Bed & Bike Hostel Barcelona in Barcelona

I have always had a negative attitude towards hostels, but my experience at Bed&Bike changed my attitude. It was a great experience. The hostel has a cozy homely atmosphere. Modern with a thematic component. I really liked the neat design. Friendly residents. The administrators are very polite and always ready to help and provide all the necessary information. There is a large kitchen that can be used for proper nutrition. The bathroom is also fine, although there are sometimes problems with the pressure.
In addition to paying for accommodation, you need to pay a tourist tax (a few euros per person per day). Towel rental is also paid separately. If you want to protect yourself and lock your things, then this is also paid separately. It is great that you can leave your things in a storage room and it is free.
I was also pleased with the location. A few minutes walk to the metro, and 10 minutes walk to the Sagrada Familia.
In general, I highly recommend this hostel for those who want to have a good time in the city.

Pretty thoughtful design for the bathroom. Towel and lock are not for free. Bed has curtains but you do have to make your own bed which is definitely not preferable after a long day of traveling. Family dinner available for £3 (never tried) and they have bike rental.
Bathroom can be a little tight in the morning. Pretty close to bus stations and 10min walk from Barcelona north where you can take buses to other cities. 7-15min walk from different metro stations

First experience in a hostel so nothing to compare to, but completely happy and will hope to stay again.
May-June 2024 I stayed for 4 nights, in town for the Primavera Sound festival.
Staff were welcoming and polite, always greeted on every entrance and exit with a smile. They helped with my locker which was mildly jammed, and any other queries. Offered directions and suggestions.
Rooms were as clean as I'd expect, shower and bathroom shared but no issues.
Tours were offered relatively cheaply, and the family dinner at 8:30pm was very welcoming, hosted by volunteers.

My friend and I had a GREAT experience staying at the Bed and Bike hostel in Barcelona! The staff was all super friendly, accommodating, and the check in/out process was seamless. The location is central to so much and the rooms/amenities are very nice. I really appreciated their staff’s help with calling taxis for guests and answering all our questions. I would stay here again for sure!

Great comfy space to stay. Chilled atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. You could rent bikes, cook your own food and drinks, play games. They had movie nights and family dinners, which were a nice touch, particularly for solo traveller.

The staff welcomed us with great hospitality, even in odd hours, the beds are great and there’s enough privacy, the other guests are very nice and great to talk to. although it is a shared bedroom and people did get up and made some noise it was not to much

I loved that every night there was a dinner prepared by the staff.
