I think this hotel is already well known as a supportive environment for a solo female traveller.. so quite a few mothers and daughters. It is very beautifully and carefully designed aligned with Ayurvedic principles. It is a really good deal-£78 including breakfast and two hours of treatment which include massage and facial. Everyone is really nice.

Amazing stay, I was only here one night but the team organised to have my yoga session and treatments early in the morning as well late checkout so I could enjoy all the compliments of the stay while I had the time here. The entire team - Kalaka, Gihantha, Anusha, Malaka and Mr Nimanka. Especially when I was getting scammed by my PickMe driver the team arranged to call one for me.

I stayed at Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions in December 2025 for a three-night Ayurvedic retreat, choosing this property specifically for rest, healing, and a sense of safety. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply distressing, and I ultimately had to leave early. From the first day, there were significant issues with mosquitoes and insects in the room. Despite repeatedly requesting insect control, no effective action was taken, making it extremely uncomfortable to remain in the room. During the stay, I became acutely unwell, suffering from severe vomiting and diarrhoea. Despite clearly explaining my condition to the on-site doctor and being told that dietary adjustments would be made, I continued to be served the standard menu. This failure in communication between medical and kitchen staff was concerning, particularly in a retreat where dietary care is meant to be fundamental. Privacy was a major and ongoing issue. Treatments were conducted in spaces where other guests and staff could walk past freely, with staff repeatedly entering without warning while I was practically naked. In addition, there were serious concerns about room privacy, including excessive visibility through the blinds and male staff looking into the room, which made me feel unsafe. Despite displaying a “Do Not Disturb” sign while unwell, staff continued to knock on my door and call the room phone. Noise levels throughout the property were also consistently high, which is incompatible with a wellness-focused environment. The most upsetting part of the experience occurred when I informed management that I wished to leave early because I felt unwell and unsafe. Instead of facilitating a smooth departure, I was repeatedly pressured to stay. The “compensation” offered consisted of services that had already been included in my booking. At checkout, while waiting for my transport, I was confronted again and asked to justify my decision to leave, which was extremely distressing. After my departure, management acknowledged many of these issues in writing and confirmed that my request for a refund would be reviewed promptly. Weeks later, I have received no follow-up or resolution. I am sharing this review so that other travellers — particularly solo female guests or those seeking medical or wellness care — can make an informed decision. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property to anyone expecting professional standards of care, privacy, or safety in a wellness setting.

My husband and I stayed in a King Villa with our adult daughter, adding an extra bed. The bedroom and open-air massage room are separated by a courtyard, so while there are a lot of mosquitoes in the mornings and evenings, we can enjoy nature in the privacy of the courtyard during the day. The bedrooms are equipped with herbal mosquito repellent and mosquito nets, so it's not a problem. From the time we made the reservation, the staff were attentive to our requests, and we received exactly the service we had hoped for. This is a truly trustworthy hotel.

We spent two weeks at Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The resort is tucked away from the busy beach road, set within a peaceful and lush garden. The villas offer a high level of privacy, each with its own garden, where we received daily doctor consultations and treatments. The food was outstanding, Chef Brian serves exceptional vegetarian cuisine with a wonderful variety of local ingredients, fresh herbs, and spices. The daily 2.5 hours of treatments included massages, oil infusions, steam therapy, and ghee cleansing, all carried out by highly experienced therapists. A huge thank-you to the entire team for making our stay truly unforgettable.

This place truly rejuvenates your body. It's a hotel, but it feels more like a sanctuary where you can cleanse both your body and soul. You wake up at 6 AM for yoga, followed by two and a half hours of Ayurvedic treatments daily, prescribed by a specialist. Evenings are dedicated to meditation. The therapists are excellent. I've had massages in many countries and am quite particular about therapist compatibility. While I did initially have one who wasn't a good fit, I was able to discuss it with the specialist and switch. The staff genuinely cares about our comfort. My 5-night, 6-day stay was enough to experience Ayurveda, but for actual treatment, two weeks would be necessary. I believe a month-long stay would allow for a complete cellular renewal of the body.

If I were to ever develop a chronic illness or cancer, I would want to stay here for several months for serious treatment. Even to prevent chronic diseases and cancer, I feel it would be beneficial to come here regularly for a detox.

Meals are therapeutic and prepared according to your dosha. Honestly, some Western guests complained about the food during my stay, but it's meant to be therapeutic. It's tailored to your dosha, eliminating foods that don't suit your body, flavored only with spices, and hardly any salt or sugar is used. Despite that, the presentation and taste are truly commendable. Over my 5-night, 6-day stay, I never had the same menu twice for any of the three daily meals. Even the fruit platters were artfully varied. Since no alcohol or coffee is served, it might not be ideal for those looking for a typical resort experience, but for anyone wanting to reset their body and mind, this is the perfect place.
