My brother and I started in the US and travelled across Europe and came to Geneva to visit an elderly family member who has lived there for 60 years. We checked into Hotel Le Cenacle late on November 28, 2025. It turned out to be the most miserable hotel experience compared to places that we had stayed in Spain and France. They charged us $290 for a small room that was not clean. I could barely fit into the shower and TV did not work. There was a crack in the toilet bowl. The next day, we were charged $40 dollars for breakfast. The breakfast room is in the basement, there was no coffee, no milk, no pastry and no service. I had to ask for some coffee which was not available. A young mother was not able to obtain milk for cereal to feed her child breakfast. The check out is at 10:00 am..!!!This is A Predatory hotel who take advantage of travelers. I am also writing an email to the manager of the hotel requesting a refund. Would never stay at this hotel again....:::

If you are looking for a nice environment with great connections to the inner city of Geneva, this is the place to go! Neat rooms and friendly staff.

Simple, no frills room. Comfortable enough for 3 nights. We had an en suite and the ‘bathroom’ was very tiny - as in 1 person at a time max. So I wouldn’t suggest the en suite rooms for bigger people. The 4 stars is because I think a fridge would be the only addition to the room I’d want to see.

I would highly recommend this hotel! The area and scenery was lovely, and was only 10 mins away from the tram that takes you to town. The room for my family was clean tidy and all around brilliant! The gardens were very well maintained. The manager was very helpful when we asked for directions and for places to eat.

The host were lovely they gave us a free breakfast and a traveller pass for any public transport The rooms were nice with kettle for making drinks The beds were very comfortable The hotel is of the main rds with lovely grounds but the tram stop is 5 min walk and they go into town and the lake I would come back again

Just returned from a few days at Le Cenacle, the hotel was lovely, clean and staff friendly. The location is great for the city centre with a tram stop less than 5 minute walk. Or alternatively a walk to city centre is 20mins. Rooms are a good size and showers big with tea and coffee facilities. Grounds are beautifully kept

The room, the location was amazing. The hotel is in the city but at the same time inside of a beautiful forest as well. But the best side was how welcoming the staff was. I would like to personally thank Valentina and Carl for their hospitality ♥️

The hotel is nice and quiet and the grounds are well maintained. Also the bus is pretty near to the hotel. The hotel itself on the other hand is comprised of container units. The hallways are 'office like' basic. The rooms themselves are pretty ok, but be careful since they also have rooms without a private bathroom.
The private bathroom for both single and double bedrooms is ridiculously small. (You can't close the bathroom door when using the toilet).
Breakfast is unbecoming of a luxury hotel.
I had heard that Geneva hotels were expensive but compared to other hotels in Germany, France, Spain and Portugal the cost of over 180 Euro's was more comparable to an 80 Euro hotel room elsewhere and so was breakfast.

Expensive. The hotel is visibly a converted mansion but all seem and feel old and cheap. No TV in the room. Mini bar in the room was empty. No restaurant or food option on the evening and breakfast was really basic. Definitely not going back there.
