Star Holiday Resort in Hikkaduwa

Our stay at Star Holiday Resort was arranged at very short notice after our original location plans completely fell through. Despite this, the management and staff were very accommodating and managed to arrange rooms for us without any hassle, which we truly appreciated.

The location is very convenient, being close to Hikkaduwa Beach and nearby attractions such as snorkeling spots and the turtle hatchery. This made it easy for us to explore the area.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. They even recommended a very good nearby place for breakfast, which turned out to be a great suggestion. The swimming pool was well maintained, and having a separate baby pool was an added advantage.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I really enjoyed staying at this place. The flexibility shown by the management, especially allowing us to stay a bit beyond the due time, made our trip much more relaxed and enjoyable. This gave us enough time to visit nearby attractions without rushing.

A big thank you to the management and staff for their understanding, hospitality, and support. With a few small improvements in amenities, this would be an even better stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others visiting Hikkaduwa.

Beautiful place to stay. Clean pool and rooms with very friendly staff

A functional room in a calm but central enough location. The interior works but is not super clean, which is ok for the price. I can recommend the stay in general, especially for budget travellers who don't want to stay in a hostel.

Far enough from the beach for peace but close enough for a short walk. Staff anticipated needs and were eager to help with whatever we need. The pool is a nice touch and was very clean. Peaceful setting and nice lounge to hang out. Only complaint is that internet access is only in the lounge area rather than reaching to the rooms.

If you are travelling on a budget in Hikkaduwa then this is the place to stay. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Staff are very welcoming and are always available to help you out. The pool is also very clean and a nice area to relax in. 10/10

Friendly and good service made my family day perfect....thanks and i recomend if you love to peace and calm place....A bit away from sea but you have to walk 5min only to sea.

Amazing and peaceful accommodation and pool area. Very clean room and amenities. Stayed with 3 friends and the double room was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and totally worth the price!!

The rooms are excellent quality and very clean!! The breakfast is beautiful and the bread is proper baked bread. The owners go out their way to help. The pool is big enough for a good swim or chill and is very clean!!! Also excellent toilets by the pool normally in sri lanka you have to go to your room. Definitely worth staying here if in hikkaduwa minutes from the town,beach,bus station and train station
