Madrid, Calle del Poeta Joan Maragall, 43 (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It is a nice & clean hotel. Walking distance from the train station and Bernabeu stadium. Very good option to stay in after watching a late football match.
The breakfast was very rich and varied.
Rooms are quite small when compared to the price, but staff are super friendly. Breakfast is just definitely not worth the money at all. Hotel is pretty OK all around, food for business trips.

Facilities: Very nice and new, near a high-end hotel.
Service: The front desk spoke good English and was very quick.
Environment: The environment was very nice, and the hotel's decor was very upscale and elegant.
Cleanliness: Cleaned daily.
Breakfast: Very good, delicious, and plentiful.
However, there were unexplained deductions.
Excellent hotel, wonderful food, so clean, staff very helpful & friendly…would highly recommend…the breakfast was amazing!

Stayed here for one night during a layover. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to all terminals at Madrid Airport, which is very convenient, taking about 15 minutes to reach T4. The hotel itself is quite large. It's a bit far from the city center though.
Staying overnight for a layover at Madrid Airport, this Marriott was an excellent choice. Unlike most hotels in Europe that only allow check-in in the afternoon, this one generally has a flexible policy. We arrived on an early flight, got to the hotel just past 9 AM, and they happily arranged for us to check in. The service attitude was also great. All the Marriott member benefits were provided, and...
Good hotel, clean and lots of space. Hotel shuttle pickup and shuttle times were not on the official site which was annoying, but I've attached the current schedule.
Close to the airport, the room is quite spacious, with a free shuttle and free parking. That's enough for me.
The room was very spacious and clean, making for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was also very generous and well-suited for Chinese tastes. With a long breakfast service, it was easy to manage our meal times effectively.
Location: Not far from the airport, about a 30-minute drive. There are no subway stations nearby. If you're heading into the city, you can consider taking the HOTEL BUS to the airport and then transferring to the subway or train.
Price: Not expensive. I booked three days in advance and it was over budget, but then I saw the price dropped in the evening, so I decisively canceled and rebooked.

The whole place is very clean, and it's super close to the airport. There's a supermarket right next to the hotel, so shopping is really convenient. Lots of airline crews stay here too, which makes getting around easy. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants in the alley across the street that I'd recommend checking out.
Dated. Noisy room facing the street. Service was just okay.
Frequent business traveler and this is my go-to hotel in Madrid. The entrance is odd and there are often groups, but the hotel itself is excellent. Spacious, clean rooms, a convenient location, and a great breakfast that makes early mornings easier. Solid choice for work trips.
Best Novotel experience hotel.
Highly recommend for family.
Rooms are average size. Good for 2+1.
They have gift packs to keeps kids busy.
Service staff is friendly and helpful.
The rooms by the road are very noisy. It is difficult to sleep. I recommend avoiding the odd numbers on the street side. The hotel has good location close to the Movistar arena, El Retiro and the Prado. Breakfast is really good.
Would highly recommend this hotel. Well located. Easy to get to and from airport on the metro, which is only 7 min walk from the hotel. Lovely food and cocktails. Lovely staff… I hope you meet Yuri! Lovely spacious room with a king size bed and a fold out bed for my daughter. Very clean bedroom and bathroom. I hope to return

Staff are super friendly.
Room is kept spotless and I enjoyed the view and the balcony
There are loads of restaurants under the hotel and massage shop is also very professional!
All good and beautiful!
It snowed down for about half an hour on the day!
Gracias!
Hotel was very good. The only point is the airport shuttle, it wasn't clear where it is so had to take taxi
Airport shuttle service is very punctual. The shuttle schedule is as advertised.
Excellent bathroom facilities. Their in-house restaurant also serves great beer on tap and the ramen is quite nice as well.
Free shuttle bus from the airport. €5 per person to go back to the airport from the hotel with the earliest shuttle at 5am.
Good enough to spend over night stay. Pizza restaurant on the ground floor wad so good! True italian styled!
A very decent hotel within a short taxi/uber ride to the airport. There are a supermarket and a few restaurants with 10 minute walk. The neighbourhood is clean and safe. The only negatives are that the check-in procedure is unreasonably long, and there were large tour groups that were making a lot of noise in the corridor, and were leaving all at once with loads of luggage occupying all available lifts...
Poor customer service they do not answer the phone when we tried to call them. It is impossible to talk to the front desk unless you are there in person in front of them

The location is fantastic, right across from the main square. The night views are also great!
I stayed here for 3 nights in a row and highly recommend it to others for a few reasons:
1. **Fantastic Location for Transport**: It's incredibly close to the metro. Seriously, no exaggeration – you exit the Plaza de España station (line 10), take the 'Princesa' exit, and the hotel entrance is literally just 20 meters away. Super convenient!
2. **Excellent for Shopping & Sightseeing**: The hotel...
Great location and the rooftop bar is beautiful. However, the service is really subpar. Every time I tried to call customer service, I had to wait a long time, and it took ages for housekeeping to arrive. The gym is tiny and has very limited equipment. On the bright side, the breakfast was delicious.
Staying at this hotel second time and would probably stay here again when visiting Madrid. The location, amenities, breakfast and stuff are just TOP.
The view from the room just adds to it!
My husbands favorite thing here is breakfast
Mine is rooftop! Can sit there whole day!
Highly recommended! It's super convenient, with a metro station right outside the hotel, and you can walk to the Royal Palace of Madrid. Guests can go up to the rooftop for some great views. The bathroom was very new and clean. Breakfast was excellent, and the service was great. The front desk staff spoke good English, which made communication easy.
The room was spacious. No deposit was required for check-in. However, there were no slippers or toothbrushes in the room. Breakfast was plentiful.

The building gets older. And breakfast was simple and relatively low quality.
The hotel is in an excellent location. Lots of neighbourhood restaurants and cafes. Lidl is opposite. Busstop to town just outside. There's a big park close by.
No kettle in the room though. Only drawback for me
Convenient location and excellent service.
What a fantastic hotel for our first night in Spain! It definitely set a high bar, as none of the subsequent hotels we stayed in were as good. When I checked out, I accidentally left some luggage behind, and the staff were incredibly helpful, holding onto it for me until I could return from another city a few days later to collect it. A huge thank you again for their assistance!
Nice space, but the staff makes a lot of noise every morning when they go to clean the rooms.
We stayed in Madrid for one night as a layover for our connecting flight to Porto. As we arrived quite early in Madrid, around 11 AM, and check-in wasn't until 3 PM, we decided to ask if we could leave our bags at the hotel. To our pleasant surprise, we were immediately assigned our rooms (two, in fact), which was a huge help for us to rest. This was excellent.

Nice hotel, a little dusty but ignorable
Near to metro and pretty okay breakfast selection and churros!
I've stayed here multiple times because the location is just unbeatable. El Corte Inglés is right next door, and it's super close to Plaza de España and Gran Vía. The newly renovated rooms are much more comfortable than before, and they still provide a kettle and disposable slippers. However, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and other toiletries.
Other highlights: The gym facilities are comprehensive...
The food is very good but hotel But the hotel asked us for money for every service.
Good location, everything available by walking distance.
Rooms are good value for money
Booked a two-bedroom suite, but it was just a connecting room. It's a standard five-star hotel, but nothing really stood out.

This hotel boasts a beautiful environment and is conveniently located with easy access to transportation. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the facilities are quite modern. What really stands out is the excellent customer service. I highly recommend staying here.
Location: Near Metro going to airport and train station for regional trains but it is still at least 30mins from city centre. A lot of construction going outside the hotel so it looks a bit dirty. Not much food choices in the area.
Room: Complementary water is given daily. No coffeemaker/kettle or free cofee/sachet in the room. I was reprimanded when I tried to use the mug to get hot water from the...
Very good hotel right by the train station. If it wasn’t for the construction work around the station, it would be 5 stars for sure. Very well connected with the city via the subway and buses, large selection of breakfast, and comfortable rooms. No complaints and very quiet at night, despite the station being right there. Great option!
Two minute walk to Chamartin train and subway stations. The breakfast is ok. Quiet room, cleanliness ok. Convenient if you require to catch an early train.
Stayed at Hotel Chamartin The One (4⭐️) — overall an average experience. The room was quite small, and surprisingly there was no kettle for hot water, only two small bottles of water provided. On the bright side, the room was clean and well-maintained. It’s fine for a short stay or transit, but could use a few more comforts to match its 4-star rating. PS : breakfast queue is very bad. Welcoming, relaxed and excellent amenities. Great breakfast.
We chose the hotel because it’s close to our friend’s house. The hotel is good, we wanted to try the spa, but it was not available during our stay.
The hotel is not far from the metro station, very accessible to go anyway. It's not in the city centre, but as mentioned very accessible. A bit far from city centre but you can take bus or metro. Terribly slow lifts. Insensitive staff members told two large ladies to wait because the lift could not handle their weight. Breakfast was the redeeming feature even though staff at egg station pulled a face when I said preferred my scrambled eggs to be cooked fresh rather than from the one that had been cooked earlier and kept warm
goood, very good, can’t go wrong. Will sure visit again next time.

The location is pretty good, but the room is a bit small. We were traveling with two adults and one child, and it felt a little cramped. They only provided water on the first day of our stay, but the capsule coffee was replenished daily. Toothbrushes and slippers were provided upon request.
The room was spotless and well-equipped. The location is fantastic, only an 8-minute walk from Atocha Station, and very close to museums like the Prado and Reina Sofía. Major attractions such as Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and the Royal Palace are also within a comfortable 30-minute walk. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the hotel's breakfast buffet is excellent.
The location is super convenient! It's within walking distance to the train station, Retiro Park, and the Prado Museum. We arrived around 8 AM and they were able to check us in right away. The room was quite spacious and very quiet. They also offer luggage storage, and if you order food delivery, the staff will bring it directly to your room.
We chose this hotel for its excellent location, but our stay over a few days was quite uncomfortable. The hygiene definitely needs improvement. Although the advertisement mentioned a hotel car park, it's actually a public service and quite expensive. On the positive side, the parking attendant was fantastic and very patient in helping us park, as the parking spaces are incredibly small.

Everything was great, the rooms were clean and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it.
Well, the room is okay, it has a moth repellent that they should use after guests arrive, not when there's a customer present, and the TV, which is the most important thing for checking for hairs or anything, only worked intermittently 😢
The room was spacious and comfortable but had quite a few defects.
Quick check in and excellent on-line check out!

Room is clean, but equipment and facilities are very “basic”, only have hair dryer, no fridge or kettle in room. 10 mins walking from Atocha station. Breakfast is average
The hotel location was good close to Atocha station, the room was clean and the view was great.
Straight forward hotel
Good for the location
We only stayed few hours prior to our early morning train
10 minutes walk to Atocha aprox
In the vicinity of the hotel few shops and restaurants
I’ve traveled to Madrid three times, and this is my go-to hotel. It’s super close to the train station. I always book the junior suite — the room is big and comfortable, especially the bathroom. I really like the large hot tub. The staff are always friendly, and the AC works great, unlike some hotels in Malaga where the AC is a joke.
Landed in Madrid at 8 AM. After collecting my bags, I arrived at the hotel around 9:30 AM, and they kindly allowed us to check in early. The hotel's design is modern and stylish, yet maintains a clean and simple aesthetic. It's within walking distance of the train station. Due to needing an extra bed, the nightly rate was around 1000+. Retiro Park is 3 km away, and an Uber costs about 7-8 Euros.
The room was a bit dated. There aren't many dining or entertainment options nearby, and even Retiro Park is quite a walk. Its sole advantage is its proximity to the train station, allowing you to walk there comfortably with your luggage. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're just looking for an overnight transit. Overall, it offers poor value for money.

We were happy with everything. They asked for a credit card or a 100-euro deposit upon check-in, and they returned everything upon check-out.
5 star for the location...rooms are decent but functional and clean. The rooftop view is awesome...especially if u managed to catch the sunset. When we were there in late november, rooftop opens at 6pm.
Excellent. The room is really comfortable and with good space. Also the bathroom is very good. The breakfast is good, with many options. It's also very well located in Gran Via, a very tourist area, with many people and with stores and restaurantes being open until late at the night. there are also different metro stations near by and we could go everywhere. The only issue with the room itself is that...
Overall, the food was okay, but I had to lower my rating because of the restaurant upstairs… expensive prices and dishes of just average quality and very poorly presented (I ordered a brioche, it came in a hamburger bun… a disappointment).

Lovely hotel for a stop over. Lovely staff, but well under staffed. Poor barman was run off his feet trying to do too many tasks. Consequently the bar waiting time was ridiculous. Management seriously need to look at staffing levels. It just is not acceptable.
Otherwise a lovely hotel with a fantastic FREE airport currier service.
For me, it's one of the best airlines; I've flown with them for years whenever I take my vacation flights. The only downside is that prices have gone up a lot.
A very average hotel with very old facilities does not deserve to have 4 stars.
It's located near the airport, so it's good for a one-night stay. Free airport pick-up is also available, which is convenient.
However, the soundproofing is not so good, so you can hear people talking in the hallway and the water in the bathroom flushing.
