Very calm and quiet place and also nice atmosphere well managed infrastructure with ancient look architecture . Staff is so friendly and very supportive and more caring their visitors. So so beautiful place wow !

What a great place to start our Sri Lanka holiday! We spent two nights here getting accustomed to Sri Lanka and loved the intimate nature of the hotel where we were so well looked after. The Villa is in the heart of Negombo but feels hidden away. Our villa was so very spacious and perfect for a family of 4. The swimming pool was great and we spend a whole afternoon relaxing around it (we had the pool to ourselves) while the staff kept us fed and watered with drinks and a bruschetta!

It’s my first time on Sri Lanka and I couldn’t have imagined a better place to start my journey. The staff was very welcoming and helpful as I needed some help with my luggage. The Jasmin room was super clean and spacious plus you can see that it was designed with love. It was very hard to say goodbye to all the cute cats and dogs, and the funny little turtle, that’s why I’ll be back at the end of my Sri Lanka trip and and already looking forward to enjoy the quiet before heading back to Colombo.

We stayed here as part of our trip via Rickshaw Travel/Heritage expediciones for 2 nights. Our room was big, clean and tidy but basic. The shower looked like it was only cold water but it did warm up. Breakfast was simple and generally a fruit plate with toast and eggs of your choice. Staff were friendly and there were some restaurants nearby and you could also eat here in the evening.

Only one night here on arrival in Sri Lanka, it was a pleasant stay in a super, quiet location just a short walk from the beach but away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area. The room was comfy and staff friendly and so lovely to meet some of the stray dogs and cats adopted by the owner. Nice setting and affordable Sri Lankan curry and rice in the restaurant.

Ideal place to stay after landing in Colombo. Tucked in a quiet street off the main road. Easy to walk to good restaurants and beach. Staff were attentive and friendly. Good breakfast of fruit, eggs, toast. Good sized room (Teakwood) with AC. Comfortable bed with mosquito net. Pool was lovely temperature but not as clear blue as some of the photos. The area surrounding the pool /outside the rooms, although kept clean, could do to be smartened up.

Villa Araliya is a beautiful small complex of rooms and suites straight off the pages of a style magazine. Elegant but welcoming with polished concrete, white pillars and dark wood, We were upgraded to a suite and it was amazing, huge rooms with high vaulted ceilings and a king sized bed. even the standard rooms look like a boutique hotel. Very good ceiling fan and a quiet and effective air con. The staff were all super helpful and friendly. The Villa is a 5 minute walk to the beach and there were a couple of beach bars and a beach restaurant we visited. We also had curry and rice at Araliya which was yummy as was the wine. The pool is perfect - the photos do not do it justice. And they had adopted a puppy abandoned on their doorstep - lovely people cute puppy.
