Everything's good, but the rooms look a bit on the economical side, though that's a matter of taste. The internet is a real problem; it's slow and barely available in most rooms.

Everything was fine until we realized our room had another door leading to another room. This meant zero privacy and you can literally hear what’s happening in the next room.

Zanzibar was amazing. the bungalow was ok best part was it been situated on the beach and the friendly staff made the stay worth it. the services of Samera at the front desk was top notch.

I personally think that the area is very peaceful and mindful. Slay! However, compared to the price of stay per night; I could have got better accommodation options in Asia. The bathroom was okay and the room facility was also not splendid for the price. On the other hand, it has a nice swimming pool close to the beach. In conclusion, the value for money is not satisfactory.

Dated property but clean and comfortable, great view and location

We stayed here in June 2025. The hotel is wonderful, the rooms are large and well-maintained. There are rooms in the garden next to the pool, and there are rooms with ocean views. The view from them is stunning. Breakfasts are ordinary, quite decent. From the restaurant there is a direct descent into the ocean. Beach towels are provided, changed if necessary.

The hotel is great, 2 little pools inside the garden, stuff are super nice. There is a beach club owned by the hotel. Beach chairs, food & drinks are all within a walkable distance. Gorgeous places maintains that Zanzibari traditional style. The food was incredible, I wish they had grilled king prawns on the day. The prawn curry I had was immaculate though. Transportation is problem as cars cannot reach hotel front due to very narrow lanes

I was always looking forward to the unique decoration of my bed after the days tour!

The people who worked there were very nice, helpful, and personable.

The hotel is well located in Stone Town. The room is a bit small. It is a converted old house and is not very soundproof. You need to check out at 10 am!

The hotel is in a very convenient location. It is a short walk to the Forodhani Gardens and the former Slave Market. There are several restaurants closeby especially a very popular one Lukmaan. The area around the hotel is bustling in the day and quiet at night. A taxi cannot drive up to this property so you will to do a short walk through the streets to get there. Very good value for money. Staff are especially accommodating and very nice. Rooms were clean with regular turn downs and aircon and mosquito net. Coffee and tea for the rooms and great location for walking Stone Town and the pool is lovely! Plus the prettiest hotel cat and a buffet breakfast. If/when we return, we will definitely stay again.

We had a problem with airconditioner . But was fixed super fast . We were so impressed. We will return as the hotel is so good in all areas
