The Villa Goodwill Paradise is a wonderful place to stay. Siri and his staff are lovely and have no problem helping you out. You have everything you need in the shared kitchen even a washing machine. The place is immaculate. I would highly recommend this place.

Very comfortable room, with good beds and a nice swimming pool. The people were very helpfull and friendly. They helped with the e-visa for India, I was ofcourse very happy with that. Also they installated at TV for me in my room, so I could watch the Fifa world cup football.

This is a family run restaurant that sits on the beach. Speciality is their jumbo prawns and lobster. These were then biggest and meatiest prawns we have ever eaten. Serves with fresh salads and rice dishes. Family who run this restaurant are truly wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend

We stayed from January 15th to 22nd and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is small and cozy, the owners are friendly, the room was cleaned every day, there's a great clean beach nearby, and there are plenty of cafes and shops within walking distance. There's also a turtle island nearby, where turtles visit every day. 🙂 Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

I have attended a wedding party on 2023/01/26 there. Hotel was located in a nice place. It has a nice beach area. Food, hospitality by workers were all good. Only thing to worry was SAFETY. in beach premises they put several SWINGS for visitors to be enjoyed while looking at the sea. These Swing items were vulnerable for accidents as those were not tight well and the supports of swings were not well...

This a wonderfully hospitable hotel on a magnificent private beach. We were made to feel so special everyday. The rooms a lovely and brand new with air conditioning and fans and WIFI to boot. Great place to eat and relax for an evening. There was a live band playing the night we went and they let me sing a song with them. The food was delicious, and I was so pleased to be able to eat a hot meal that wasn't spicy. I can't handle the heat, and every meal I had up until that point I couldn't eat cause of the heat. Great service, great view and a great experience.

Very beautiful place, hospitable and caring hosts, quiet, comfortable and 7 minutes from the swimming beach. The house is clean, a very cute dog in the yard, monitor lizards live under the house, it is very interesting to watch them, they are not aggressive, but it is better not to touch them. From the balcony in one evening we saw a family of monkeys, fruit bats, mongoose, not to mention monitor lizards that live under the porch and hundreds of fireflies at night. Our friends have been staying at Villa White Sambur for several years now. We were happy with our choice. It's very clean, the staff is friendly, and there's security! Mr. Lahiru, the owner of the villa, is very nice. We were very pleased with our stay. There's security, so it's safe.

Superb staff, so friendly and welcoming. The owner makes sure you are taken care of. Everything was just perfect! If you want to treat yourself, upgrade to king room; huge room with high ceiling, and most of all - balcony with a view straight to the sea. The other rooms seemed also very nice, you can always go to their beach cafe to sit and stand the ocean.

We didn't stay here but we rented surf boards from the surf shop and hung out after surfing. It's a really nice, friendly place with a great vibe! You can order food from Why Not restaurant right next door. Very family friendly (we visited with our 10 month old baby). Hikkaduwa isn't the easiest place for beginners to learn (Weligama is the recommended spot) but it's still good fun to get in the water...

Seeing that this place has 3.8 on google as we speak is crazy! The price to Value is incredible! Our Room had a view to die for and the owners are so lovely and accommodating, and surfboard rental is 300 an hour or 1000 for the whole day! Imagine getting up to the sound of waves, going downstairs, picking a board up from the shop and within 2 more steps you’re on the beach ready to go, going surfing...

Our apartment had spacious rooms with a balcony overlooking the sea. Very cozy. The downside to all of this is the cleanliness of the rooms. The sheets and towels didn't really smell as they should have and the anti-mosquito nets over the beds had some dead insects on the top. The hotel is generally very tired, the view and location are attractive. Although all the rooms overlook the ocean, the soundproofing is terrible, you won't get enough sleep, because there are constantly tuks and crazy basses (which honk at everyone)

Aditya Resort is the most wonderful small hotel where the staff outnumber the guests and nothing is too much trouble for the happy smiling crew! Had a fantastic Christmas Day lunch at Asian Jewel. The food was great, I had roast turkey with all the trimmings and my friend had the vegetarian option. Both plates included wonderful roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese and sprouts and carrots. The staff are great and Dale is an excellent host ensuring that his guests are happy. Of course, the view made our stay splendid, but the room was also very convenient: really spacious, with plenty of storage place, wide wooden table, kettle, a really big bed. If you don't want to be in the very touristy Hikkaduwa and crowded beach, this is the right place. But don't expect much action. We had a wonderful stay here and Luca is a great host. We wish him all the best!

This is a very lovely guesthouse very close to the beach. The room was very spacious, comfortable and very clean. There was warm water in the shower, a fridge and even a safe for your values. We enjoyed nice conversations with the very lovely host. After we asked her she served us a super-delicious srilankan breakfast in the morning! We stayed at the Sweden inn guesthouse for a week whilst visiting hikkaduwa! It’s owned by a lovely welcoming family who are very accommodating! The rooms were amazing for the price! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone to stay here!
