enjoyable experience.

Great Family hotel with everything you need for the little ones.

Our 10 month old boy loved the pools and the selection of food available, hotel couldn’t of been much better with having a ground floor apartment with great space for my son to explore so we was never not playing.
