Amazing place, highly recommend. Polite hosts, fair price, well equipped kitchen. Very convenient that there is a large table for dinners. And if there are two or three of you, you can pull out a small table on the balcony, where it is cozy to sit in the evenings.

Very nice hosts. Lots of mosquitoes, but there is a canopy. New renovation, the second floor is just being done. There are breakfasts, but it is better to warn if you do not eat spicy food. The location is not very good since all the shops are far away. In general, for the money we booked it will do.

Apart from the fact that the hotel is on the beach it's not an ideal location. Very few other bars or restaurants within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and able. The hotel itself is rather spartan and feels overt priced.

Nico feels like they got a hotel but don't know how to run one. Dirty towels, staff mad if you want to eat on ur pool lounger and just a bit off on vibes. There is a fair few staff but lots of them dont seem to do anything. It's right on the beach which is nice.

Nico beach is located directly on the beach with its own beach access. The pool is clean and was cleaned every day. The rooms are large and clean, especially the bathroom. A simple room with a fan, private bathroom, and a decent bed. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. We didn't notice any insects or other critters. Small ants in the bathtub didn't count. There was always electricity and water. The beach was across the street. For the small price, they even included breakfast.

I enjoyed my time at sea front and its proximity to the beach being a 1 minute walk. As I also enjoy walking, it was a 20 minute stroll to turtle beach and amenities. The room was clean with a morning breakfast of toast, jam, eggs and coffie being provided. The hosts were warmly welcoming and I’d stay here again if I was in Hikkaduwa.

The place is just okay most of the staff were friendly however there were few really pushy and makes me uncomfortable. You just got to tell them NO on a serious note for them to stop bothering you, apart from that everything was okay, the toilet have no ventilation so the smell spread through the room, unless you open the doors the smell won’t go. Great location right on the beach. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make us customers happy. We got a very nice corner room at no extra cost. four weeks stay This is typical old Hotel. The building is old and the technology (water, electricity ) is old, but all works. Situation in the city is excellent; near centrum, on the beach. Good bed to sleep and the sound of waves is soothing. Good beakfast and the limits from food allergy were well taken into account. And also very early mornig breakfast when needed was possible. This may not be a five-star hotel, but the staff here make you feel like you're in one. The hotel owner and his wife treat guests like family, showing genuine care and hospitality. The rooms are big with a modern fit out. Staff are excellent and a great selection of food on the menu. The location is central to all the restaurants outside the hotel. I've stayed a month perfect for remote workers or digital nomads.

Staying at the Villa Red Lobster was a fantastic experience for us! We booked the Superior Quadruple room which was perfect for us, room is soo big, 2 balconies, huge bathroom. Best Villa in Hikkaduwa. i was booked this villa for two weeks in last November. Supper Clean. Very near to Hikkaduwa Beach. It will take 30 SECOUNDS to reach to beach from Villa. Privacy is 100%.Sunrise, Sunset and Sea view from rooftop is breathtaking. You have your own Rooftop garden + Kitchen. it was really unique and deafferent experience Very near to city center .Supermarkets , restaurants ,...

Excellent service clean place nice views near the beach hospitality was very good with a reasonable price...had a fantastic time with friends....highly recommended
