T3 Alpenhotel Flims in Flims

Poor food, very limited choice, a hair in my food, management refused to do anything except apologise. Never going back.

I only booked this hotel because it was the only last-minute option in the given high season time (2+3 family) that didn't cost a fortune (it is still not cheap, even for switzerland)

On the good sides - The room is quite spacious, and the receptionist is nice young person.

The hotel itself lacks ability to give a good sleep. The matress is incredibley soft and bad quality, making the middle of my body to sink 20cm lower tha the rest. It is not a bed. It is a back-pain imposing anti-sleep device.

While many hotels use the soft mattresses, this one is not only too soft. It also seems to be old and worn out.

Guys! If you could left just one thing in the hotel and still make it a good hotel - that would be the good-quality moderatley hard mattress. Here it seems they took just the random one 40 years ago, and they keep it that way.

If you like to sleep, while on the ski-trip, just go somewhere else.

The Spanish general manager Carlos told us that internet was available throughout the hotel when he knew there was not. When I others complained, he was rude and abusive as well as being a liar. All the other staff were friendly apart from the general manager. There were no ***** toilets on the ground floor and you had to go to your room if you wanted to use the toilet. The hotel is not suitable for disabled people with steps everywhere. the grounds were covered with brambles and weeds and gave the place an uncared look. In the room there was a shower over a bath tub but very difficult to access the taps. Very slippery bathroom floor. Bathroon had 2 soap dispensers but I could not get soap out of either. The bedside light was so dim it was impossible to read anything in bed. The desk had room for a fridge but there was none. There was no fan or air conditioning despite the temp being in the 30s outside.All rooms had a balcony. The evening meal consisted of a starter (2 days soup and 2 days rabbit food) main course and desert. Drinks were charged to your room and when paying the bill found them expensive.The main course had generous portions. Breakfast was in buffet style with cereal/yoghurt. Cold meat and cheese, rolls/bread, butter/margerine, jam. No eggs of any kind. 2 drinks machine for coffee with one machine had hot chocolate which was so sweet it was undrinkable. multi vitamin juice and orange juice was available.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The manager Carlos and restaurants manager mo mo were very aggressive in their approach to certain guests. The packed lunch was awful, you got shouted at at by staff if you moved tables took drinks outside used a coffee cup instead of tea cup. Had to rush all inclusive drinks as only available for 90 minutes. Bar never open. It was like a prison camp . Cannot believe the hostility from Carlos and mo mo. How they still have jobs is beyond me.
