At Ease Beach Hotel in Hikkaduwa

The room was spacious and the location is good, but the overall experience was very poor. The hotel is clearly understaffed, with one person trying to manage everything, resulting in very limited service. The room was not properly maintained and basic toiletries were missing. Soap and shampoo were empty and inconveniently placed outside the shower, with nothing inside to hold them. We received only two small towels, and the pool towels were dirty. There were no hand towels, no duvet, only a sheet on the bed, and just two pillows. Lighting in the room was inadequate. Breakfast was very limited and disappointing. Wi-Fi was unreliable and did not work in the room or by the pool. Cash-only payment was not disclosed in advance. No elevator and very steep stairs. Overall, not recommended, especially with better options available nearby.
