Nice hotel, good quality of food and breakfast. Amenities are good too.
Huge Hotel, nice but no kettle to make Coffee Or tea in the rooms .
Great position; quality of the rooms and service in line with the standard. Great breakfast.
Very nice service, makes one feel special. Awesome room at The Level. Very good every step of the way. Worth every penny.
Wonderful hotel. Good service. Very tasty breakfasts. The centre really 40 minutes by bus, but bus stop nearby
Clean and tidy throughout. Friendly staff.

Lovely clean hotel with great service and a 24 hour bar. Good wifi and good Location, walking distance to the Retiro park. Only minor comment is more lighting required in rooms as we had an inside room. Excellent breakfast.
Location is great. Rooms are spacious. But I think they need to train people better how to prepare the beds. The way the pillows and the sheets were laid out- I’m not so sure. Towels and cleaning can be better. Always had to ask for water, and it’s not easy. But it is what it is, it’s not so bad.
Yuri at the front desk of Novotel Madrid was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine smile that set the tone for our entire stay. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, offering helpful local tips and handling every request with efficiency and care. He suggested a trip to toledo and he took care of all the transportation...
One of the best breakfast-experiences I have had in hotel. Great choice of different types of food, a juice bar. The room was cozy, I like the lightning - usually I prefer more soft light, which creates a cozy atmosphere - it was exactly like this, but also there is an option of a more bright light, if you need to read or work with papers. The very big minus for me was, that there were no natural...
Great little restaurant reasonably priced. My traveling companion Buddy Jesus, turned my water into 🍷 wine and Scotch saving me mucho Dinero. Breakfast buffet wasn't the best that I ever had but for the price of the hotel it satisfied me.
The location is in a great area away from the tourist traps. The staff on reception are exceptional and went above and beyond to help me and my wife with an issue renting a car. Couldn't recommend them more highly
Plenty of landmarks nearby, whether you like walking or taking the metro. 30 minute walk to major landmarks. Well worth it. You can see the architecture Spacious room and a very comfortable bed. All the amenities you need. Well designed. The hotel and the hotel room were immaculate. Super clean. The staff were very kind and welcoming. Extremely helpful

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Only spent one night here but we were made to feel very welcome. The room was great for 4 adults and with a high standard of cleanliness. Great location with a bus taking you straight to the Plaza Mayor from just outside the hotel. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.
It is clean. No frills rooms. Location is outside of Madrid center. Easy to take 1 euro bus to main sections. Breakfast is good. Hot food, Many selections. Restaurants and mall near. Grocery next store. Hotel is Packed with tour buses. Staff are curt and bland. Hotel is Fine if saving $.
Great location, right outside the hotel you will find a bus station that will take you to Madrid’s downtown. The rooms are pretty comfortable and you have all the necessary. A lot of grocery stores nearby, and also restaurants. Not that near from El Centro de Madrid, but you have the necessary near. And its a 20-30 minute ride in the bus to the popular area.
Great value hotel with reasonable prices. Even though it is not in the centre, it is well connected. Right at the door there is a bus stop and it takes 20 or 25 minutes to get to the centre of Madrid (€1.50 for the ticket). Staff were friendly. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I would happily stay there again.
This hotel is very busy, coach loads of people coming and going. Breakfast was heaving, couldn't move for people. I wasn't allowed to bring my suitcase into the breakfast area. No real explanation but rudely told to take it out. I hung the do not disturb sign on my door as I didn't want it cleaned. Had a note posted under my door as letting me know they tried to call me all day as they wanted to...
Centrally located in Madrid, this hotel is a great value. Modest rooms with a large dining room. Extremely friendly staff.

Upon entering the room you'll notice that the room is bright and airy.  There is wooden floors throughout with a large circular rug.  The entry area has an extra door from the main room to provide more sound barrier. Unfortunately mine would not stay closed. My room was located on the 8th floor near the end of the hallway. I was given two twin beds but the room is very large and not cramped at all...
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. They made the effort with little touches like a drink at the bar and chocolates and water in the room. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was amazing. A special mention to Saira (who makes the eggs at breakfast) - what a star!
Rooms okay but seems it's been a while since maintained. Lots of damage on woodwork. A nice gesture is that when you don't have your room cleaned, you get a voucher for a free drink. First day this worked perfectly, second day we received none which brings me to another issue; many of the staff do not speak English, apart from perhaps a few words. So if you ask for the voucher, the housekeeping has...
Breakfast was unbelievable! The variety, quality and presentation are unmatched. The service staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable, specifically, the layout and space made it luxurious. I would come here again, without question. 💪🏼
A very good service was provided by this hotel. The rooms were very neat and modern as well as the rest of the hotel’s facilities. The location is excellent for travelers in Madrid
Personal touch from the staff here is out of the space - we are feeling very welcome. We got such a big surprise while returning to our room after a city walk - such a warm and sweet gesture🤍🤍🤍 celebrating our reason of the stay🥳🥳🥳

The hotel was kinda great. The rooms were comfy but not that big. The WiFi wasn't really good. The location is good, because there is a bus and metro station crossing the street. You can walk 15 minutes to Gran Via, so good location at all. The breakfast was good, but there is a restaurant in the hotel that was definitely awful. 15 euros for an awful meal with a rude staff. Absolutely not recommended...
Characteristic as much in appearance as in the interior and fittings, but comfortable and with large bed, good view from room and plenty of hot water. Officially four stars and a slightly naff breakfast, but the reception staff were polite, efficient and provided the sort of service you'd expect at a five star hotel. Suggestion:- ignore the complaining moaners that it's not ultra- modern. This is...
Stayed here for 6 nights its right next to the train station which is nice, there is a full gym next door, and they have onsite parking all for a reasonable price. The house keeping staff was great and the turn down service was done well daily, the room was clean. Although the bed is a little bit worse for wear.
Decent hotel. Plenty of small problems though: 1. One hotel meal (out of our four) was awful. Our fish was cold in the middle. When we told the catering staff, they simply microwaved it and bought it back 2. *ROOM* Fixtures and fittings in need of repair (one example: our shower had cracks and leaks) 3. *ROOM* No duvet/quilt cover; instead it was a "top sheet", which doesn't fully encase the duvet...
Old hotel but in a good state. Rooms are getting cleaned very well with attention to detail. Bed is of good quality. Also the breakfast was okay. The location is a great plus as it is very close to the metro and the centre is walking distance (30 minutes).
First of all great mestoraspolozhenie. Great place to stay during a short self-guided tour. The building itself is old, rooms are average, cleaning is 4. Opposite the building of the old North station. Now there is a shopping center. There are many restaurants and cafes.

This is my second stay. I still think the location of the hotel is great, and the staff is very helpful. I found this time the breakfast options narrowed in some products and expanded in other ones that seem to adapt more to international visitors. I would come back to this hotel in the future if I come back to Madrid.
Nice modern hotel with good service and right at the city centre!
Very good location and close to everywhere I'd like to explore in Madrid. Nice breakfast with plenty of choices.
Everything was great and the staff even helped us to pre-packed for our breakfast as we had a train to catch next day early in the morning ! Bed is very big and comfy too !
Trip.com has charged our room fees and we be charged again by hotel staff again when we hand over our credit card to pay the city tax, by his mistake. luck we found it before leaving and got refund. It is a lot of money.

Excellent stay and perfect location. Highly recommend
Good location, rooms are plentiful. Front desk ck in was fast and easy. However for the price and 4 star rating expected a coffee machine in room. Ive stayed at 2 star hotels in madrid and they have q coffee machine.
Beautiful and comfortable vintage-style hotel, perfectly decorated and arranged thematically around the "Capitol Theatre" theme - we felt like divas in those rooms! 🤩 The staff was also extremely pleasant and helpful, and of course the location ideal, right in the middle of Gran Via in the beating heart of Madrid. Had the loveliest weekend staying there!
Nice hotel in downtown. It’s a prime location close to everything. The breakfast is great, lots of options, feels like a fancy restaurant. The rooms are not big and want some refurbishment. But location and breakfast bit everything :) there’s a roof top place but it’s very small and nothing to do in there really. There’s no gym in the hotel. Parking is outside across the street for €30/day.
The best staff, location, property. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it. Everyone was so warm and attentive.

Love the terrace for night view
Hotel facilities including rooms were not great. The breakfast buffet menu was the same during the stay (3 nights). There was no free bottled water provided during the stay, and the bottled water provided in the minibar in the room was charged (3.9 euros), but there was no price information.
Lovely hotel. Didn't do or see much as I was in and out .
Luxury hotel right in the centre of the Nice part of Madrid just off the Gran Via and judging by the names of the shops nearby it's certainly the best area to be.
My flight got cancelled last minute and this hotel was the perfect place to stay. The pool is beautiful, the bar is so much fun, and the staff is attentive. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a brief break.

Very convenient hotel near the airport. Was very surprised by breakfast buffet. It had great selection of food items, juices and coffee. Rooms on top floor are remodeled and had 2 small water and two cava bottles complementary. Good overnight stay after the long flight
Convenient and clean hotel. It was a short walk to the train station. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms had good water pressure. Just had a slight draining issue for the shower. If you can't get the shuttle to the airport they will call you a taxi and which accept card, helpful if you don't have any cash.
Offered the easy access to the airport that we were looking for. The area was nice and everything was clean and convenient with bus 114 right across this street. Rooms were a little tight for a triple. Was a little pricey, but that seemed to be the norm when I searched. Shuttle to go to airport was 5 euro pp.
Stayed here twice, the first room smelled really bad, it was reported but nothing was done. Stayed a second time as it was already booked, the room (video) was better and there was no awful smell. There is a restaurant in the hotel, the burger was good (photo). By the way, as it is near the airport, with people departing at all times, it is always noisy.
The hotel’s location is ideal, especially with their reliable shuttle service that gets you to Terminal 4 in under 15 minutes with a punctual and friendly driver. However, be sure to reserve your spot in advance as space can fill up quickly. The room was perfect for a one-night stay, and the cafeteria was equally satisfying. What stood out most was the excellent service—both over the phone and in person...
Great room, shady grounds, friendly and helpful staff. Good food in the cafeteria, buffet a bit average but well presented and fresh. Nice position, convenient for the airport and 15- 20 minutes from the centre of Madrid.

Nestled in the heart of Madrid, the Emperador Hotel is lauded for its prime location, with guests appreciating the short walks to numerous attractions, eateries, and shops. While the rooms earn praise for their comfort and cleanliness, opinions on service and noise insulation are mixed. The rooftop pool with stunning views stands out as a guest favorite, despite occasional overcrowding and noise....
Very comfortable beds. Bathroom is okay. Clean. A nice lobby in the very center of Madrid. The Sky Bar is awful… old school look, slow service, bad cocktails and even worst food. Really a downturn.
The location is excellent. The room has many amenities. There is a great view from a restaurant on the roof top. The room was not clean. Found hairs on bed sheets. The bathroom had dirty towels.
Beautiful hotel and rooftop. We had a terrace room facing gran via. Beds were comfy, front desk staff was polite and helpful hailing a taxi for us. Only negative was our room was below the rooftop bar and you could hear the bar upstairs.
I had an amazing time. Pool was great. View was amazing! And most of all our waiter Manuel was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. If you’re ever in Madrid I’d always recommend going here!!!
We booked this trip before COVID and have only just made it - family and timing just got in the way. So glad we didn’t change our plans. The weather was beautiful and Hotel Emperador was exceptional. Thank you Julia for an always warm welcome to the amazing pool and roof terrace ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location. Great Breakfast buffet. Great Room!
I had a minor issue which was promptly resolved so I have amended my review. Overall it was a good stay, nice rooms and great location near the Gran Via.
The rooms are basic but perfectly adequate and clean. The TV only has spanish channels but that's OK. The hotel is extremely central to metro and walking distance from many sites and sights. Lovely staff.
Hotel with excellent location, friendly staff, very good breakfast with private parking, we enjoyed our stay once again, we will return without a doubt

I have stayed here before. And, I really like this hotel . It is more like a boutique hotel. Not a super big hotel which I prefer. The rooms are not huge but well appointed and very clean. The staff there is very attentive and helped us with everything. 100% recommend if you're staying near the center of Madrid right next to the Grand Via. Breakfast was the highlight of the hotel. I did a deep research where to stay in Madrid, it was our first time visiting. We just got back and all the positive reviews are true. This boutique hotel is very charming. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed drinks and tapas at the bar. Their breakfast menu is extensive and made to order. It’s delicious. I wouldn’t agree with the hotel being 4-star but it was good. We had a decent stay, but quite underwhelming. Excellent option for a short stay, close to everything, very nice hotel
Near Gran Via main street of Madrid. Large room. Clean, sufficient amenities. No windows. It was like a maze to find room. Breakfast was so-so. Booked a double room but got a twin room. Stayed in April 2023
The shower in room 230 was broken, and water would spray everywhere in the bathroom. The basic room was very small, and there was no 25 square meters as claimed, and the 30-inch suitcase could not be opened.
The location is excellent, but other than that there is nothing special about it. The hotel room is relatively small. It feels like it is almost impossible to check in with a 30-inch suitcase without 25 square meters.
The location of this hotel was very good and you are essentially just paying for that. Stayed here for two nights during off season. Paid $270 per night.
