It is our second visit, and it is the best apartment with kind attitude, wonderful view.

Amazing place to stay for a short or long time. The owner and staff are amazing. Any question you have, they will assist and help you. Food is also amazing. Territory and rooms are so nice and comfortable. And swimming pool was as perfect as on the picture. Very comfortable to get anywhere on a bike. And the most important, the place is quiet and no one will disturb you during the night.

Just ok. Little expensive. The room we had (106) had two single beds placed next to each other to make a double bed. They kept seperating. We checked out after our first night. Location is not bad. Very pleased with this hotel, great pool, good room service and only 5 minutes away from the beach. The laundry service is slightly pricey and there is not a big selection of food. All rooms have air con and fans.

Stayed at this cosy, well-priced hotel for a night. Clean spacious rooms with balconies. Manager was incredibly attentive and made great recommendations. Georgeous beach-face views - in proximity to both Hikkaduwa beach and Turtle beach. Has a PADI certified diving adjoining the hotel. Would recommend for anyone looking for decent budget accommodation.

It is a very lively hotel. It has a bar, pool, Free WiFi, hot water. Rooms a spacious and has a view of the sea/beach but the toilets could be a bit better other than that no other problems. However it is still under a bit of renovation.

We chose this place based on our guide's recommendation, and we did not regret it. Very nice, well-lighted, comfortable rooms (especially the upstairs ones), nice balcony, kind and helpful staff, and amazing breakfasts. A 5 minutes walk from the beach and services.

We stayed here for one night and it was great. The hotel has a beautiful pool, perfect to cool down during the heat. Also the breakfast is very good. The rooms are very spacious and the host is super friendly and gave us information concerning train tickets etc. thanks again !

We just had 4 nights at the refresh hotel and we had a wonderful stay here, the staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, always had a smile to greet you, nothing was any trouble to them, the rooms are exceptionally big, plenty of space, tea, coffee, water refilled everyday, in room safe, nice big bathroom with hot water. Very nice, bug and clean rooms

We had a great stay here and delivered exactly what was advertised. A good addition of a lounge and kitchen area shared with one other room, however we had it all to ourselves.

Cheap hotel rates and good service and keep it up

Nice place to stay in here, friendly staff and good conversations with smile. Also you can eat delicious sri lankan foods nearby. Some seafood and kothku are incredible for tasting, and seaview of the town is beautiful at sunsets. Nice to meet you good people of sri lanka. Thanks for your hospitality 🙏 🙏 🙏

We are a family from Russia, two children, 5 and 1 year old. Excellent place, recommended. Clean, comfortable, comfortable, spacious, everything is close, good owners. We have something to compare, lived in Sri Lanka for 2 months and changed 4 hotels and houses in different price categories, there was also a villa with a pool ... this option turned out to be the most optimal for us.

Worth for the price. Not far from beach. Near to railway station and hikkaduwa bus station.

If you are travelling on a budget in Hikkaduwa then this is the place to stay. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Staff are very welcoming and are always available to help you out. The pool is also very clean and a nice area to relax in. 10/10

The rooms are excellent quality and very clean!! The breakfast is beautiful and the bread is proper baked bread. The owners go out their way to help. The pool is big enough for a good swim or chill and is very clean!!! Also excellent toilets by the pool normally in sri lanka you have to go to your room. One of the best foods in Hikkaduwa, with most friendly service. The restaurant is located on the beach and just perfectly outside all the buzz, but still short walk away from Hikkaduwa centre.

Visited this place for lunch. It took a while for them to serve us and we were so hungry by the time the food came but the grilled seer fish tasted great (I am usually not even such a big fan of fish, but this was good!). It definitely made up for the wait time. The beach right in front of the place is a good place to surf.

Since we have been visiting Hikkaduwa for many years, we know how to find the gems of the food, such as Blue Note for the Chicken Cordon Bleu. Good bite of the chicken and the right ratio of chicken and cheese, too bad that this time the crispiness of the outside was missing for us a minus, but the rest with salad served separately in a bowl with delicious dressing and fries made the food successful...

We were a bit disappointed with our stay here. The location is great, rooms are bright and spacious, the owners and staff are super nice and helpful, and the soundproofing in the rooms is effective. HOWEVER, the services and infrastructure are more in line with those expected of a small, family run guest house. We had to switch from our original room because the air conditioning wasn’t working right...

This place is amazingly beautiful, relaxing and affordable. The staffs are good and helpful. The pool is clean, the beach is beautiful and easy access. We really enjoyed staying here and definitely will come back again next year. One good memories before the year 2024 ends.

The only saving grace of this hotel is its location; overall, everything needs some renovation and updating. Even at this price, I wouldn't recommend checking in. On our first day, we got stuck in the elevator and nearly suffocated. It was a miracle they got us out (because we were also trying to open the doors from the inside). The hotel is generally very tired, the view and location are attractive. Although all the rooms overlook the ocean, the soundproofing is terrible, you won't get enough sleep, because there are constantly tuks and crazy basses (which honk at everyone)

For the coldest beers on the beach and amazing views of the surf on the reef break and the main break. We have visited the place many times over the years and have always been very happy. Reasonable prices !! helpful and caring staff who clearly knows how to treat and respect their paying customers !! I stayed there for 2 days and surly will visit again !! I stayed here for ten nights. It’s excellent value for money- about £13 a night. Food is good and cheap . Location is right on the beach. Obviously for such a cheap price the rooms are not luxurious but who cares with the Indian Ocean 15 yards away. Only slight negative is the other guests-it’s often busy with impoverished Russians with terrible hair styles and no manners.....it’s like being caught...

We spend a night in this gorgeous place, room was great, clean, breakfast was super, the only thing they could replace is a bit loud aircondition. But still it was the best hotel on our 2 week journey in Sri Lanka.

We enjoyed our stay at the Oasis villa. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and the bathrooms even larger. The property is well kept and the pool is a nice addition and very clean. The breakfasts were well done and more than enough food to fuel up for the day. Would happily stay here again.

We stayed in guesthouse in offseason, july-avg 2017. Rooms are clean and not so modern, but it is great location and staff is very kind. We had room cleaning everyday and that was important for us since we have been here with two kids. Breakfast is ok, maybe a bit higher price (1000 rupies per person) but if you don't want hotels breakfast there is supermarket really close. They don't serve any other...

Affordable with spacious room, but damp all the time and not enough ventilation in the rooms. The facility could with some repairs, there were off the power outages during our stay. AC works and there is cleaning of room on the daily basis, towels and changed every day ?. Breakfast buffer is nice and tasty and plentiful for 1000 LKR per person. (Off season 2017).
