Perfect location, walkinh distance from Chamartin train station.
The breakfast was really good and location, sadly the hotel is a bit tired. The room ok ( although the floor uneven) the beds were terrible, I had to sleep on the floor because we have arrived very late and we thought all the beds were the same so what was the point of saying anything. In fact in Reception we were told they were but we found out the day after it was not the case. One of the beds was...
The location of this hotel is very good, close to the train station, but this hotel is relatively old, especially its bed is very uncomfortable, the breakfast is average.
The location is very good, close to the terminal station. The room was clean and had a bathtub with hot water. I would like to come again.
It was great because it was very close to the Chamartín line and away from the noise and dust of the construction work at Chamartín Station. The breakfast was very good, and there was always something for everyone, so you didn't want for anything. The buffet was very good, and one of the receptionists was especially friendly. The pool was great, and the rooms were very comfortable. Plus, the windows...
The hotel is Clean and the staff’s is very attentive and the morning breakfast lack off variety but taste is good .

Hoping that they will improve about the wall that they have
Clean hotel, friendly staff, and good location. The only downside is that soundproofing isn’t good.
concierge helped us book a cab last minute to the airport because we couldnt find one in the city. facilities were minimal, good enough for our stay. walkable distance to other attractions.
concierge was helpful in finding a last minute cab to the airport. four pax with four luggages was hard to find a cab. apart from that hotel is walkable distance to all the attractions
Short trip to Spain for family wedding. The hotel was situated in the perfect location. Not too far from areas to visit. Bus and subway are walking distance from the hotel. Our room was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. The beds are comfortable and the room had enough space for us. No complaints, we loved it a lot. I definitely recommend this hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were in Madrid for three nights over the weekend and the hotel made a great base to explore the city. The transport links are good, both Metro and a large number of busses pass through Puerta de Toledo. The staff were very helpful and friendly, we checked in slightly early but still managed to get into the room as it was ready which was a great help. The...

I stayed at Hotel Gran Via during a girls’ trip to Madrid with my friend, and the location truly could not be better. The hotel sits right on the bustling Gran Via street, which is one of the liveliest areas in the city. As soon as you step outside, there are countless restaurants, cafés, and shops all around you. It felt vibrant, energetic, and very safe to walk around even in the evenings. One of...
This was our first hotel on our Europe trip and it was lovely! The rooms were very clean, modern, and everything worked. We could see beautiful architecture from our window. The rainfall shower was lovely - and tall friendly! The lobby is always staffed and feels very secure. The location was the best part. It felt like we were a 15-20 walk in any direction from everything we wanted to see in Madrid...
The location is ideally situated near a variety of sites, shopping districts, and vibrant activities. Though the street is bustling with heavy traffic, it pulses with the unmistakable energy of Madrid. The hotel itself is well-organized and spotlessly clean. While my friends had an unusual experience with a window nearly coming loose from its frame, the staff responded swiftly, and the matter was promptly...
Good hotel in the center. A bit loud. Excellent breakfast
Excellent place to stay and explore the city. Comfortable suites and good office venues.
Stayed at this hotel for close to a week where we had internal meetings. Clean rooms, decent breakfast. Place is conveniently located in the center of attractions making it accessible. Highly recommended if you want convenience and decent food and lodging.

The hotel is located on Gran Via, a lively and convenient spot with many restaurants and shops nearby, making it a great place for shopping. Two days in a row, the hotel staff knocked on our door and then entered our room on their own, startling us all awake. The staff offered no apology, something we'd never experienced before. Finally, we complained to the front desk, and they simply told us to...
This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Madrid. It's incredibly convenient, located right off Gran Via. When I'm tired, I can quickly head back to the hotel to rest. Plus, the front desk staff speaks excellent English.
Great value hotel. Lovely room. Great location. Definitely recommend Definitely would stay again.
The hotel is very central located. Not cheap for solo room. my room had no view (no sunlight) but the alleys of the building. No central heating in the room but there was an air conditioner. There was a construction in the hotel with alot of disturbing sounds. You can’t have a nap in the afternoon. Raoul or Rafael a new employee there was very nice customer service person. Lovely, welcoming and helpful
Hotel very well located, with very spacious facilities and very comfortable rooms. They gave me a room on a high floor and it was quiet, a detail that is appreciated. Check-in is usually from 12:00 onwards, which is also very important. I will stay again.
Great location and helpful staff. Rooms are very basic and you can hear a lot of noise from others in the corridors. Would avoid if a light sleeper. Good for one night, no frills.

Even though this is a 3-star hotel, the service and breakfast are better than some 4-star hotels. The hotel's location is also very close to many attractions. I highly recommend staying here!
Good location.  Next to Madrid Palace.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Amazing Stay at Hotel Príncipe Pío!** We had such a wonderful experience at Hotel Príncipe Pío. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and understanding. On our first stay (4 nights), they even gave us a room with a beautiful view of the Royal Palace without us asking — such a lovely surprise! After visiting Barcelona, we chose to come back and stay here again, and it truly felt...
Stayed in a junior suite which was very spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed (although no coffee in room). Location was superb, just across from the palace. Staff were superb and helped us sort out the taxi to the airport that I had booked for the wrong time! Bar was lovely and comfortable and bartender offered superb service.
The hotel has a great location and it is near the city center. The room and bathroom were big and clean. Breakfast was great. The room contains a safe and a refrigerator. The bed was comfy. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel has luggage storage where you can leave your luggage before the trip.
The location of the hotel is fantastic! It is within walking distance of the royal palace, gran via and lots more. We walked everywhere as it was so easy. There are two metro stations very close by too. The room was ready when we got there, and check in was very straightforward and quick. Pros: 5 minutes walk from Metro Station Berajas, 20 minutes walk from hotel to Terminal 2 departure hall. Safe neighborhood. Very helpful, friendly and English speaking staffs. Lots of local restaurants nearby and open until midnight. Cons: Room a bit small and dated. But perfectly ok for a late arrival or early morning departure flights.
I’m here just to say thanks for Rafael in reception, it was amazing and super attention with me. The hotel is in a excellent place very close to Barajas Station (1 stop until T4 in airport, 2 stops T3 and almost seven stops until “Colombia” near Santiago Bernabéu)… good!
The service in this hotel was amazing, the staff was always kind and open to help, the location is perfect, close to the airport, train station at two blocks away, nice and safe neighborhood, restaurants and bars around, really good experience!!!
I was there for two nights and the hotel served it's purpose (close to the airport and Madrid underground/train system). I was into the city centre within 30 minutes. Would use again.
Better than expected. Convenient to the airport. It took me approximately 15 minutes by subway to T4 (door to door). Walking itself to the station took me 4 minutes. There is also a bus stop across that can take you to the airport. In muy opinion, no need to uber unless you have lots of luggage. The place was quiet, clean and with appropriate A/C for Madrid hot temperature. Staff was nice and professional...
A great place, affordable, comfortable and 350mt from the Metro for access to the airport. Close to shops, restaurants, bars. Clean and comfortable. The young lady on the door during our stay was friendly and very helpful. Do yourself a favour, stay here! You won't regret it

The hotel was okay but I didn’t like the room. It was like a basement and you couldn’t see anything outside. The breakfast was good with a lot of options. You might want to take the hotel shuttle bus for convenience and cost saving. The reception staff were not friendly compared...
very good value. service and staff was also great. very happy with our stay here and would stay again! the room was in excellent condition. just be aware that it's still a decent distance away from the airport itself, but there are easy public transportation options (or Uber/taxi) to get to the airport for your flight. very happy with this hotel overall!
I have stayed here 3 times prior to this and always had a good experience. This time, the experience was even better, just excellent all around. This past Friday, I had a long overnight layover in Madrid and had booked a single night just to have a place to rest and sleep a bit before returning to the airport. Very nicely appointed and comfortable hotel. The breakfast was good and the restaurant served excellent food. The shuttle was timely and the price was good. I arrived late on my first day in Madrid and only stayed for a short while. It's far from the city center, and it's a bit out of the way for parking, so the parking is complicated. It's not in the main building, but in a separate building next door, and it's underground, which is scary and annoying. And they don't charge a separate parking fee. When I went in, the entrance was blocked by a metal gate...
The room was a bit small, but the environment was great, and the subway and bus stops nearby were very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel; I'll definitely come back again if I have the chance!
We had a really good experience with this place. The personnel was nice and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, while the location was great for us, situated pretty close to metro stations. The cleaning service was also very good, doing its job every single day. It wasn't cheap, but I would say that it's worth it!
Small rooms but clean. CAREFUL with id cards don't forget to ask for it back. I had to pay to get mine back. Location is great ambiance restaurants .
Pros: * superb breakfast, * very friendly reception staff, * clean room, * access to the swimming pool, * large washroom, * convenient location (two metro stations nearby). Cons: * central air conditioning was not working strongly enough in hot July (it was hard to sleep in the hot room), * kind of outdated and worn out furniture in the room.
Absolutely excellent hotel in the outskirts of central Madrid. Clean and comfortable at a decent price. Has a pool but it's not always open to hotel guests.

Everything was good, except for the thin duvet and the inability to freely control the air conditioning temperature!
Really nice hotel on the outskirts of Madrid. We stayed here for one night for a slightly extended stopover in Madrid. It's very reasonably priced for what you get and only takes about 20mins to get to the airport by uber. Room was clean and spacious and, staff were friendly, can't ask for more.
The room was decent, suitable for a business layover. The hotel only offers breakfast; for lunch and dinner, you need to order from outside. You'll also need to buy bottled water from the vending machine downstairs.
Very bad location it's far from everything but the rooms are nice
Would be nice if they put kettle in the room so you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea.

I was there for two nights to see a show with my husband and my in-laws. I did not get the expected standard room upon arrival. I got an interior room with three beds. Be ready to carry up your suitcases about 6-7 steps to get to the lobby. There is a side chair for those in a wheelchair. Also, don't be fooled by the complimentary water in the fridge. Perfectly located, room spacious and comfortable, the only thing to keep in mind is the air conditioner is controlled by the hotel, not by the guest, it was very uncomfortable to sleep in a warm room. The front desk staff tried to accommodate us, changed our room, and didn't improve much. They suggested a fan, which we accepted, making it more bearable to sleep. Otherwise, it'd have been perfect

Stayed here for a couple of days and had a great experience. The location is perfect, the service was excellent, and it offered great value for money. The highlight was definitely the bar and restaurant. Dinner was outstanding, with high-quality food and a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic, plenty of options to suit everyone, and all members of my family really enjoyed it

Great location next to Metro ! Travel to City Centre only 10 mins .  Room is spacious, cleaned!
Right next to a metro station. Clean and modern room. Good breakfast.
Great location just above a subway station, double layered window to prevent road traffic noise, helpful staff. Bartender recommended good drink. Quite spacious room. Washroom nice and clean. Generally good impression, compared to other similarly priced hotel in Paris, Lisbon and Barcelona during this trip.
Very nice hotel in the heart of Madrid, clean, accessible and generally awesome.
The hotel is rather old, but its advantage lies in its proximity to the subway station. There are no kettles or similar amenities in the rooms; you have to ask the front desk for them.

This is a good option for a budget traveler. As long as you don’t get the room with one window facing a wall (if you do, simply ask to switch, upgraded rooms are also inexpensive) then with new light in the room from a balcony that is facing the park or the city you will be fine. We visited Madrid in December and we would definitely return and stay here. The location is across the street from shopping, the Metro and a train station making it easy to access other parts of the city. We walked to most attractions in the city center from here. The Royal Palace is very close. The balcony room faced the river and gave a beautiful view. Clean and comfortable for my husband and me...
The bathroom drain smelled terrible, and the bedding had a strong, cheap laundry detergent odor. Combined, it was impossible to breathe without opening the window. Choose carefully.
The location is extremely advantageous, with a supermarket next door and several highly-rated restaurants nearby. It is only two or three hundred meters from the station, and the Royal Palace of Madrid is a 20-minute walk away.
I will not stay at this hotel again. I stayed one night, which was plenty. The main issue with this hotel is that the walls are extremely thin. I could hear all of my neighbors, even though they were speaking in regular conversational voices. Additionally, the door handles are very loose, resulting in me feeling like my belongings were not that safe inside my room.
