The stay was very pleasant at Soul Backpackers. The dormitories were clean and maintained. The common areas were colorful, well-kept, easy to socialise and meet new people. The staff is also courteous and friendly. They are a but pricey coz of proximity to main areas but overall and wonderful stay for few nights!

This was a truly wonderful place to stay! I accidentally left something behind at the hotel, but they were incredibly kind and helpful, keeping it safe for two days and even arranging for DHL pickup. They also offered laundry service for an additional fee (they mentioned having an 8kg washing machine). I do agree that there's room for improvement with the locks. However, the staff were lovely, and my roommates were all very kind and quiet. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance.

Nice quiet place in a convenient location, the room was clean and quiet and the toilets are cleaned regularly

For young people. Felt a little trange hanging around there for me, a 30 year old singel traveler. No public place to hang around. Small. Good location.

Stayed here in 2011 and absolutely loved it. I stayed during New Years Eve - best hosts and travellers. I made a lot of friends during my stay here and continued to be friends since then. Very clean and friendly.

I spent four nights in this hostel last week and I had an absolutely incredible time there. It may be small, but it's cozy and quaint, and they offer all of the facilities you would ever need as a backpacker. I visited a couple other friends who were staying in hostels nearby, and this made me realize just how lucky I was to stay at Soul Backpackers instead. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel like family. The location is awesome, you can come and go as you please (they have 24/7 reception) and the lockers were huge! Showers worked great, and the place was really clean. If you want to party hard till 4 am in your hostel, this place isn't for you, but if you want to get an authentic experience of Barcelona and be surrounded by friendly and generous staff, then this is the hostel for you. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I went back.

Stayed one night, and it was a very nice hub. Close to lots of cheap or nice restaurants. Near a supermarket. Walking distance to the main drag of Barcelona. The hostel has 24 hour reception, and really nice (big) containers for luggage. They have locks to rent for them, but you should bring your own. They lock up the kitchen and showers at night, which is really unfortunate and almost worth docking a star, but I've had no other complaints. They have a guitar that's free to use which is a huge plus for me. Pretty nice kitchen and selection of spices. No keys to the place, which is odd. If it weren't for the nice lockers, I would feel unsafe about it. The place is quite small, but very cozy. Nice for meeting folks!
