AYANA Sea in Wadduwa

We have been to Ayana Sea for the fourth time and certainly not the last time. A magical atmosphere, where you can feel the homely, relaxed and calm atmosphere of a family. Everyone is incredibly helpful, kind and friendly from the first moment to the last. When you need help with anything, whether at the hotel or with trips, they always find a solution. Willingness, professionalism, friendliness and comfort. Special thanks go mainly to the manager Mr. Dharsan Laxini, Mr. Sisira Silva, Mr. Ekanayaka and the entire staff and people in the kitchen, which is always absolutely delicious. We can warmly recommend it, we have never encountered anything bad here, on the contrary, everything is truly amazing. Thank you Jiri and Katty Czech Republic

Very satisfied with all elements of our meal here, the service, the quality and price were right. The combination of flavours in the curry meal and it's side dishes are wonderful, be sure to mention if you don't enjoy very spicy food .

We had a lovely two night stay. It’s a quiet hotel just off the beach. The staff were pleasant and we found the food to be good. The room was fine although the bathroom was oppressively hot as it was meant to have a feel of the outdoors with no air con. Our plunge pool was also in need of a little cleaning attention so we sadly didn’t use it. The main pool however was fine.

We stayed here in January 2026 with family 8 persons(kids also). We met good guide here on beach Beny Tours(beni.nuwan) who was our quard, driver and quide, and he also shoved us places that only locals can see. We felt safe and he was also patient. Thank You Beny very much!

The Ocean View was breathtaking waking up to that view was unforgettable! restaurant offered a great variety of delicious meals, and the staff made sure every dining experience was enjoyable. I also enjoyed the relaxing spa treatments and the yoga sessions arranged by the hotel. Everything from the housekeeping to the small attention to detail made my stay perfect. I highly recommend Ayana Sea Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality experience in Sri Lanka. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so special. The *restaurant food was delicious*, especially the seafood dishes and Sri Lankan breakfast. The *staff at the restaurant and front desk were always friendly*, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The *hotel is located in a peaceful area*, close to the beach, and perfect for a quiet getaway. We also appreciated the *special touches like the spa services, yoga sessions*, and the overall calm vibe of the property. *Booking was very easy*, and the team kept in touch every step of the way. We recently stayed at Ayana Sea which was more than our expectation. A serene location with smily faces makes a big difference. This resort is an ideal for those who are looking for a quiet place. It's exactly on the beach where you can sit and gaze at Indian ocean constantly. We stayed in a Premium Pool Villa which was a great option to keep our little one busy and the pool outside is just fabulous 👌 As you arrive at the resort, they take care of everything. Staff is so humble and they give unconditional respect to their guests. Mr Silva who is truly a real gem there who pampers the guests as his own people. He was so aware about our preferences that we were always served with best options. Other restaurant people Ajith, Ekanayaka, Sanjula are so amazing. They always pay their attention to their guests. At front office Ravindu was always with a big smile 😀 on his face which made a great impression about true hospitality. Other employees at the desk were amazing too. Ashen, Imesha, Amandi were always aware and very much affectionate about our stay. Our real hero was the pool boy Mr Ajith who was always making sure to setup the pool bed and towels for us. He is a very hard worker and we were so amazed with his kind attitude. We will definitely go back to see these most humble people. My apologies if I missed anyone's name and my truest regards to each and every single staff of Ayana Sea who made our stay to feel as home. It's truly our home in upcoming years. What a perfect sweet escape place. Based on my own experience I will definitely come back here not only about the beautiful view,delicious food it because the people who work there. There true hospitally and great service is the best of all. I will recommend this hotel for someone who's looking for the place to unwind,relax and spend quality time to your love ones. This place makes me feel at home . This is a beautiful hotel that is right by the sea with beautiful beaches. Staff is extremely friendly and will help you with anything you need. You get your own private hotel room and a private small pool, which is just beautiful.. We had massages that were wonderful and staff that has been super friendly and nice. I will definitely come back. Only downside is the location. It’s definitely a drive from the city.

I stayed in Ayana Sea for 3 nights and it was like staying in Heaven. The location is amazing, the room was very big, clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. The resort is surrounded by wild nature so the rooms are very silent. I had a full body massage at the SPA and it was a great experience. Very recommended!
