Don Carlos Hotel in Marbella

It was a real oasis. I mean we stayed in the junior suite, which spanned over 900ft. It was beautiful. Then the terrace was breath taking overlooking the hills of Malaga. The girls Danielle and Frani were ever so helpful when we sprung a request for a mini birthday party. It was just amazing. Nothing was too much to ask. The spa facilities were equally amazing which were complimentary. We also encountered a lovely lady at the front desk Sam who recommended places to visit, eat e.t.c. Breakfast was lovely and healthy with more options on request if needed.
Peacock Bar, Bahia restaurant and the beach club (with the best frozen daiquiris ever😋). It was all very lovely, we were also able to see what the deluxe villas look like especially for families. Would definitely recommend.

Exceptional good hotel in Marbella.
I stayed several days with my family in February and we were so glad to have choosen this Hotel.
The newly renovated rooms are really spacious, nice and offers all amentities expected for a 5* Hotel. The outdoor pool is heated and can be used at all seasons. The gym is one of the best Hotel gmy‘s I have seen (top notch quality and you can even do excercises outside).
But the best gem is the staff! From the valet guys, reception, spa ladies to the waiters there are so nice, kind and attentive.
Special thanks to Isaias, very friendly and proactive. He remembered our coffee preference after the day 1 and serviced us the following days directly without order - outstanding good.
The beach can be reached via a walk through the beautiful Hotel garden and the old town of Marbella in approx. 9km.
All in all, absolutely recommenable and we will come back.

The hotel staff were incredibly attentive, and the room felt brand new after its recent renovation. The spa facilities were excellent too. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

The most wonderful experience and amazing service we've ever had when traveling abroad. We traveled on holiday with our baby who sadly became very ill once there. The hotel went above and beyond to reassure and comfort us! Stunning room, amazing staff (who were always asking us how our little one was doing!), incredible food! I cannot wait to go back!!

What an amazing hotel!

I took my wife for a long weekend and all the staff was very attentive, friendly making sure your every need was attended to.
The hotel has been refurbished and some areas are still under improvement but all work is carried out discreetly not causing any problems for the guests.

The new decor is spectacular and you can see that no expense has been spared.
We particularly liked the courtyard seated bar area with amazing cocktails and the breakfast was to die for.

We both really enjoyed our stay and will be visiting again for our next special treat

We didn’t stay in the hotel, but we really enjoyed the Rafa Academy tennis facility. The courts are good and the location / view spectacular. The staff in the reception/ bar were friendly and plentiful. Cheers!

Hotel Don Carlos is the best hotel in Marbella, Costa Del Sol. Great location, beautiful garden, a private beach, swimming pools, tennis sport club, and the best on-site spa. The property has a bar in small garden next to the lobby, a restaurant with an open terrace for breakfast and dinner service, and a poolside restaurant operating during daytime hours. An additional restaurant is scheduled to open in January-February 2026, with construction currently underway. The beach club is getting a makeover after this year's feedback! ️ I saw the demolition start myself on December 1st, and the renovation is coming along impressively. We are coming to this hotel for many years and we are particularly impressed with the recent comprehensive renovation. The hotel now presents an even more aesthetically pleasing and inviting ambiance. All guest rooms have undergone a complete refurbishment, featuring a serene and contemporary design. The bathroom fixtures are of high quality and are complemented by an excellent selection of amenities. The breakfast area is exceptionally well-appointed, boasting an open terrace. The ambient music throughout the hotel is consistently smooth, easy-listening, and contributes significantly to a pleasant atmosphere. The food service is outstanding, offering a diverse and delicious culinary selection. The attentive and skilled waitstaff and chefs are adept at accommodating individual preferences and dietary requirements, including allergy awareness. The accommodations are remarkably quiet and impeccably clean. The fresh, pristine towels and crisp linens significantly enhance the comfort of our stay. We thoroughly enjoy our stays here; the atmosphere is remarkably pleasant and tranquil. Despite the proximity of the children's club to the pool, its thoughtful placement ensures minimal disruption, as children's activities are contained. We wish to commend the entire hotel staff for their exceptional professionalism and dedication. Every employee consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and a commitment to guest satisfaction. We consistently feel a sense of belonging, and it is evident that all guests receive the same high level of attentive service. Our Big, Huge Thanks to everyone in Guest Experience Service, Reception and Concierge Teams, Porters, Waiters, chefs and all kitchen personnel, Housekeeping and Laundry Departments, SPA team, Pool staff, and to the management for all of their help, support, attention, kindness, professionalism, and care. We stayed at Don Carlos Marbella as a large group of ladies on a tennis trip and it was fantastic from start to finish. The tennis facilities and coaches at the Rafa Nadal Academy were excellent. The staff throughout the resort looked after us so well, handling any issues smoothly and always going the extra mile. The level of service was exceptional.

The resort itself is stunning, the facilities superb, delicious food and the signature scent is absolutely divine. Insider tip: the concierge can send you home with the hotel’s signature fragrance ;-) .

A wonderful experience all around, highly recommend... we can't wait to return!
