Charming hotel Alphorn-style Chalet is located in Gstaad next to the cable car which takes You to ski areas Wispile and Eggli. The hotel offers cosy rooms with a rustic atmosphere and delicious cuisine.

Location: Gstaad next to the cable car (30 meters). Distance from Zurich airport is 210 km from Geneva airport, 155 km. Behind the hotel there is a ski school and a ski kindergarten. In 10 minutes you can reach the pedestrian centre of the city. Sports center and the building in which the festival of classical music "Menuhin" located 800 metres from the hotel. In 9 km You will find a field to play Golf.

Good Hotel with comfortable beds. Friendly and attentive staff. Sauna and Vapor is small but good. Breakfast typically like in Switzerland. The restaurant offers nice food and good service indeed.

A stone throw away from the cable car and the city centre, this hotel has a warmth to it. It feels like being in a family and the service is very detailed. There is a front terrace, a breakfast bar and a restaurant all surrounded by the beautiful mountains in Gstaad

Excellent is the word!! Thank you Remate and her team for the wonderful hospitality. Very warm and friendly! Rooms were cosy and spacious food was great and the team welcoming! The hotel is 10 mins walk from station. Next time in Gstaad we know where to stay:)

I love this Hotel! I come here year in and year out mainly to attend the Menuhin Festival of classical music. From the railway station I walk through Gstaad, at a relaxed pace, and then along the Gsteigstrasse to find this hotel at the foot of the hills and mountains, in a wonderful and green setting, by the road. Overall it takes me around 15-20 min. The hotel is a jewell with very clean rooms, like the inside a cristal glass, with white and fluffy bed sheets like the first snow, in a Swiss authentic style. The breakfast is tasty and is included in the price. The owner and service are to the image of the hotel, excellent and generous.

This lovely restaurant is sadly not what it used to be. Shockingly, on a Saturday evening at 7:30 pm there were only 8 guests. The food, for example Bruno's meat skewer, was just so-so, no comparison to the previous owner. The service was rather unmotivated. The Alphorn is gone... what a shame...

As soon as we arrived in the hotel , started a loud noise of a drill machine in the apartment above us. And it continues the morning after. It was impossible to stay in the room. The hotel should be closed if they want to do renovation work or they should not make the apartments in the same area available to guests. It was such a lack of respect, and the answer that we received from the receptionist was that they can’t do anything.
We spent 20 days traveling around Switzerland and it was the first time that we faced such a situation!!!
Besides all of that the hotel is far away from everything; the lovely downtown of Gstaad is 2 km away.
The accommodation is medium and the towels are old.
The breakfast is the poorest that we have had in Switzerland.
I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

They canceled my reservation and gave my room to someone else. I had a booking confirmation received verbally on the phone and in an email for my son and I who were attending a wedding in Gstaad. They said I didn't have a confirmation because I hadn't given them my credit card when I called them yesterday to confirm my arrival. The person I talked to had my name but was not helpful. She said they gave my room away and had no rooms available and hung up on me.

Surprisingly great pizza. Eat in the more casual "cafe" area with the locals. Never slept in hotel only ate there.

just near the most basic ski sloap of Gstaad. nice rooms with a beautiful view of the montains. nice breakfast and restaurant. nice structure for skiing and friendly service. it's dog friendly!
