The stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and well maintained, which made the stay very comfortable. The location is excellent – everything is close by and easy to reach. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the overall experience even better. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again

The Eden is a great small hotel in the traditional style. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. I appreciate the fact that the staff always go out of their way to satisfy my request for a room on the quiet side of the hotel. The buffet breakfast is copious, fresh and good value. Great location near La Perle du Lac on the lake and various international organizations, with easy access to Gare Cornavin.

I spent two weeks in Geneba at Hôtel Eden, and I really enjoyed my stay. The room was nice and clean, the location was fantastic and the staff were very nice. The only thing that could perhaps be improved: I wish there had been more vegan options for breakfast.

Hotel Eden and its associated restaurant were both outstanding finds at this price range. A 10 minute walk to downtown, quiet and clean rooms. The Caramela served fabulous food. But the service really set this hotel apart from others. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and seemed to genuinely care. Highly recommend!

Location: 15-20 minutes walk from the train station, about 10 minutes walk from the Palais des Nations. The nearby streets are relatively clean, and although it is on the street, it is generally quiet.

Facilities: The hotel as a whole looks old-fashioned, and the room door key is also traditional, and you have to manually lock the door when entering and exiting. The internal facilities of the room should be relatively new and renovated, and the washbasin is a bit small. The windows can be opened for ventilation. There is no kettle in the room, and the mini bar needs to be paid for separately.

Breakfast service: The breakfast is relatively simple, with freshly ground coffee. The staff is also quite enthusiastic.

We were quite disappointed in our stay at Hotel Eden, but first the positives;

Negatives;
We felt the room did not match the photos on trip.com. A room with carpet and what looked like a terrace is in the pictures. We got a really old dated room without carpet and no balcony terrace.

The description of the hotel states amenities like dental kit, conditioner and there wasn’t anything. There wasn’t even any bottles of water in our room. The sliding door for the shower was broken.

The breakfast was really small and limited and of a very basic quality.

It was my girlfriend’s birthday and there was no mention or wish of a happy birthday.

This is only the second negative review I’ve left on trip.com out of 30+ hotel bookings in the last 1.5 years
