Polhena Sea View in Matara

Great location, good service, nice rooms. Just one drawback, they don't have lifts in their hotel.

One of the best experiences I had during an overnight stay at Matara. The owner with his family had good hospitality and gave a very warm welcome upon our arrival. They helped us to get a scooter as well. The rooms were spacious and were spotless. Their dining area had a beautiful sea view and the rooms had direct access to the pool and the sea view at a distance. Rates were also reasonable. Pool was clean and had no unpleasant odours as in some other locations in the area. The owners house was just adjacent and had ample parking space. Would surely be my selection for a night's stay at Matara next time as well.

We didn't stayed in the hotel, we just eat something in the Restaurant. It is very nice with a beautiful seaview, good Food and very gently service. If you stay in Polenha, it's worth a visit. We can recommend it

From the second we entered the hotel premises they welcomed us and kindly enough, the wife of the owner showed our bedroom options. We booked a room on first floor and it had a sea view as well as the pool and the hotel can be seen from there. Our room consisted of a large bed, sofa set, wardrobe, table and a TV with A/C and fans to keep the heat down. All the electronics were working perfectly. The bathroom had a tub and a separate shower included. The pool it self was big enough to host pool parties and had a great view of the sea. The hotel is managed by the whole family including the children of the owner. For female guests it’s a safe place to stay. The Polhena beach is nearly 50m close to the hotel. The hotel also owns a restaurant in the front which faces the sea. It’s a great location to hold parties. Overall the visit was comfortable and great for my mom and I. We sincerely thank the staff.

Very good place to rest. location is the most beautiful place I have ever seen in Matara, Polhena.The management was very friendly and provided a very good service. No need to go out to eat. Meals were served at the hotel and was very delicious. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to vacation freely.

owns an exceptional beauty of nature and rich with traditional Sri Lankan styles.A great place to spend a vacation with family and friends with a beautiful free environment. Had a very friendly and efficient staff. The owner takes care of all the needs very carefully. The food is delicious. Highly recommended. Provides a service worth more than the money provided.Great for photography too.Upstairs you can enjoy a beautiful view of the beautiful swimming pool.
