We loved our stay at The Hamlet in June 2025. Our apartment was not only beautifully designed but also exceptionally comfortable, making it the perfect retreat after a long journey. The thoughtful touches - from the welcoming team who made us feel at home in both the apartment and common spaces, to the curated selection of delicious foods and groceries waiting for us - set this property apart. We especially appreciated the complimentary on-site Pilates class, which was such a refreshing bonus during our visit.

If you’re looking for the comforts of home combined with the elegance of a boutique experience while visiting Geneva, The Hamlet is an outstanding choice. We’re already looking forward to returning!

Hidden gem in the heart of the old town!
Welcome team are amazing, Sèbastian met us at the nearby carpark with our bags. Fresh baguette & other treats available for us on arrival. Amazing base to explore all areas of Geneva & some great restaurants within a very short walk. Highly recommend!

The Hamlet is hands down the best place to stay in Geneva. Forget the usual big-name hotels—this place is a hidden gem that delivers far more charm, warmth, and service than any chain could hope to offer.

We’ve stayed at The Hamlet twice with our young family, each time for two months, and every visit has felt like coming home. The team knows your name, greets you like old friends every time you walk through the door, and genuinely cares about making your stay exceptional.

The accommodations are exquisite—a beautifully restored historic building in the heart of the Old Town, just steps from Place du Bourg-de-Four. Inside, everything is modern and elegant: top-of-the-line appliances, tasteful mid-century furniture, and a perfect blend of old-world architecture and contemporary comfort.

The location couldn’t be better—surrounded by charming cafes, restaurants, and all the character that makes Geneva special.

Whether you’re a solo traveler or a family, The Hamlet is incredibly accommodating. They go above and beyond in so many thoughtful ways—stocking your apartment with high-end snacks, drinks, and chocolates, helping with errands like dry cleaning, and even ordering specific appliances on request.

One unforgettable moment: on our son’s birthday, we returned to the apartment to find balloons, a cake, and presents waiting—and we hadn’t even mentioned the occasion. That level of care is rare and speaks volumes.

We can’t recommend The Hamlet highly enough. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again.

I stayed at the Hamlet Geneva for five month in 2025.
My experience was a very good one.
The location is outstanding, just next to the famous historic Bourg-de-Four, and close to the St. Pierre Cathedral.
The interior design is fantastic and largely personally created by a family member including distinct paintings.
The staff is definitely above average, and I'd like to specially mention Anaëlle, the chief of staff, who had the overview and was in charge at any time: very friendly, kind, reliable, organized, customer centered. Also the other staff were available, and even helped with business tasks.

I can whole heartedly recommend this place - six stars out of five!

Not worth the money. Very nice staff and great location, but lots of issues. Starting with the rooms have no privacy as they are in the basement or ground floor, with the only window facing the other rooms. The heating didn't work so we had to wear hats and layers indoors and still my fingers felt frozen. They gave us a space heater on the third day but it wasn't nearly enough. Maid service only twice a week and no hand vacuum available. It's not as large as anticipated. Almost no natural light. No privacy. No full length mirror. The shower was terrible as there's no showerhead or hook, so you have to hold the hose which is very annoying and cold as you shower. No breakfast or room service. Self parking. The bedroom and bathroom were uncomfortably tiny. No window in the bedroom. On a good note, they did offer a free pilates/yoga class. For the price, a hotel is a much better option, or an Airbnb.

The location is great, in the center of the old city. Around restaurants; cafes; shops and grocery too. Some rooms are being renovated, but they promised to finish everything soon. The rooms have absolutely everything you need. Everything is new and clean. There is an elevator in the building. We were met very warmly and quickly. Definitely when they completely finish the renovation of all the rooms and the building we will stay there.

Clean , well equipped perfect location and safety. Amazing space. Tastefully and thoughtfully designed with a feel of home. Friendly and welcoming. We stayed for 14 days with not an issue. Loved it so much that decided to leave our son for 3 years there. Anaëlle and Joeffry very very helpful. Rightfully said a hidden gem.
