Luze Boutique San Sebastián in San Sebastian

Perfect little hotel high on a hillside overlooking the sea. If you're a fan of modern design then it's not for you, but it's quiet, clean, comfortable and has really friendly staff. If you have a car and don't want to be right in San Sebastián city centre, I highly recommend this lovely independent hotel.

We stayed at the pension two nights. The room was clean, we had something like a junior suite for 135 Euros per night w/o breakfast (8 Euros). Breakfast could be better. Friendly staff at the reception, good room service. Nice ocean view from first and second floor. Bus no. 16 leaves from station about a 3 min walk down the hill, takes 5 min to Ondarreta beach for 1,70 Euro. Surrounding is rural with farms and animals... but green and right on top of Monte Igeldo. That means you enjoy a permanent breeze and ca. 2 degrees Celsius less than on sea level.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. We were just passing through and arrived at midnight. The concierge went to the kitchen and made tapas for us even if the kitchen was closed because we mentioned we had not had anything to eat yet.

Receptionist friendly, large room and bathroom, spotless clean. Breakfast +/- 8 Euro worth every Penny!

Really lovely. There is no bar or resturant at the moment which is a bind if you are on foot like I was, but hotels with both are around without having to go too far. Sea views from some rooms and pleasant garden views from others. Staff are friendly and happy to help. Great walk into town, a bit tougher on the way up but the route is serviced by 2 buses.
