Bellamar Hotel Beach & Spa in San Antonio Abad

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and the whole property felt quiet and peaceful. It’s been recently renovated, which really shows in the overall atmosphere and comfort.

The location couldn’t be better – just a 2-minute walk to the beach. The pool was a good size and never felt overcrowded. Until around midday it stays in the shade, so the water can be a bit cool, but we never had trouble finding a sunbed, which was great.

The food was decent, with a fair selection at both breakfast and dinner. There was always something to suit different tastes, and Valentina & Alba in the restaurant deserve special mention for their excellent service.

I also appreciated the little details: no extra cost for using the safe, and beach towels were available with just a €10 deposit. If you wanted to swap for clean ones, it was only €1, which was very convenient.

Overall, a quiet, clean, and well-located hotel with good facilities and friendly staff – a great choice for a relaxing holiday.

We love this hotel!!! Our favourite thing is the food. We look forward to dinner every evening. Each night they have something different so it never gets boring. The salad bar is full of varied and fresh ingredients. I actually wonder how they are able to come up with so many new dishes for every meal! They must put a lot of thought into it.

The breakfast is lovely as well with fresh orange juice, cappuccinos, and eggs made to order. Once again the variety is excellent.

Besides this, the location is great and the staff are very friendly. The hotel is extremely clean. The pool area is well maintained with good service and sun beds are always available. You can easily hop back and fourth between the pool and the beach as a nice little beach is right across the street.

Nightlife is a short walk away but it isn’t so close that it keeps you up at night. The rooms are super comfortable so you will feel well rested and you do not hear your neighbours throughout the night. The rooms have been recently renovated so the hotel feels brand new.

This hotel was faultless. Super comfy, amazing location, really quiet, staff were fab and always smiling. No mad rush for sunbeds either!! The atmosphere and vibe was lovely, very chilled out. My 14 year old daughter and I had a perfect stay here, we will certainly return. Thank you Bellamar, you were amazing.

Had an amazing week here in July. Cannot fault the hotel, rooms, food, service were amazing. Always a sunbed by the pool and the location was perfect, in the centre of the bay so far enough away from the town to be a quiet location but a nice walk in if you want the nightlife.

Wonderful hotel with recently refurbished rooms. In a great location away from all the loud bars, yet within easy walking distance. The pool area is the perfect size and there was never a problem getting a sunlounger (or two). The breakfast options were vast and delicious. Everyone who works there are very friendly.

Lovely hotel! Such friendly and helpful staff, great range of food for breakfast. In a perfect location right next to the beach, my partner and I loved our stay here, would definitely recommend it if you’re planning on going to Ibiza.
Very clean throughout the hotel and an amazing place to have a nice break away, you can’t hear any of the noise of the partying when in your room either which was great.

Very clean hotel.
Food was lovely and wife range of food to eat from. It is 7.30pm til 10pm, in October it is 7pm til 9.30pm .
Breakfast is 8am til 10.30am. And staff pack up for 10.30am.
Quiet location, entertainment at hotel twice a week.
Gym doesn't open until 9am so unfortunately didn't get to use. However enjoyed early morning runs along the beach.

The hotel is a traditional, upscale beach hotel in Sant Antonio de Portmany with character and chic! - Still quite affordable! You even have a nice view (of the sea) from the balcony if it is not directly on the sea side. The hotel is just a minute's walk from the sea. There is also a medium-sized pool with a beautiful view of the sea. The team at reception is dedicated and friendly. Dinner at the hotel restaurant is great - fresh, varied and beautifully presented, there are also some vegetarian dishes and very good local wine (we especially liked the white René Barbier). The air conditioning in the rooms works perfectly. There are only a few little things and details that don't fit: There are no hooks for clothes in the rooms, no handkerchiefs in the bathroom and the towel change system doesn't really work, tea and co are not refilled in the room, there are a bit few sockets. Unfortunately, it is also absolutely forbidden (you are monitored) to take small things (such as sandwiches) from breakfast that you can't finish. Apart from that, a stay is highly recommended!

We had a lovely 1 week break at the Bellamar Hotel, which was excellent. It is located just across the road from the beach and is central to San Antonio Bay, with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, and nightlife within easy walking distance.
The hotel is classical in style, open, and spacious and is cleaned to a very high standard, with rooms being provided with clean towels and bed linen every day.
Dining is half board, but lunches can be ordered from the pool bar. Breakfast and evening meals are varied and cater for most tastes, with a fairly good selection of courses.
Some entertainment is provided in the evening at the outdoor area by the pool, but consists mainly of one or two performers singing. There aren't any daytime activities provided by a hotel entertainment team, so most people just sunbathe around the pool or whirlpool. Drinks are available by waiter service from the pool bar.
The hotel is equipped with a free gym, and there is a spa available at an extra cost, although we didn't use them.
There is a room where luggage can be kept, which has changing and shower facilities for late pickups.
The staff were very friendly and were happy to help in any way.
The hotel, whilst being a little dated, is more than compensated by its many redeeming features, and I would recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel... Nicely furnished rooms but with firm beds (mattress topper available from reception). Rooms cleaned every day to a high standard.
All the staff are friendly and polite with nothing being too much problem.
The food was very good with loads of choice. 4 or 5 different choices every night. Breakfast was also good.
Pool area is busy but never overcrowded.
Would definitely stay at the Bellamar again.
