Super friendly stuff! Rooms are a little old, but clean and don't stink, sheets and towels are clean without stains. Overall great value for money we paid, comparing to other hotels in this area. Breakfast is absolutely fine. We are happy with our stay.

This Barcelona base camp offers excellent service; the staff, particularly Jeffrey, provided helpful recommendations and guidance. The accommodations are basic but ideally located in central Barcelona for a comfortable stay.

Very nice location with easy access to the city Centre and so many places around to eat and drink.
The staff are very friendly. The hotel is definitely a two star as stated. The rooms are functional, has a working Wi-Fi and also a working AC. The bathroom is okay and came with shampoo, gel and bar soap as well as towels. There is a small tv in the room as well. One thing to note is that the room keys are to be dropped at the reception when leaving the hotel.
The elevator works but has a smell. Breakfast is okay. Something to snack on to start your day.
I particularly like that I could store my luggage after check out until time for departure to the airport.

I never actually made it to the hotel because they cancelled my reservation. I called them to ask what had happened. There was some problems with my card. Even though I had it in writing that they would keep my reservation and just pay on arrival they ended up cancelling my booking. Now I don't have a booking and the prices are much higher...

The location is top, very central like you are in the middle of Happening. The room is okay but no comfort, bed is ok but bit Hard and only a thin sheet to sleep with. The most horrible thing for me was the noise. You hear everything from the Street, they Party till 6 in the morning and the everytime the Metro drives by the whole hotel is inder Vibration.. So for people like me with a Bad sleep, you will be annoyed.

What I did like? Lovely lady called Lisa in reception pleasant and helpful. Breakfast ok - all out of a machine or packet but fresh croissants and fruit good. Second room (that I insisted on moving too) Room 401 on 4th floor such an improvement on the first room 202 (I will explain below) airy and a lovely view of Las Rambas still shoddy fittings and bad workmanship but a better experience. It is what it is... What I didn't like? Room 202 I was given to begin my 2 night stay here - hands down worst room I have ever paid for the price ever - very small, no view only a small window to a shaft, tiles falling off, very dirty and shoddy looking. Bed a small 'camp bed' with a mattress with a dip in the middle. Bathroom pokey, door didnt close - marker pen on the door to tell me so!! AC didnt work very well - asked Lisa to show me how ceiling fan worked - sweltering room without it - in the middle of the night - night club noise and the ceiling fan looked like it was going to fall off - very dangerous so I went to tell the night manager, insited I wanted to change rooms or leave in morning with a refund - very rude Indian man told me to go away - left shouting at him how disgusting the room was.. got about an hour sleep - next morning Lisa changed my room.

The location is great, you can reach any place you want very easily. The staff is nice, breakfast is okay, you get what you paid for and the rooms are same situation, don't expect something amazing, they are fine. Good things about the room, it has a TV, quite spacious, you can vet a second pillow and a blanket. The AC works well. The wifi works okay sometimes with some breaks but it's functional.
Asked for a balcony they assigned me a room with balcony to La Rambla a bit noisy at night and early morning, the balcony door cancel a good amount of the noise but still, maybe ask for someplace on the other side of the building.
Bad thing: the walls are not very thick, which means you hear your neighbors, in any kind of situation 🙄
The room was not dirty on arrival but also not spotless clean. I guess you really get what you pay for.
Overall good experience, would return and recommend.
