Hotel Gran Sagitario in Ciutadella

Stayed for a week at end of October as a family of four in 2 rooms. This very modern newly built hotel is situated near a small sandy beach and 5-6 min taxi ride to ciutedella. Both worth visiting Pros...good choice of food...spotlessly clean...helpful staff...great spa (free for an hour daily). Cons...only one ...the rooms have no proper bathroom door which can be an issue regarding privacy using toilet... odd design I would 100% return...our kids are teenagers and really enjoyed it...not much on site for younger kids however

Just returned after a 4 night stay. The hotel was excellent from start to finish. One of the cleanest hotels we have stayed at. Quiet location but understand it was coming towards the end of the season. All staff that we came across are a credit to the hotel. Food was varied and plenty of options. Spa is free for 1hr every day for guests. Lovely Irish bar around 10min walk away where food was also lovely. A 35min walk to Ciutadella, taxi was €6.

Amazing hotel with amazing staff. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful from helping with luggage to organising taxis, car hire and spa sessions. The restaurant and bar staff were always welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The cleaning staff were always cheerful and kept the whole hotel and grounds spotless. Cannot fault this hotel at all would return in a heartbeat.

We had half board for 9days with Jet2. Here some bullet point of my review: -Clean, relaxing, and friendly lovely staff. -One of the best ever quality dinner food, with tapas style, with good variety, every day different and friendly staff . -The hotel located in a quiet area,15 minutes walk to cala blanca, 10minut in bus €1.7 or taxi €7 to beautiful town of cuitidella. -The hotel located at a quite area ,with a relaxing atmosphere ,so if you looking for party ,then this place is not for you. -Its 5 minutes walk to near by sea cliff, to see sunset -There are two shops a few minutes walk away, were one own by an amazing 89years old Diego . -A great spa facility and we had a very good massage, highly recommended. -The pool is fantastic relaxing with reasonable water temperature with free pool towels provided . Plenty of sun lounger and it was nice and quiet. -A good free parking area just outside the hotel. -A good ,helpful and friendly receptionists ,especially Carla. -The bedroom is clean, mattress and pillow are comfortable, got free safe ,cold temperature fridge, good air-conditions, small area for drying cloths in the balcony ,just one bar to dry clothes or towel. We had 2nd floor room with the cala satandria view balcony ,not the pool view, as we want a quite room. -We have hired a car and visited cala galdana, son xoriguer, son saura,cala bosch, and all were nice beaches. We will definitely go back next year not just for the hotel but for the incredible fabulous friendly staff.

Second visit to this hotel. Staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful and very professional. The hotel is so clean and tidy. If you want nightlife or a lively location this hotel is probably not for you. The only letdown is people smoking around the pool and pool bar, although the hotel is supposedly a no-smoking hotel. Management need to get control of this.

We stayed at the Gran Sagitario in Menorca for 5 nights and had such a lovely experience. The location is excellent — just a 2-minute walk to the beach, around 15–20 minutes on foot to Cala Blanca, and less than 10 minutes by taxi into Ciutadella.

The staff were incredibly professional yet friendly and always helpful. We really appreciated being able to collect clean towels daily for the pool or beach. Our room was very comfortable, with good air conditioning, a great shower, a comfortable bed, and daily cleaning. It was also very quiet and well sound-proofed, which made for a restful stay. I liked the no-smoking policy in the hotel, though it was a shame the guests in the room next to us chose to ignore it.

Breakfast was included and offered a wide variety of freshly prepared options, including plenty of healthy choices. Eating on the restaurant balcony was a lovely start to the day. The pool area was beautiful, always with plenty of loungers available, and we enjoyed drinks and lunch at the pool bar — both of which were excellent.

Overall, we were very impressed with the Gran Sagitario and would highly recommend it. We will definitely return.

Fabulous new hotel right next to Cala Santandria. Smart, moden decor, very pleasant staff, lovely pool, very clean, great selection and quality of food at breakfast. The only negative is it's a little clinical and lacking in atmosphere especially for evening dining and although there was live music one night we were disappointed when it was completely over by 11pm! . On the positive side, the location is super right next to the lovely Cala Santandria beach.

Beautiful hotel.
This hotel is perfect if you want a quiet , relaxing and peaceful holiday. It’s very Modern and exceptionally clean (the staff are cleaning all of the time). The rooms are a good size and has everything you need, fridge, safe , tea and coffee facilities…..AIRCON!
The pool is beautiful and is a really nice temperature. There were always enough sun beds.

The staff are all very welcoming and work really hard to keep all of the guests happy. The women on reception are very helpful.

The selection and quality of food is outstanding, really tasty and fresh! Chefs do a brilliant job!

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Sagitario Hotel in Menorca. The welcome was warm and professional from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless, very clean, and comfortable. The food was delicious, varied, and beautifully presented—a real treat every day. All the services were worthy of a true 4-star hotel. There's nothing to complain about; everything was perfect. I recommend this establishment without hesitation!

Loved our stay here in May - took our parents in their 80s. Good facilities for couples of differing ages, with some relaxed evening music around the bar.
Easy for us to be more adventurous around the island. Enjoyed the local food options and well kept pool area.
Great service, didn't use spa facilities but looked nice.
