I ordered room service one night as it was storming and it never came . I had to call and ask why . Then none of the items were available. Other than that , excellent hotel , great location and staff was excellent. Would recommend the property despite what happened

We were hoping to visit the Lindt Chocolate Factory, only to find it completely sold out. The concierge team, however, worked their magic and managed to secure us tickets! That alone would have been enough to earn a glowing review. But they took it even further by upgrading us to a suite so enormous that we literally made a "Cribs"-style video about it! We were absolutely blown away by the size and luxury.

Beyond the impressive suite and the chocolate factory miracle, the hotel itself is stunning and perfectly located. But it's the dedication and attentiveness of the staff that truly sets this place apart. They anticipate your needs before you even express them. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay here. Immediately welcomed by warm staff, our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We loved having coffee on the balcony every morning. The location is perfect and close enough where everything is walking distance but without being in the middle of the crowds. Katrina from the front desk radiates kindness and made us feel at home from the second we met her. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!!!

This hotel exceeded ALL of our expectations! It’s gorgeous, the rooms are HUGE. And the service is even better! We came for a vacation to celebrate our 12 year wedding anniversary and i was nervous to pick a hotel coming from a different country but it was the best choice i could have made!

From checking in to checking out and everything in between, everything was amazing. Ivan and Kaltrina are the most amazing and accommodating in the front! Everyday they made us feel so welcome and so kind. I was blown away with how incredible they were. The cleaning staff was so sweet and the bartender Victor was so great! We loved talked to him at night. I honestly left feeling like i was going to miss the staff as much as this amazing city

Kaltarina made the last days of our honeymoon so memorable and meaningful. From the moment we walked into Hotel Alden, she was beaming with energy and excited to welcome us in. She was very professional yet somehow, made us feel right at home. She was very thorough with explaining the hotel amenities and helping us navigate Zurich public transportation. She gave us multiple restaurant recommendations as well as chocolate recommendations since this was our first time in Zurich. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with no traffic so we were never disturbed at night. Every morning, the breakfast staff was full of energy, so kind, and attentive to our needs. We were always served in a timely manner and again, felt like we were staying with our own family. Every time we entered the building, reception would stop what they were doing to greet us and make us feel right at home. Hotel Alden exceeded our expectations as a hotel, we are so excited to choose them when we come back to visit.

The reception was fast. If you need to wait, there is a sofa next to you. Welcome drinks and fruits will be provided. Miss Kaltrina who received us gave us a detailed introduction to the hotel facilities and the surrounding area. During the period, someone helped us park the car and brought our luggage. The hotel is similar to an apartment in the city. The elevator should be the back house. It is very narrow. If you don’t take luggage, it can accommodate about three adults. The waiter will let the guests take the elevator and take the luggage up the stairs by themselves. The room is very large. It is equipped with one bedroom, one living room and two bathrooms. If more than two people stay, the sofa in the living room can be unfolded into a sofa bed. The master bedroom has a bathroom. The bathroom is larger than the living room. The functions are very complete. It is very suitable for a family of three. Each has an independent space. There are some artworks in the room. For example, the vintage wardrobe at the entrance is not recommended for storing things. The wardrobe space in the bedroom and the hooks in the corridor are sufficient. Breakfast is on the first floor of the hotel. Bread and some snacks are self-service. Freshly made main dishes (egg products), waffles and yogurt need to be ordered from the waiter. The menu will be given after sitting down. Everything is very delicate and tastes good. The parking space is right at the door of the hotel. You can see the car on the balcony, but pay attention to the parking spaces with hotel signs. The other half of the parking spaces are for the apartment. However, even if you park in the wrong place The hotel reception will help you move your car. The overall facilities are very new and the service is very good. Opposite is an office building and next door is an apartment. The environment is very quiet. If you are able to walk, you can go anywhere within 20 minutes. It is especially close to the lake.

The hotel is not like a five-star hotel, the room is just large, but the service is good, the location is good, the hygiene is not very good, breakfast can be delivered to the room
