Was a very good experience. Overall, the hotel is good. The staff are kind, attentive, and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here.
I was very surprised how your staff works, even if it was christmas. All of them were so nice so profesional and amazing.I will recomend this hotel to everyone when they visit Zurich.
Clean rooms, good location, friendly staff, would gladly return.
Nice location. Staff very friendly at reception and in the Brasserie/Bar. Food was good as was the service. Room Clean and comfortable with everything that was needed. Would stay there again.
Minimalist rooms, very helpful staff. Brasserie with direct access from the hotel with excellent cuisine.
I visited Zurich in July 2025 for 2025 Women's Euro football tournament. Since hotels were a bit pricey, we chose to stay outside the city centre at Hotel Spirgarten. We were beyond satisfied with our 4 night stay. The hotel was right in front of a tram stop and a 10 minute walk from a train stop, so we had no issues getting into the heart of Zurich and in an around Switzerland in general. The hotel...

Very nice hotel in a quiet area near Kunsthaus. You can take the tram or walk downtown. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a great place to stay and a good base to explore Zurich.
The service is OK, the people are friendly, and the environment is clean. There is also a 4.8-point internet-famous breakfast restaurant nearby. Traveling is also very convenient, and the public transportation is well developed.
nice hotel with modern facilities and good location.
A typical European hotel, small, charming, simple, and convenient. The front desk staff were welcoming and even offered chocolates. Conveniently located, just a 5-minute walk from the Zurich Art Museum. Service: Good Environment: Excellent Cleanliness: Reassuring Facilities: New bedding
The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Zurich's central landmarks, which is a so-so location. There's an art museum nearby, which I heard is quite large. The staff at the front desk on the first day were very friendly and welcoming, but the staff member on the second day was older and less friendly. The hotel is quite small; the elevator can only accommodate two people with luggage at most. The rooms...
This hotel is recommended. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The hot water is very hot. There is free black tea, water and coffee on the first floor. The breakfast is also very good. The space is comfortable and the TV has YouTube, which is definitely a big benefit for foreign tourists like me who are not good at foreign languages 😂 It's a pity that there is no mains power supply next...

The location of the apartment is at a walking distance from the railway station with many restaurants and shops around. Basic amenities in the apartment , but this is OK for a short stay. Easy check in and check out process.
We needed an inexpensive spot for a spontaneous change of plans and found this apartment. It has a small kitchen which we didn’t utilize, and a small sun room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was adequately stocked with shampoo and towels. There is no A/C if that matters. FYI: The room key also unlocks the entrance door.
Unfortunately, we didn't particularly like the apartment 😔. Above all, we felt that it was not clean. There are coat and urine residues on the curtains, probably from pets. There are also puddles of urine on the floor that have not been completely removed. There is also only a limited selection of kitchen utensils. But the beds and towels were clean. Although the description says that there are parking...
Broken shutters - apartment smells extremely of smoke
The location was a bit remote. There was a lot of smoking in the house and it smelled bad. The kitchen was lacking in ingredients.
Very convenient, clean and well kept accommodation centrally located accommodation with efficient automated check-in. Kitchen well supplied with utensils etc, only let down was the toilet seat wasn't attached and the shower head wasn't attached to the wall.

The location is in the city center, right in a lively area, and very close to the tram line and station. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast wasn't crowded, giving it a homey feel. The front desk staff were also very friendly, greeting everyone as they came and went.
location, cleanliness and staffwere all excellent. Bathrooms are good. No aircon, but plenty of good fans provided.
Our room was in the main part of the hotel. It was spacious and quiet. It had a fan but no AC which was fine even with the heat. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was extra but we felt it was worth getting! Great location near the lake and for walking in the Old Town, near the train station. Would definitely stay again.
This Hotel is graded as a three star and it exceeded our expectations, and we would happily grade it "very good" if available. Good location and it was really close to the river which made a great spot to sit and people watch in the evening. Our room was well appointed, clean, bright and airey in a minimalist style which we liked and nice touches with small horses which is a theme for the hotel. All...
The hotel is well located. Stayed here twice for a few days. The rooms are extremely small, particularly if they put you in the annex. You have to pay $20 per night extra to be in the main building. Zurich is very expensive so be prepared. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are clean. They are decorated nicely but haven’t changed since we were here 2 years ago. The breakfast is expensive and Starbucks...
Good location. Close to a tram stop. Easy to get to and from the train station. Clean, cool, comfortable room. Roomy bathroom. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Walking distance to a lot of things. The only downside was that the breakfast wasn't very good.

Everything was top notch. Super friendly and helpful staff recommended 2 great restaurants and very helpful with getting the train to the airport. Also, I have to comment on the bathroom. Absolutely loved this hotel. It is in the most perfect and darling location! And a free delicious breakfast: both made to order and buffet. You can have both! It’s the cutest place ever! The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. Coffee, fruit and pastries in the lobby. Location was perfect, the breakfast was outstanding and the bedroom and hotel was so comfortable. I will be back .
The hotel staff is amazing at communication and helping you! We had a family emergency and they were able to help accommodate the reservation to ensure my kids could still go, even with a last minute change!
Amazing location, staff was wonderful. Free breakfast in lovely restaurant big plus.
The hotel is located in the center of the city, in a pedestrian area. Driving up is nearly impossible, and it's on a steep street. The room is small, with poor beds (warped mattresses) and a bathtub. On the second day, we upgraded to a new room. It turned out to be renovated, larger, with decent beds and a walk-in shower. The breakfasts are modest but adequate. Staff was friendly and did a great job explaining everything and the amenities were great.
Cute, small historic hotel tucked away in a great section of town. Cons: Room was small with poor lighting, few outlets, and the shower vacillated between hot (almost scalding) and cold).
Very clean and a great location! Unfortunately, you can hear everything when you're in the room... and in the morning I was snapped at by a somewhat older gentleman for no reason.
Staff was very kind and helpful. Loved the area, very walkable, lots to have access to
Just okay. Very nice and convenient location. First staff member was very friendly and gave recommendations, second was rather cold. Overall pricey for the room, yet much cheaper than most in the area.
Breakfast is decent, well attended. Very conviently located, room was small -barebones. 10-15 steps up with luggage to reach the reception. Owner has a tight grip on running this place, efficient.

happy with the hotel and staff v helpful and friendly. only one negative point, it is too cold in the room without heating and extra duvet at the time.
Excelent service, the staff is really nice and goes above and beyond to help you with anything that you need. The hotel has a great location and is very easy to move around. The rooftop and the 24h coffee and tea is a really nice touch. Would definitely stay here again a would recomend. Thank you!

We were lucky to get a table without a reservation for lunch on Saturday. The food was exquisite! Umami Roll - salmon, spicy surimi, avocado, sesame, crispy wasabi, tobiko…perhaps one of the best maki I’ve ever had! Also loved the seaweed salad and the Caribbean kiss hand roll.
A very enjoyable experience. The food was wonderful, the service was very good, and the restaurant had a lovely feel to it. The overall portion size needed two dishes, which did raise the price. Very much recommended
The server was very helpful and nice. She recommended a nice an-alcoholic cocktail and informed me how long my food would take. She asked me how everything was and she was very attentive. It made me feel really welcome and the food was also great. Thank you Barfüsser for the warm welcome and keep it up👍
Absolutely worth every penny! ...and the friendliest chef in town. Delicious food made with a smile 😃 PS: The photo was taken after we already had some 😉 We had the Samurai platter for CHF99.
My favorite spot for sushi and drinks in Zürich! Great vibes in the old town, perfect for a delicious lunch. I come here often—sometimes with friends, sometimes solo. The staffs are very friendly. Highly recommended!
The staff were exceptional in their assistance, genuine interest and clear customer focus. Central location was perfect. Equally it being situated in the older part of the city gave it much character - befitting of its boutique hotel status

Check in is really easy, you just follow the instructions. Room is quite big and clear. It’s worth for money.
The location was very convenient and it was clean, but the only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom had an unpleasant smell.
The Door doesn't close!! No light in the bathroom and no pillows! How can a rental apartment have beds with no pillows.
Value location but no plugs for bath or sinks and they said they could not get it for us within our three night stay. Smelled like smoke despite designated non-smoking room.
It’s not really looks like in photos when I reserved the room and it’s strange smell inside.
Easy check in and great room. Beds were very clean and comfy with extra duvets. An iron was included in the room which was great and the bathroom had a jacuzzi bath. Location is near tram stop and only about 10min from the centre. Also great view from the room.

The rooms are amazing which was converted the factory into the hotel, so the rooms are big and the space is large. It's unique and well designed hotel. I enjoyed
I had a very pleasant stay at the B2 hotel. Every staff member was very pleasant and welcoming, my room was very comfortable, clean and I had good quality sleep. The hotel has an interesting identity as a previous brewery and the restaurant and breakfast room (the library) is amazing. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. The spa is also extraordinary, in particular the roman spa.
We had a three night stay in Zurich before traveling on to Lake Como for a wedding. Chose the B-2 for the spa experience. That was wonderful but so was the entire stay. Nice restaurant, sitting areas and rooms plus the staff was top-notch. I had a basic room so it was small but very comfortable. And quiet! Nice location within walking distance of downtown. I would definitely return!!
The B2 Hotel is at a very convienent spot in Zurich-mixed in with residential homes and a Google campus- very close to the trolley that easily take you down to the lake- walkable to some restaurants and parks. Roof top pool and neigboring spa was a real treat that my wife and I both loved. Room is spacious- felt new and architecturally relavent. Mini- bar and coffee machine were well thought out...
Staying at the B2 Hotel in Zürich was honestly the coolest experience ever because it used to be an old beer brewery, and you can totally tell by the design. The best part of the whole place is definitely the Wine Library room. It has these massive 11 meter high ceilings and they have 33,000 actual books lining the walls. I read that they bought all these books from an old bookstore that was closing...
We went to the hotel lobby for breakfast. The atmosphere was really beautiful. There are around thirty thousand books there, which makes the place very unique and impressive. The food was quite ordinary. We ordered an omelette, but it was served without bread, so we had to ask them to bring some. At first the bread was cold, and we asked them to warm it up. After a few minutes they brought it back...

perfect location for tourists. very friendly & helpful staff. efficient checkin and out. very good breakfast. bed is on the hard/firm side, something like a thin memory foam.
I enjoyed a couple of nights here just before Christmas. The beds are very comfortable. My room was also equally comfortable, clean and quiet. Its location, central within the historic neighborhood, made walking through town the best way to experience the vibe of the city. I'll be spending more time there. I'm sure of that!
Room was decent, and staff was nice. Area is right in the heart of the old town. Walkable to historical attractions, churches, cathedrals, museums, shopping areas, restaurants, Christmas markets, etc.
what a truly strange hotel. It sits on top of what looks to ne an excellent steak house yet you enter through an ummarked door in the back alley. It's a small hotel with a good location. The rooms are small but manageable for two people. The housekeeping is decent, but the breakfast is terrible – you don't really care if you eat it or not. A comfortable stay, in a spacious apartment, near by the University. Kitchen setup is adequate to prepare basic meals; only a dual cooktop, no grill/ oven. surprisingly there were no coffee mugs and only one set of cutlery, despite being otherwise well appointed for a couple to stay.
Prime location and good services
A good solution when being busy all day in the city
The truth is that things didn't go well from the beginning because the code they gave me to enter the room didn't work. To fix it, I had to make an international call and spend money to fix it since I don't have a Swiss number. They ended up giving me a room that was not at all the one I saw shown in the ads. Broken windows and the window covers to block out the sun (photos and photos) were held in...
It was not a good room at all. The balcony was broken, and it was cold in the room from night till morning. The radiator and TV were not available, and there was no trash can in the bathroom. There was a constant sound of the bathtub drain being clogged, and the entry code was not sent. You had to ring for a long time to get an answer.
The room is clean and convenient to check in, but it is still a bit hot without air conditioning in this season

Had the best experience. Comfortable and Cozy
Paying HKD 18,000 for a 'deluxe' suite that didn't even include breakfast was already a shock. What's worse, the amenities were incredibly mediocre, barely reaching a three or four-star standard. I was thoroughly disappointed 🤦‍♀️. I have no idea how this place ended up at the top of Zurich's luxury hotel rankings – it's completely misleading.
Excellent, highly recommended.
My overall experience was just okay. The room felt a bit dated, and while the service was acceptable, I don't believe it deserves its top ranking on luxury lists. The interior decor was quite old-fashioned, but its location was certainly convenient.
The hotel's location is truly excellent. However, the service was a definite downside. I requested a toothbrush in the afternoon after checking in, but it wasn't delivered until 11 PM, just as I was getting ready for bed. What a midnight hassle!
The rooms were beautiful, and the hotel itself was lovely. Breakfast was delicious, and the place had a wonderful ambiance. It's a highly recommended hotel; while not cheap, it's absolutely worth the price. It's situated in the financial district, right next to China Construction Bank. Nearby, there's a supermarket, a tram stop, and plenty of Thai restaurants. My overall experience was excellent.

A hotel within walking distance of Zurich's city center. Very tastefully decorated, very friendly staff, and a great restaurant. Delicious and extensive breakfast. I had a truly magical experience here recently. I didn't know about this place until my Father brought me here. On our way to the entrace we walked past the kitchen, where what they were cooking looked amazing. This alone got me excited. A charming boutique kind of hotel. Hospitable. Stayed there 3 times in a compact but cosy room. I recall it offered a decent vegetarian breakfast. Close to a tram stop. Nice walk over the river to the Hauptbahnhof.I sort of used it as a benchmark for locating a good hotel in Vienna.
This review is for the restaurant. It is hard to describe, but it is is a special experience, with attention to detail in everything from the food to the service to the presentation. A very personalized experience in a small restaurant. It is not cheap, but definitely worth it.
Possibly the best restaurant in Zurich, the hotel is as romantic as it gets for a nice weekend getaway, just a stone throw away from Kunsthaus. Also, one of the nicest terraces in the city, making it one of the best options for good weather
