The hotel facilities were too old, and there was only a small fan for me to spend the whole night. The bed was not covered with a quilt, you could only find it in the closet, and the double bed only provided a single quilt. Maybe the hotel realized that it did not provide air conditioning and did not plan to provide a quilt?
I was already very helpless because it was too hot and I didn’t sleep well all night, and I was even more angry when I met the front desk lady.
When I booked, I wanted to ask about the luggage storage issue. I sent several emails to the hotel but did not get any response.
So I arrived in Switzerland and called the hotel on June 25 to ask if I could store my luggage for 2 days when I checked out, because I needed to go to another city and would come back here. The hotel customer service who answered the phone was a man with a friendly attitude, and answered us "should be no problem". We also asked if this storage matter would be charged, and the man still answered no problem. So we thought the luggage storage problem was successfully solved.
When we checked out on July 2, we told the front desk lady that we needed to store our luggage for 2 days because we needed to go to another city. She bluntly replied that it was not possible. I asked why not, and she said that it was because you did not have any reservations afterwards. I replied that I had called to confirm your hotel several days before check-in and said that it was possible to store it, and I clearly stated that I needed to store it for 2 days. If there was a fee, I could afford it. The hotel customer service who answered the phone very politely replied that there should be no problem see you, which made us feel at ease. However, facing this hotel front desk lady, she was unwilling to explain to us, saying that there was something wrong with the person who answered the phone, and repeated that you could not store your luggage. It was not until I answered her angrily that I called to confirm that she said that we could not guarantee the safety of your luggage if you store it here. This front desk lady answered every question of mine with a look of contempt, and I felt that I was spending money to suffer. I could not continue to argue with her because I was in a hurry to catch the train. If she had explained it well and helped us solve the storage problem, such as where there was a luggage storage point, we would have accepted it. But as soon as you see the look in her eyes, you will be so angry that you don’t know why you have to spend money to come here to suffer and have to look at her face!
