I had such an amazing stay at this hotel, everything was truly excellent. The food was incredibly delicious, honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The entertainment program was also outstanding, definitely one of the best I’ve ever experienced. What I loved most was how comfortable and welcomed I felt from the moment I arrived. It really felt like a home away from home. I was there with friends, but the atmosphere was so warm and enjoyable that I’m sure I would have had just as much fun even on my own. I would absolutely come back again! Highly recommend! xx Kim

We have been the last two years in a row over the Feb half term with our young children who have learned to ski here and love it. The chalet style of the hotel is impressive, location is great, beautiful mountain views, very clean, spacious & functional rooms, family friendly and staff that is very accomodating. The lounge both inside and outside is lovely throughout the day with the fire going and drinks from the bar arrive speedily. The sweetie jars at the end of the bar is such a fun touch and one that everyone enjoys. The sauna, pool and general quiet in the wellness is very relaxing. The pool is definitely a highlight for all the families. Dinner covers all alpine highlights and is delicious and generous with lovely wines to match. There is a playroom, various games & toys as well as a pool table for all to enjoy. Babysitting is available which is great for an evening out seeing the Gstaad scene etc. The underground garage and ski room is a very nice to have. And you can walk into Saanen which is around 10 mins or drive a short 8 min drive to Gstaad village and the various slopes. We'll be back again next year and looking forward to seeing Ilse, Michel and the team!

My wife and I had a wonderful four day stay at the Splitzhorn in Saanen to participate in a friend's family wedding. The hotel displays 3 stars but really it could be five! The quality of the rooms, the delicious meals in the hotel restaurant and many hours enjoying the spa made the stay one of the finest. We would highly recommend the Splitzhorn if you are in the area.

Booked a premium room with mountain view for a 5 nights stay. While our room was on the mountain view side, we had a ground floor room with a view of three adjacent chalets and walkers passing our bedroom window on a wanderweg. Feel that ******* customers receive lesser treatment than direct bookings. While the room was disappointing, the restaurant and staff were first class.

Charming family hotel in an unique setting
We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities this hotel has to offer. Quiet, wonderful views, beautiful wellness oasis, excellent cuisine, bus to the concert and, above all, very dedicated and friendly staff under the careful and very personal management of the director couple. We will be back.

The staff was rude. This hotel feels more like a 2 to 2.5-star, not a 4-star. There was no tea maker or cups in the room, and when we asked for them, we were told they don’t provide those items in the rooms.

Stunning Views & Great food
We had a fantastic time at the botel. The food was excellent, and the staff were genuinely warm and helpful. Everything ran smoothly and the atmosphere was great. The views were absolutely mind-blowing waking up to that scenery was a highlight. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning (or even fans) in the room. With how hot European summers are getting, that made the nights a bit uncomfortable. Still, we really enjoyed our stay overall.
