Blue Beach in Wadduwa

Pros:
The hotel is located in a picturesque area with a deserted beach and clear, turquoise water.

Cons:
The hotel itself is a nightmare and in desperate need of a major renovation. The staff are friendly, but everything else leaves a lot to be desired: rusty metal parts everywhere, old rotting mirrors, falling-apart wardrobes/nightstands, and damaged plumbing. The shower cabin leaks water onto the floor. Breakfast is extremely limited and served in awful conditions—rusty/broken buffet units, with everything torn off and hanging loose. The tables are worn-out and crooked and should have been thrown out long ago. The elevator is noisy, wires are sticking out in places, and there’s trash that looks like it has been there since last century. Overall, the hotel needs an owner/management who will actually renovate it and bring it up to standard.
And there is no large swimming pool like in the photos.
