The sound insulation is not good. It is better to live on the second floor, but there is no elevator and the stairs are narrow and steep. If you have more luggage, it is better to go downstairs, but it is noisy downstairs and the scenery is not as good as upstairs.

It's a difficult place to get to without a car, but if you do have one, the view from your hotel room and the breakfast were all wonderful. The receptionists were also friendly, and the middle-aged woman who prepared breakfast was also very kind.

First of all, two huge issues as for me: this hotel is located NOT where Google maps show it, which is a real problem for a tourist, in addition, there was no parking available at all, which again is a problem on these narrow medieval streets. We ended our 10-day trip though Spain with one night in Toledo. We wish we had stayed longer. While the room itself was basic (no view/small window), it was very clean and comfortable. But the best part of the hotel was the staff working at the front desk. Everyone we talked to was friendly, funny and helpful. The hotel is really well served by the staff!

We had a room equipped for persons with reduced mobility. The equipment was great and the room and bath room were very nice. The shower had a chair, several supporting bars were available also for the toilet that was higher. The mirror was large and designed for a sitting person. The only small improvement we would suggest is that the small chair usable for the lavabo could be a little bit larger...

We loved our choice of San Juan de los Reyes for our 2 day stay in Toledo. Fab spacious family room, absolutely lovely staff, wonderful breakfast (the gentleman there took care of us like a five star), convenient parking, everything was fantastic. Highly recommendable.

Newish, well presented hotel. No room service but great bar and restaurant. Take note of siesta hours in Spain. Room fridge small, but otherwise well appointed. No rooms with a balcony which is a shame on the south side. Staff were exceptionally good, helpful and their English is above par. Its an uphill trip from here to anywhere, but Toledo is built on a hill.

Fabulous in every respect. Having a Family Room gave us both space and silence to sleep well .... I snore loud & long ! Most excellent Staff at Reception ( Alberto ? ) and in the Restaurant. Loved our 5 night stay here. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, warm accommodation. Location perfect for us. Across from the railway station and 10 minute walk to the old town. Long stay free car park just down the road.

The location is excellent, at the begining of the oldtown, but near the bus station and other places of interest. The rooms are very big and very clean, the bathroom is nice too. The service was very kind, but the breakfast is expensive for what they offer, walking 1-2 minutes there are many places to have better breakfast for lower price.

Our stay at Hotel Santa Isabel was amazing. Although we only had one night in Toledo, we felt so welcomed. Juan at the front desk was a wonderful host, with excellent food recommendations and helped us explain to our taxi driver what we wanted to see. The views from the terrace are just amazing.

The hotel I stayed at in the old city of Toledo was fantastic. Although the room was listed as only 13 square meters, it was actually quite spacious. The breakfast was also delicious, and it felt incredibly luxurious. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel staff were very welcoming and sent an email reminding me to book parking in advance if I was driving. Their service was excellent.

A very cool place where you can also enjoy a beautiful view of Toledo. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and the service from the hardworking staff is excellent. The place is very nice, the staff super attentive and friendly. The quality of the produce and the cooking are very good, the meat exquisite (see photo). Hostal Toledo is a great choice for a short stay. I would say they offer 3 star quality. The stuff does not speak English much, but you can understand each other :). Hostal Toledo is not far from the central part, but we had a car (there is no much parking space in the city center though). There is also a bus or you can go there walking. There is an underground parking (extra chagre). Recommended!

On 28th April I was stranded in Toledo on a day trip from Madrid due to the nationwide power outage . The proprietor could not have been more helpful , accommodating a party of 10 in very comfortable rooms , advised us where we could buy food and letting us picnic (!)in his breakfast room , only charging a very reasonably price when he could have profiteered from our situation .
