Rooms are quite small when compared to the price, but staff are super friendly. Breakfast is just definitely not worth the money at all. Hotel is pretty OK all around, food for business trips.
For example, my door cannot be closed without force (after gently closing it, it sounds like it is closed, but as long as I push it hard, it will not close)
It is a nice & clean hotel. Walking distance from the train station and Bernabeu stadium. Very good option to stay in after watching a late football match.
Booked this hotel for Taylor Swift's concert. There are plenty of breakfast options. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Bernabeu. The public security nearby is also good. It's no problem to walk back at night
The room is clean and tidy, the service is warm and thoughtful, and it is not far from the Bernabéu, which is quite convenient. It is more suitable for business travel
Facilities: relatively new
Hygiene: clean and tidy
Environment: close to the business district
Service: warm and thoughtful

The room was very spacious and clean, making for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was also very generous and well-suited for Chinese tastes. With a long breakfast service, it was easy to manage our meal times effectively.
Stayed here for one night during a layover. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to all terminals at Madrid Airport, which is very convenient, taking about 15 minutes to reach T4. The hotel itself is quite large
It's a bit far from the city center though
Staying overnight for a layover at Madrid Airport, this Marriott was an excellent choice. Unlike most hotels in Europe that only allow check-in in the afternoon, this one generally has a flexible policy
They even prepared a breakfast bag for us since we had an early flight and couldn't make breakfast. The hotel has a good number of rooms, and the dining and fitness facilities are all comprehensive
There's a free shuttle service to and from the airport and a nearby shopping mall; no reservation needed, just queue up and hop on. The pickup point at the airport's Terminal 1 is opposite gate 14

The hotel and the hotel room were immaculate. The staff were very kind and welcoming
The whole place is very clean, and it's super close to the airport. There's a supermarket right next to the hotel, so shopping is really convenient. Lots of airline crews stay here too, which makes getting around easy
I was assigned a street-facing room, and it was incredibly loud. People outside were talking, chatting, and laughing non-stop throughout the entire night.
Frequent business traveler and this is my go-to hotel in Madrid. The entrance is odd and there are often groups, but the hotel itself is excellent
Would highly recommend this hotel. Easy to get to and from airport on the metro, which is only 7 min walk from the hotel
Lovely staff… I hope you meet Yuri! Lovely spacious room with a king size bed and a fold out bed for my daughter. Very clean bedroom and bathroom
Room is kept spotless and I enjoyed the view and the balcony
There are loads of restaurants under the hotel and massage shop is also very professional!
All good and beautiful!
It snowed down for about half an hour on the day!
Gracias!
Airport shuttle service is very punctual. The shuttle schedule is as advertised.
Excellent bathroom facilities. Their in-house restaurant also serves great beer on tap and the ramen is quite nice as well.
Free shuttle bus from the airport. €5 per person to go back to the airport from the hotel with the earliest shuttle at 5am. Good enough to spend over night stay
Hotel was very good. The only point is the airport shuttle, it wasn't clear where it is so had to take taxi
The only negatives are that the check-in procedure is unreasonably long, and there were large tour groups that were making a lot of noise in the corridor, and were leaving all at once with loads of luggage occupying all available lifts
Also, very oddly there weren't any USB plugs in the room. The bar fridge wasn't working, but they promptly sent a technician to fix it
The hotel even boasts a rooftop pool, perfect for some stylish photos! The only slight difference I noticed was the elevator system; after swiping your room card and selecting your floor, the system tells you which specific elevator to wait for
Right downstairs is Plaza de España, featuring statues of Cervantes, Don Quixote, and Sancho Panza. **Great Amenities & Cleanliness**: The hotel is very well-maintained, clean, and spacious
It's also very close to the Royal Palace of Madrid, about a 10-minute walk. Within a 300-meter radius, you'll find plenty of restaurants, Chinese eateries, and a Dia supermarket
**Excellent for Shopping & Sightseeing**: The hotel is situated at one end of Gran Via, making it super easy to explore. You can then hop on the free 001 bus to get back
It felt a bit unusual at first, but you quickly get used to it after a few uses. **Excellent Service**: The hotel staff provides great service, especially the doorman
Seriously, no exaggeration – you exit the Plaza de España station (line 10), take the 'Princesa' exit, and the hotel entrance is literally just 20 meters away

The hotel's location, facilities, rooms, and amenities are all perfect
The service level is generally good, although a few staff members fall short (some servers aren't as considerate, for example, their attitude when clearing plates at breakfast isn't very friendly, and their English isn't great)
Only thing was that the reception and concierge weren’t the most friendly / empathetic to our concerns about finding alternative routes when our trains got cancelled and we were trying to ask them for help with it
The room decor was high quality, I especially loved the wallpaper and tiles. The staff were friendly and attentive
My wife and I stayed for one night while touring Madrid. Gorgeous historic building within walking distance of a lot of great spots. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Massive shower! Comfy bed and sheets
Room itself and location were fantastic. Spotless, tidy, well equipped. Very walkable to all main attractions

The newly renovated rooms are much more comfortable than before, and they still provide a kettle and disposable slippers. However, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and other toiletries
Drawbacks: I'm not sure if some rooms are still under renovation, but there was noticeable drilling noise during the day, which could be quite disruptive for anyone wanting to sleep in
Other highlights: The gym facilities are comprehensive and new, and the Western-style breakfast buffet offers a fantastic variety. The lobby staff are also very friendly and helpful
Also, room cleaning can be quite late (one day, my room still hadn't been cleaned when I returned after 3 PM)
The rooms are big, beautifully decorated, the bathroom was big, and the location is amazing… right next to Gran Via, but far enough to not hear and feel the buzz and noise. I’d definitely stay again here
Nice hotel, a little dusty but ignorable
Near to metro and pretty okay breakfast selection and churros!

What really stands out is the excellent customer service. I highly recommend staying here
Straight out of the train station with direct access to all transport. Can access the city easily and there are shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself has restaurants and access to hot drinks
The hotel was clean and the staff cleaned my room every day. I was satisfied.
This hotel boasts a beautiful environment and is conveniently located with easy access to transportation. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the facilities are quite modern
Two minute walk to Chamartin train and subway stations. The breakfast is ok. Quiet room, cleanliness ok. Convenient if you require to catch an early train.
Very well connected with the city via the subway and buses, large selection of breakfast, and comfortable rooms. No complaints and very quiet at night, despite the station being right there
Madrid, Calle del Padre Damian, 23 (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Considering the high price, the rooms are spacious! Clean! There's even a bathtub so you can take a bath. Considering you're paying for peace of mind, this hotel offers good value for money, including its location
The subway station is right next to it, so you can travel to the Royal Palace and Reina Sofia Museum with just one train ride (you need to purchase a special card at the ticket gate)
The tourist centers of Atocha and Sola are a quick taxi ride away, and the Santiago Bernabeu is just a few minutes' walk away, so it's in a great location
Welcoming, relaxed and excellent amenities. Great breakfast.
A very good service was provided by this hotel. The rooms were very neat and modern as well as the rest of the hotel’s facilities. The location is excellent for travelers in Madrid

From the moment we arrived, we were delighted to be upgraded to a beautiful suite with full access to the Club Lounge, an unexpected and very generous surprise that immediately set the tone for our stay
I was expecting a slightly bigger room or bathroom and did not expect the suite-like room (we were in 406)! It was such a wonderful surprise walking in to a luxurious room after a one-month long backpacking trip across Europe
It was such a lovely touch and made the celebration feel genuinely special. The service throughout was warm, attentive and professional, and the Club Lounge was a real highlight
From the complimentary water, handwritten note, and even the personalized welcome message on the TV! I also loved how the bathroom was supplied with actual toiletries! The best part is the enormous bed and great ventilation in the room and restroom
The staff weee quite helpful, the food was exceptional. My kid, took part in the cooking class, they had great fun. We got a cocktail, where the barman showed us how to make it. Overall my experience was exceptional
Although the hotel is a bit old-fashioned, it's clean, tidy, and has a warm, festive Christmas atmosphere. The front desk and lobby staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly
Our check in experience was great and every staff member was courteous and friendly. William and Patricia were particularly exceptional in answering our questions and providing advice
Nice, clean and SIMPLE hotel rooms, so don't expect detail, elegance, luxury or "cosy". Even the better rooms are just rooms, bed, desk, chair, lights
Nice bathroom!
Now, View was spectacular from a specific room, and amenities are really great. Gym doesn't have a tower or chinup/pullup/dip capability. Pool is indoor so all weather conditions
Very impressive actually, with a view. Service was great!
Coffee shockingly BAD
great hotel with amazing city view, would go again, thank you!
I would give 10/10 to this hotel i stayed 6 nights clean , nice smell , excellent house keeping service, excellent staff, excellent location just few steps to gran via and lots of restaurants, cafes, shopping , metro and bus station infront of the hotel , royal palace withen walking distance , park infront of the hotel with daily activities like DJ and outdoor cinema excellent facilities gym, sauna...
It would be much nicer if the price was just a bit higher and included the spa, so guests wouldn’t have that awkward surprise. After all, the name does say “Hotel Wellington Hotel & SPA,” right?
Super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast with lots of choices, and the location is perfect — everything’s within walking distance. The only disappointment was the SPA
The hotel name and even ******* advertise it as a “Hotel & SPA,” but it turns out you have to pay extra to use it
We been at the Wellington Hotel for the Le Max Spa, and everything went quite well
The hotel felt really luxurious, it felt like I was at the Plaza.
Everything was perfect. The staff in particular. Kind. Friendly. There is real human soul in this lovely hotel. I ebjoyed every moment i spent there.

Breakfasts are amazing and will easily accommodate celiacs. Pool area is not very big but it is pretty pretty awesome. The staff was wonderful, and I mean the whole staff, whoever we've dealt with
Facilities: Beautiful and new; I loved the hotel's futuristic/space-themed design, and the bedding was very comfortable. Environment: Great location, convenient transportation. I really liked the pure white decor
There's a restaurant downstairs, which is convenient for meetings
Great hotel , very modern easy to get to €18 fro train station , 3 min walk to metro. 10-15 mins into town. Or 5 in taxi. Only thing was lots Xmas parties private events so top floor bars where closed
It ended up still being impossible to shower safely, so they brought a shower wheelchair which unfortunately couldn't fit into the (very narrow) shower area. The staff were very helpful and warm

The room is clean, I haven't seen such cleanliness for a long time. The heated towel rail in the bathroom is hot - I was able to dry all my things. Very comfortable bed! Clean linen!
I really liked it!
At the recommendation of QATAR Business Class Cabin crew, I decided to give this hotel a go during my recent transit in Madrid. The hotel is conveniently located just 10 minutes (by car) from Madrid International airport
The hotel provides free shuttle van service to and from airport for hotel guests. The studio that I checked-in to is nicely laid-out and functional. The front desk team is ever friendly and ready to assist
I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious and qualitative seasonal chef’s specials menu on offer during the period of my stay
Not to forget the F&B team led by Javier - whom I counted on for memorable dining experience at the in-house restaurant
Special mention to Martina, Martha and Alba - who walked the extra mile to make my stay there ever more comfortable

We stayed here on the last night of our trip because our apartment that we had rented for the week was just pretty lousy and wanted to just have a comfortable night close to the airport on our last night, and this ended up being absolutely perfect
We had a suite, and it was really spacious — perfect for families, as our daughter had her own separate room. There’s a minibar, great room service, and a lovely bathroom
Rooms were modern and clean, and bed was comfortable! Free shuttle to and from the airport which made it very convenient.
That was really important to because I was feeling really anxious going into it coming from our previous day which was not very good
A fantastic hotel! We were traveling with a lot of luggage and planned a side trip to Granada, and the hotel kindly offered to store our bags at no extra charge — an unexpected and much-appreciated gesture
We walked into our room and just let out a sigh because it was so nice

The bath was very cleaned and the room was very nice! The breakfast was the top of this adventure! So much diversity of fruits and food. I really enjoyed the breakfast
Great location , super nice staff . Good breakfast , everything was spot on . Will stay there again
Property is clean with nice breakfast choices. Hotel staff are professionals and helpful. There are a few restaurants around the hotel areas. But you need to take taxi to go to central. Enjoy our stays!
Before we checked- out we asked if we could leave our baggages in the hotel, they said yes, that was so nice. I slept so good, I ate too fabulous and I fell like home!
I really recommend that hotel!
Lovely stay
We only stayed one night but the hotel was lovely. The bathroom had a big tub we didn’t get to use but the kids (and myself) would definitely love if we had more time.
This property was perfect and conventiently located to many areas of interest in town. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Every place is near by at walking distance. I hardly used any uber or taxi. They have indoor clean pool as well. And the lounge area is perfect to come and relax after one's day of roaming in the city
A downside is the swimming pool: children are not allowed, which was not mentioned at the time of booking. There are also quite a lot of rules, which takes away some of the enjoyment
We upgraded our room and took full advantage of the free breakfast and daily tapas in The Level lounge—an absolute game-changer with kids. It meant fewer frantic restaurant searches and more time relaxing
The pool is stylish and peaceful, but it’s not super kid-friendly—limited to six people at a time and requires a reservation, so we only used it once
The location was ideal, allowing us to easily walk to many of the city’s most iconic sights. The standard of hospitality here was so high that none of the other hotels we stayed at during our trip could compare
This hotel set the tone for our trip in the best possible way. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though we were being welcomed like VIPs even after a long travel day when we weren’t at our best

Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only small downside was the room ambience lighting felt a little too dim at times
We stayed at The Madrid Edition while celebrating my friend’s 40th birthday in Spain, and it was the perfect choice for the trip. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special and well thought out
The hotel sits right in the middle of the city, making it extremely convenient to walk to restaurants, bars, and shopping areas. It made exploring Madrid effortless. What truly stood out was the staff
Best bathroom of a hotel I've stayed un Europe. Rooms are spacious and the hotel in general is a high standard 5 star hotel. The location is in the heart of Madrid, close to every single attraction
This hotel features a stylish design and an excellent location, right in the heart of the old town. It's conveniently close to many attractions, making it very easy to explore the city
The hotel kindly surprised us with complimentary cava and a birthday cake, which was such a lovely touch and made the celebration even more memorable

Good hotel with four stars.Exposure raritetnyh sports cars in the lobby and very accommodating staff.
Everything was great, the rooms were clean and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it.
great 4* hotel, the rooms were pleasant, cleaned daily with fresh towels. The safe was free and the room included a kettle with complimentary tea/coffee
A small pool area was available at limited times during the say, a roof top terrace stayed open 24 hours, however no sun loungers, but a great spot in the late evening for a drink, food or a chat
Well, the room is okay, it has a moth repellent that they should use after guests arrive, not when there's a customer present, and the TV, which is the most important thing for checking for hairs or anything, only worked intermittently 😢
5 star for the location...rooms are decent but functional and clean. The rooftop view is awesome...especially if u managed to catch the sunset. When we were there in late november, rooftop opens at 6pm.
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. The hotel staff was friendly and allowed us to check in several hours early
I booked the hotel based on reviews and wasn't disappointed. Great location, decent breakfast, vintage classic interior. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride to the airport. We were happy with everything
Everything about the experience was absolutely perfect, from the elegant setting to the incredible staff who made the day flow seamlessly. A very special thank you to Carlota, Javi and Sheylla who were truly exceptional
It's also very well located in Gran Via, a very tourist area, with many people and with stores and restaurantes being open until late at the night
The location is great, everything is within walking distance. The hotel has a great rooftop bar, and a pool. The room was spacious, and clean. The staff was super friendly and very helpful
