Madrid, Calle del Poeta Joan Maragall, 43 (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It is a nice & clean hotel. Walking distance from the train station and Bernabeu stadium. Very good option to stay in after watching a late football match.
The breakfast was very rich and varied.
Rooms are quite small when compared to the price, but staff are super friendly. Breakfast is just definitely not worth the money at all. Hotel is pretty OK all around, food for business trips.

Facilities: Very nice and new, near a high-end hotel.
Service: The front desk spoke good English and was very quick.
Environment: The environment was very nice, and the hotel's decor was very upscale and elegant.
Cleanliness: Cleaned daily.
Breakfast: Very good, delicious, and plentiful.
However, there were unexplained deductions.
Excellent hotel, wonderful food, so clean, staff very helpful & friendly…would highly recommend…the breakfast was amazing!

Stayed here for one night during a layover. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to all terminals at Madrid Airport, which is very convenient, taking about 15 minutes to reach T4. The hotel itself is quite large. It's a bit far from the city center though.
Staying overnight for a layover at Madrid Airport, this Marriott was an excellent choice. Unlike most hotels in Europe that only allow check-in in the afternoon, this one generally has a flexible policy. We arrived on an early flight, got to the hotel just past 9 AM, and they happily arranged for us to check in. The service attitude was also great. All the Marriott member benefits were provided, and...
Good hotel, clean and lots of space. Hotel shuttle pickup and shuttle times were not on the official site which was annoying, but I've attached the current schedule.
Close to the airport, the room is quite spacious, with a free shuttle and free parking. That's enough for me.
The room was very spacious and clean, making for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was also very generous and well-suited for Chinese tastes. With a long breakfast service, it was easy to manage our meal times effectively.
Location: Not far from the airport, about a 30-minute drive. There are no subway stations nearby. If you're heading into the city, you can consider taking the HOTEL BUS to the airport and then transferring to the subway or train.
Price: Not expensive. I booked three days in advance and it was over budget, but then I saw the price dropped in the evening, so I decisively canceled and rebooked.

The whole place is very clean, and it's super close to the airport. There's a supermarket right next to the hotel, so shopping is really convenient. Lots of airline crews stay here too, which makes getting around easy. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants in the alley across the street that I'd recommend checking out.
Dated. Noisy room facing the street. Service was just okay.
Frequent business traveler and this is my go-to hotel in Madrid. The entrance is odd and there are often groups, but the hotel itself is excellent. Spacious, clean rooms, a convenient location, and a great breakfast that makes early mornings easier. Solid choice for work trips.
Best Novotel experience hotel.
Highly recommend for family.
Rooms are average size. Good for 2+1.
They have gift packs to keeps kids busy.
Service staff is friendly and helpful.
The rooms by the road are very noisy. It is difficult to sleep. I recommend avoiding the odd numbers on the street side. The hotel has good location close to the Movistar arena, El Retiro and the Prado. Breakfast is really good.
Would highly recommend this hotel. Well located. Easy to get to and from airport on the metro, which is only 7 min walk from the hotel. Lovely food and cocktails. Lovely staff… I hope you meet Yuri! Lovely spacious room with a king size bed and a fold out bed for my daughter. Very clean bedroom and bathroom. I hope to return

Staff are super friendly.
Room is kept spotless and I enjoyed the view and the balcony
There are loads of restaurants under the hotel and massage shop is also very professional!
All good and beautiful!
It snowed down for about half an hour on the day!
Gracias!
Hotel was very good. The only point is the airport shuttle, it wasn't clear where it is so had to take taxi
Airport shuttle service is very punctual. The shuttle schedule is as advertised.
Excellent bathroom facilities. Their in-house restaurant also serves great beer on tap and the ramen is quite nice as well.
Free shuttle bus from the airport. €5 per person to go back to the airport from the hotel with the earliest shuttle at 5am.
Good enough to spend over night stay. Pizza restaurant on the ground floor wad so good! True italian styled!
A very decent hotel within a short taxi/uber ride to the airport. There are a supermarket and a few restaurants with 10 minute walk. The neighbourhood is clean and safe. The only negatives are that the check-in procedure is unreasonably long, and there were large tour groups that were making a lot of noise in the corridor, and were leaving all at once with loads of luggage occupying all available lifts...
Poor customer service they do not answer the phone when we tried to call them. It is impossible to talk to the front desk unless you are there in person in front of them

The location is fantastic, right across from the main square. The night views are also great!
I stayed here for 3 nights in a row and highly recommend it to others for a few reasons:
1. **Fantastic Location for Transport**: It's incredibly close to the metro. Seriously, no exaggeration – you exit the Plaza de España station (line 10), take the 'Princesa' exit, and the hotel entrance is literally just 20 meters away. Super convenient!
2. **Excellent for Shopping & Sightseeing**: The hotel...
Great location and the rooftop bar is beautiful. However, the service is really subpar. Every time I tried to call customer service, I had to wait a long time, and it took ages for housekeeping to arrive. The gym is tiny and has very limited equipment. On the bright side, the breakfast was delicious.
Staying at this hotel second time and would probably stay here again when visiting Madrid. The location, amenities, breakfast and stuff are just TOP.
The view from the room just adds to it!
My husbands favorite thing here is breakfast
Mine is rooftop! Can sit there whole day!
Highly recommended! It's super convenient, with a metro station right outside the hotel, and you can walk to the Royal Palace of Madrid. Guests can go up to the rooftop for some great views. The bathroom was very new and clean. Breakfast was excellent, and the service was great. The front desk staff spoke good English, which made communication easy.
The room was spacious. No deposit was required for check-in. However, there were no slippers or toothbrushes in the room. Breakfast was plentiful.

We had a great stay in this fabulous hotel. Great location and fabulous service
The hotel's location, facilities, rooms, and amenities are all perfect. The service level is generally good, although a few staff members fall short (some servers aren't as considerate, for example, their attitude when clearing plates at breakfast isn't very friendly, and their English isn't great). Otherwise, an overall score of 4.8 or higher would be no problem.
Great location and breakfast was decent. However, the staff's service was really poor, and their attitude was terrible. Their English skills were also quite basic. They seemed to pick on those they perceived as weaker. It was quite amusing when their attitude completely changed and softened once they realized they couldn't argue with us in English.
Room itself and location were fantastic. Spotless, tidy, well equipped. Very walkable to all main attractions. Only thing was that the reception and concierge weren’t the most friendly / empathetic to our concerns about finding alternative routes when our trains got cancelled and we were trying to ask them for help with it.
The location is convenient and the room is decent, but the service was absolutely terrible – the worst we've encountered in Spain. The front desk staff avoided eye contact and had a very arrogant attitude. It wasn't until we voiced our complaints in English that their demeanor shifted, offering those fake European smiles, which was quite amusing in itself.
The room decor was high quality, I especially loved the wallpaper and tiles. The staff were friendly and attentive. The location was excellent. It was just a few minutes' walk from the Prado Museum, which meant I could go to the free evening sessions every day to see my favorite artworks.

Excellent Hotel, very attentive and good location.
The service was great, and the staff were all very enthusiastic. The view from the higher floors is excellent. I just hope they can upgrade the hairdryer.
They say traveling in Europe can be a real hassle, but this place really prioritizes safety! I didn't have to worry about anything getting lost. Plus, you don't even need a European adapter; your domestic chargers work fine! The breakfast selection was also excellent. My stay was super comfortable, and I had a great time!
A real 5* experience just outside of the center. Due to its location, often booked by conference or other groups, which gives the usual tourist guest a bit of an overwhelming feeling. The reception is understaffed to my opinion, expect to queue and wait your turn. Nothing about the service though, the whole team is very friendly and accommodating. Dining on the 30th floor with its amazing view is a...
The hotel is far from the city centre. It takes almost half an hour by UBER or taxi to arrive in the city centre. The area near the hotel has 4 tall towers, and a few minutes away is a little sunken area with a few restaurants and clothing shops, but no supermarket nearby. In the lobby of the hotel there were many visitors dressed in suits everyday for conventions. They often blocked us when we tried...
❗️ The door handles are very sharp metal, which I think would be dangerous in a slippery area like the bathroom, especially if you have children with you. I cannot imagine what gonna happen if someone slipped.❗️

The building gets older. And breakfast was simple and relatively low quality.
The hotel is in an excellent location. Lots of neighbourhood restaurants and cafes. Lidl is opposite. Busstop to town just outside. There's a big park close by.
No kettle in the room though. Only drawback for me
Convenient location and excellent service.
What a fantastic hotel for our first night in Spain! It definitely set a high bar, as none of the subsequent hotels we stayed in were as good. When I checked out, I accidentally left some luggage behind, and the staff were incredibly helpful, holding onto it for me until I could return from another city a few days later to collect it. A huge thank you again for their assistance!
Nice space, but the staff makes a lot of noise every morning when they go to clean the rooms.
We stayed in Madrid for one night as a layover for our connecting flight to Porto. As we arrived quite early in Madrid, around 11 AM, and check-in wasn't until 3 PM, we decided to ask if we could leave our bags at the hotel. This hotel boasts a beautiful environment and is conveniently located with easy access to transportation. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the facilities are quite modern. What really stands out is the excellent customer service. I highly recommend staying here.
Location: Near Metro going to airport and train station for regional trains but it is still at least 30mins from city centre. A lot of construction going outside the hotel so it looks a bit dirty. Not much food choices in the area.

Very good hotel right by the train station. If it wasn’t for the construction work around the station, it would be 5 stars for sure. Very well connected with the city via the subway and buses, large selection of breakfast, and comfortable rooms. No complaints and very quiet at night, despite the station being right there. Great option!
Two minute walk to Chamartin train and subway stations. The breakfast is ok. Quiet room, cleanliness ok. Convenient if you require to catch an early train.
Stayed at Hotel Chamartin The One (4⭐️) — overall an average experience. The room was quite small, and surprisingly there was no kettle for hot water, only two small bottles of water provided. A bit far from city centre but you can take bus or metro. Terribly slow lifts. Insensitive staff members told two large ladies to wait because the lift could not handle their weight. The location is pretty good, but the room is a bit small. We were traveling with two adults and one child, and it felt a little cramped. They only provided water on the first day of our stay, but the capsule coffee was replenished daily. Toothbrushes and slippers were provided upon request.
The room was spotless and well-equipped. The location is fantastic, only an 8-minute walk from Atocha Station, and very close to museums like the Prado and Reina Sofía. Major attractions such as Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and the Royal Palace are also within a comfortable 30-minute walk. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the hotel's breakfast buffet is excellent.

Decent hotel. Plenty of small problems though:
1. One hotel meal (out of our four) was awful. Our fish was cold in the middle. When we told the catering staff, they simply microwaved it and bought it back
