Sorell Boutique-Hotel St. Peter Zürich in Zurich

Medium sized church in the heart of Zurich’s old town. Free entry but not much to see inside, very minimalist. One of the largest clock faces you’ll see on the outside however!

No complaints other than the price, but that's to be expected given its prime location on Bahnhofstrasse. The room was very clean, and the toiletries were excellent. Breakfast was outstanding – delicious, beautifully presented, and served until noon.

The hotel is great, but I got a room facing a noisy street. There was partying and yelling all weekend until morning, and then drilling and sawing started outside at 7:30 AM. The AC unit is very loud. During peak hours, there's no hot water; you have to wait for everyone else to shower.

However, the room is well and expensively equipped, with everything you need and more! The staff is super!!! Breakfast is good (if you don't go when it's crowded and everything gets eaten).

St Peter’s Church is well known for having the largest clock face in Europe, which is easy to spot while walking through Old Town.
Entry is free, so visiting is very easy with no hassle. Inside, the church feels calm, quiet, and comforting, a nice break from the busy streets outside.
The interior is simple and peaceful rather than ornate, which adds to the overall serene atmosphere. A good place to sit for a few minutes and slow down.
A lovely, understated stop while exploring Zurich, especially if you enjoy quiet spaces and historic churches.

Impressive place, the clock is huge. Take a moment to sit in front of it and enjoy the view.

Location was perfect for us and the breakfast was outstanding! Very pleased with everything about our stay. Would highly recommend.

You'll see plenty of churches in Zürich, but this one has a special "wow" factor if you know how to find it. My advice: don't just snap a picture from the main square. The real magic happens when you get lost in the narrow side alleys around it, like the Schlüsselgasse.

You're walking down this quiet little street, and suddenly you look up—the tower is just looming right over you. They say it's the largest church clock face in Europe, and you don't truly grasp that fact until you're standing right underneath it, craning your neck back. The scale from that low angle is just incredible and makes for a much more dramatic photo.

While other churches might be more famous overall, the experience of stumbling upon this massive, iconic clock tower from a tiny alley makes St. Peter's a truly memorable stop. Highly recommend taking a few extra minutes to explore its immediate surroundings.
