Occidental Vigo in Vigo

I stayed here for one night on a business trip and it was a complete disappointment. When we were checking in the woman at the front desk was very rude and unwelcoming. There is no parking anywhere nearby so you have to park in a shopping center across the street and walk with your luggage. The staff were cold, unhelpful and seemed irritated by even the simplest requests. The WiFi was a nightmare to connect to and required providing email, phone number, zip code and other personal information just to get online. When I asked for a spoon to be brought to my room the staff refused. To make matters worse housekeeping came into my room twice in the morning before my checkout time.

For the price they charge this is absolutely not a four star hotel. It is more like a budget motel pretending to be something it is not. Overpriced, poorly run and completely lacking in basic hospitality. Do not waste your money.
