Mjini Magharibi Region, Pongwe, Zanzibar 🧭 Map
This resort had a wonderful staff and BEAUTIFUL VIEWS from our beach front elevated villa. Unbelievable place! My girlfriend and I care a lot about the food we eat at resorts we visit. Tulia was at a 4/10 when it came to the food.
From the moment you arrive to the final drive to the airport this place is true paradise! Service above and beyond, the property has 16 rooms in stunning bungalows. The maintenance and amenities are top notch. Walking distance from the Pongwe Beach. Staff are incredible and will do anything to make you happy. The hotel has their own little farm which provides the freshest ingredients for all the food...
We travel a lot and we must say that Tulia was by far one of the best choices where we have stayed. The staff, food, garden, services, spa, entertainment and the overall impression was absolutely perfect. The all inclusive meant truly everything from seafood to champagne. Also we got airport transfers and massages as complimentary package so it was great deal. ALL in all this was the best holiday...
Where to start? The Tulia is located on a beautiful private beach. The food and drink selection are amazing. Rooms are large and situated amongst the most beautiful greenery. The staff are warm and genuine, and seem to enjoy working there. The food is excellent. Our kids loved the water slides and the beach activities. It comes at a hefty price, but this level of hotel in other markets (Thailand or...
We travel a lot, and great service is rare — but Tulia gets it right. Lucas in the restaurant remembered our preferences after the first day, and it never felt forced or scripted. The team works seamlessly, and you can feel the pride they take in their work.
We chose this place because we were tired — not just physically, but mentally. And somehow, Tulia understood that without us ever saying it. There was no pressure to do anything. We ate when we were hungry, swam when we felt like it, and spent a surprising amount of time simply sitting and doing nothing. The food was consistently excellent, the surroundings beautiful, but more than that, the whole...

Everything was great. Great food (including lots of seafood every day, great cocktails), engaging live performances by artists every evening. Also, the beach is maintained every morning, cleaned of algae. Also super good service. Starting with cleaning the rooms, ending with the helpfulness of the staff both in the restaurant and in all bars. First of all, I want to thank Mariam very much for her...
The amazing place! Food , cleaning , personal are splendid ! They find my wallet in the room after departure and ship it to me in Europe ! We had a wonderful holiday with kids ! I would recommend always to friend ! Anyone from the staff are so kind and always on your disposal !
We recently stayed at TOA Hotel & Spa in Zanzibar and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautifully clean and modern, with a calm, relaxing atmosphere that was exactly what we were looking for. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay, which made the whole experience feel even more special. We would especially like...
Toa hotel is very beautiful But the service here is so amazing Allways smiles . The food is so good And you have to check the amazing spa
Our stay at Toa Hotel & Spa was truly unforgettable — one of those rare places where you don’t just feel like a guest, you feel genuinely cared for from the first moment you arrive. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located, with a calm atmosphere that immediately lets you relax. Our rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared every day, and the beach and pool...

View over Indian Ocean was magnificent, but no beach was disappointing.
The value and experience per price paid is unmatched. Our room as facing the ocean. We were sleeping with the sound of waves and it was fantastic. In one of the evenings the electricity was cutting off - the restaurant had us placed on the artificial beach, with live music, eating under the stars. I think that the hotel can do better buy giving written offers for the spa to the groups. I really...
I went with my family of 12 people to Azao Resort, the hotel was abserloutly beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The hotel had a lot of entertainment stuff, and the pools are huge. The staff was abserloutly amazing - so friendly , so helpful and very polite. The food (from breakfast, lunch & dinner) was so tasty, and food was plentiful. They even had a barbeque evening over looking the beach...
Location is at the more quiet part of Zanzibar. We didn't stay here, we just came for dinner. Good was good, service was ok, ambience was ok. We enjoyed our dinner. Few veg options but they were really good.
Paid with a card at reception, subject to the extra 3% I assume to cover their bank charges. The menu is in dollars
Honestly the most amazing and beautiful resort. Everything was perfect. The room.. Staff.. Food and resort were beyond our expectations. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient.
I would very highly recommend this resort to anyone. Peaceful and views to die for. Definitely go again
They made my birthday incredible with a home made cake.. So much extra care
Azao is a lovely resort and great place to relax. The rooms were lovely, spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms were also quite spacious but the cleanliness needs some attention (nothing major)
This resort does not have any swimming beach access, the beach that you can access is hard clay like sand with a very low tide some days and not suitable for average beach use

We had been on safari and wanted a quiet place to relax for a few days before heading home. We chose White Paradise and are so glad we did. The resort itself is lovely. The grounds are lush with well planted trees and shrubs . There are two pools. The main pool area is quite large and beautifully landscaped. There is even a swim up bar. They could use a few more loungers. The second smaller pool...
I am delighted with my stay at this luxurious resort. I was upgraded from a standard room to a luxurious bungalow with a king-size bed. The breakfast was exceptional and delicious. I thank all the outstanding staff at the resort, especially Frank, the receptionist, and I hope to visit again in the future. Thank you all.
A good place to,good customer service and friendly
A beautiful hotel, the room was incredible, the pool was very nice, the only drawback is that it doesn't have a beach, because the water inside the hotel isn't pretty. They take you to and from the beach, but it's still worth it, staying there for two or three days and going on excursions.
Nice hotel but the beach is terrible. People are hospitable
Very good hotel, full of privacy and comfort. The hotel has a super good swimming pool and a large space. You can swim and dine in the hotel. Or enjoy the sea view. There are different programs every night, singing and dancing, etc.

This resort in Zanzibar is perfect for honeymooners and relaxing by the pool. It is centrally located for excursions. It has an excellent resturant accessed by a long boardwalk over the changing tides. The staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs
The hotel is very nice but is starting to look a little tired in places. The swimming pool and beach are lovely and it's a very relaxing place to be. The food I'm afraid is not good. My friend and I arrived mid morning and we had left Arusha very early in the morning so we needed coffee and something to eat. We were given a cup of instant coffee, dried bread and a couple of stale croissants....not...
This hotel is for some reason listed as 3*, but it punches way above that and the experience we had was much nearer to 5*. Everything was perfect here. The staff were so attentive, friendly, helpful and charming. The room was large, comfy bed, good bathroom. The cooking was of a very high standard, plentiful and interesting and appealing to all tastes. The cocktails were delicious and very good value...
We have just had a fabulous week at Pongwe Bay Resort. This is more like a wellness retreat than a hotel. The layout is fantastic. Our chalet/villa was situated on the beach within 50m of the magnificent restaurant and pool. The beach area is idyllic with ample palm tree seated shelters. A 300-meter wooden pier leads to 'The Club' a further restaurant/bar within the Indian Ocean. OUR VILLA We were...
We stayed here during our visit to Zanzibar. A beautiful place, great location, a walk to clean, well maintained beach. 5 mins walk to Kongowea Pier restaurant. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, which we took on our 1yr anniversary. We were welcomed so well there by the team. They helped arrange EVERYTHING for us. Our arrival was splendid. Everything was great. The facillities was 10/10. The Nature was beautiful. But the best thing was the staff, they was all amazing and helpful. They were always happy and spoke great english. Especially the waitress called Jasmine was amazing. Would recommend everyone to visit.
A peaceful, friendly place to stay for total relaxation. Beautiful beach, lovely staff, good food, and fab infinity pool. Rooms spacious and comfortable. I had a lovely massage in the "spa"- actually a little hut. Not a place to stay if you want lots of organised activities, but if you want a blissful place to unwind completely, then it is perfect!
We had the most wonderful stay at Pongwe Beach Hotel! My husband and I spent 7 nights in this peaceful paradise, and it truly exceeded our expectations. We were also celebrating our friend’s birthday, and the hotel made it incredibly...
The hotel is fantastic! Clean and very comfortable rooms. Atmosphere there is simply amazing! Staff were warm and friendly and service excellent. The food was delicious and varied. Location is perfect also with beautiful beach
I first visited Pongwe beach hotel 14 years ago after climbing Killi and said I need to go back one day. Well it definitely has not gone downhill it is still amazing. A lovely relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Very well managed and looked after by friendly and welcoming staff.
My experience at Santa Maria was beautiful! The people here are very welcoming, the bungalows are very close to the beach, it s such a nice and quiet place. We stayed here at the end of april and we had the beach for ourselves! If you love nature and being in contact with it this is the place for you! If you have a problem with the windows not having glass, and hearing the rain or the bushbabys, then...
By far the best place I've stayed in, and I'm saying this as a person who travels a lot throughout Asia, the Caribbean and other tropical destinations, typically staying in 5* resorts and all kind of sorts of boutique hotels. This place is different to any of them, but just truly awesome. Rooms are nice and cleaned daily, the staff is very helpful and attending. But the place itself... It's just a...
Best hotel on the island. We all have different tastes but for us when we go to Tanzania we want local Tanzania hotel with a taste of tradition. Santa Maria is the best at that.We have done most islands and we couldn’t find anything like Santa Maria . It feels like being alone on a private island, the cool breeze, the beautiful decoration. Santa Maria is simply the best and for us the fact that it...
Very nice and chill place. The view is amazing and they clean up the beach. The staff is really helpful and give you a warm welcome. We had problems with the local atm and they helped us out. The food was amazing and if you stay awake you can see some cute bushbabys in the night. Ask the staff about them and they teach you and show you a lot about them. 10 out of 10! Would like to stay forever
Location was perfect, on a desolate beach without the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was good, the fresh fruit and juice was a highlight.
Didn't know that we wouldn't only have screens on the windows (as opposed to glass) in the unit (especially with the stormy weather, it made for an interesting night) and curtains didn't cover the entire window. Power went out a couple times. We didn't have water...

Our stay at this beautiful hotel in Zanzibar was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The location is breathtaking, middle in the beautiful garden full of flowers and trees. I had an exceptional experience at Tikitam Palms. The location was perfect and the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable. The food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this Boutique Hotel.
Fabulous place, with wonderfully kind staff. The garden is a paradise on earth, with various animals. Unlike Kenya, there are no thieves here, the birds and monkeys are completely peaceful. The pool is clean and fresh. The accommodation has 18 people, as far as I know, so the biggest "crowd" is only at dinner. This is also spread over the 2.5 hour dinner time. During the day, we did not meet anyone...
A beautiful and peaceful place, very quiet and never crowded. The location is lush and green; we truly felt as though we were living in the jungle, yet with excellent service and exceptionally friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished in a traditional style. Food and beverages are also outstanding, and the coffee is absolutely fantastic.
Amazing resort, perfect for relaxing and the friendliest staff with the F&B team going above and beyond. We had a lovely private dinner on the beach on our last night which was a perfect end to an unbelievable stay. Highly recommended and will be back.
The extremely friendly and attentive staff, the wonderful Sultan Villa, the fresh and excellent food, the beautiful park, the pool area… simply everything!

A Truly Unforgettable Stay at Zanbluu
We stayed at Zanbluu Hotel for one week, and it was absolutely incredible! The food was outstanding, and our front-row bungalow with a private pool right on the beach was pure paradise. We had the most wonderful experience. We stayed for 22 nights. Food outstanding, place absolutely stunning. Looks even better than the pictures. Rooms on the front with plunge pool and swimming pool are breathtaking and the service is second to none. Couldn’t ask for anything better.

Beautiful resort, quiet and tranquil. All staff were so friendly and helpful any time of day! The apartments were so clean with added extras like soaps, shampoos, clean towels every day. Such a beautiful place to stay with amazing, hospitable staff. The rooms are spacious and clean with housekeeping visiting twice daily. Breakfast overlooking the beach is magical. The small pool is perfect as well for a light dip in the heat. Would highly recommend.
We had a truly wonderful time at Mvuvi. The property offers a beautifully designed, relaxing landscape. The half-board option gives you access to two nice restaurants with a good variety of food. Cocktails were excellent, and breakfast was delicious.

Excellent customer service from start to finish—friendly, attentive staff and quick problem resolution. Our original room had a stale smell, and washcloths were unavailable with toiletries not replenished unless requested. Positives: The hotel area is huge, boasts very good facilities, has 3 separate pools and a beautiful beach area thus avoiding overcrowded areas. Negatives: Considering that this is a 5 star hotel, the rooms smelt of mould, electricity circuits had issues with lights flickering and lights not working. Room finishing was very poor. Stayed one night at tha Arya Boutique Hotel. Beautiful oasis only steps from the beach. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate and Laura the owner was easily accessible and very professional. You cannot have more than this. Excellent position, quiet, large rooms well equipped, with lovely forniture, rooms are resetted twice a day. Cuisine is fantastic, menu change everyday with International and local dishes. It is a wonderful place where staying in Zanzibar.
There is barely any pool at the property. Slightly bigger pool at the neighboring hotel. Food is really overpriced
Rooms and grounds were very clean and well maintained. Staff were super friendly. Breakfast was superb.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel with a nearby 'sister' hotel. We took the half board plan (breakfast and dinner) and at lunch dined at some of the other near by resorts. The hosts were so lovely and they have two adorable daughters who were the sweetest ever.
It is right by the beach so it was great to walk out from the room directly to the sea.

Very serene place - highly recommend it to anyone going to zanzibar.
One of the few places with rooms directly on one of the best beaches in Zanzibar. Italians and families especially will love it but great for all. Minor irritations like flies after my food and a bit grumpy male manager and no air conditioning . But the female boss is fantastic and the service attentive. Excellent quality overall for the money

Very good resort to relax at. Good facilities pool, massage, water equipment etc. Beach is good, water is warm. Breakfast, lunch, dinner all good, ample buffet selections. Good range of cocktails, beers are nice, wine small selection. Rooms, gardens, layout all clean, functional and pleasant to walk in.
Had the most beautiful stay! Great hospitality and superb estate. So green and feel so authentic. Absolutely love their buffet of guest engagement gigs. Gracias Veraclub!
We had a 3 night stay, half board, family 2 adults and 2 kids, we absolutely loved it and highly recommend it.
It's a very nice place. Beautiful rooms and delicious food. The staff very polite.

i really liked the place people there and the staff are very familiar to us i dont have much to say about plumboreef the General Manager was very close to us since the day we arived the bar tenders saved us the drinks on time i really appreciate their service
In Zanzibar, it's not the hotels that are the most beautiful, but the place itself. Zanzibar is paradise on earth, offering a glimpse into a world you've never seen before. We went on a safari in Tanzania, saw turtles and monkeys, took all the boat trips to disappearing islands, the island of giant tortoises, went diving, and swam with dolphins – it's simply magnificent. And the ocean is the most beautiful...
Palumbo is exactly as advertised. Great family holiday Good views Excellent service! The beach was cleared of sea grass every day! The food was fresh and well presented Catered for every taste and preference Felt really safe during our stay!
The resort is as per advertised on the photos. Beautiful views. The sea grass is cleared everyday from the beach. The personal is friendly and so helpful
Was a good resort for families with kids. Would have liked coffee in the rooms. Food is fresh and presented well. Covers all tastes and preferences. As I am gluten intolerant there was plenty options to choose from.
Overall a great holiday
We went to Polumboreef for our honeymoon with our little baby girl. The staff were kind, caring and always wanted to know how our little girl felt (after some fever she had). The space as a whole is its own world. The island is found outside the walls. This said. The food was delicious, the chefs and staff (Fadhili) in particular went above and beyond to make the stay memorable. Thank you to Roger...
I liked the food and this review is specialy for the chefs Mawadua Khamis and Madawa. Very nice fish and beef and all food , it is a very nice , relaxing place to be. I will add a picture of them . All people working here are simling and ask you how are you , they are so nice and polite

It perfectly sits on the kiwengwa beach there is nothing better than that. The food the service the peaceful vibe of the whole resort is just addictive. I honestly didn’t felt like going back on my last day.
We loved absolutely everything about this resort. It was nice and quiet, there wasn’t many people, which was good because there was always free seats at the beach, and near the pool. The employees are extremely friendly. Every night, around 9, they came to spray our room against bugs, mostly mosquitoes, it helped a lot, our room was beautiful, and the pools were nice to cool off in
We arrived here on the 9th of march after our flights had been cancelled due to the war , we arrived at 10pm at night after sourcing emergancy accomodation and we were greeted by MIKE , he has been nothing but amazing thru out our stay , today the 16th of march again out flights were delayed and mike went out his way to accomodate our stay checking in on myself and my party , daily he found us made...
First visit to Zanzibar and the people here have made such an impact on our trip in a wonderful way. The hotel is very clean and presented so well with gorgeous floral and leaf decorations made by the staff. The staff are the friendliest and most conscientious, hardworking people I have met, with so much pride I their in their work and a genuine care to make your stay perfect, from concierge, reception...

Sultan Sands is a wonderfull resort, located on de beach. The resort is well maintained, luxurious and beautifully set up. The staff is warm, friendly and professional and did everything to make our stay (for the second time) unforgettable. We had and all inclusive arrangement and enjoyed the food which is healthy and delicious.
Everything was absolutely perfect from the very first moment. The staff was truly amazing – always friendly, professional, smiling, and ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our entire stay. The food was also perfect, fresh, delicious, and with a great variety every day. Everything was well prepared and beautifully presented. The atmosphere of...
Everything was fine. Hotel was clean and nice. People who work there were hard working, smiling every time. We need to visit Tanzania again
We stayed at Sultan Sands Zanzibar for our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and we received several complimentary surprises because it was our honeymoon. During our photo session, we were also given a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which was a very thoughtful gesture.
Special thanks to Fatima, who helped us with everything — transportation, organization...
We stayed at this hotel three weeks ago, and I can say that it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. I usually never return to hotels I’ve already stayed at, but this is definitely a place I would come back to!
It was a very calm and relaxing holiday with amazing views. The staff were always smiling, friendly, and never intrusive. The rooms might be a little outdated, but it didn’t affect our...
Literally one of the most beautiful small hotels on the island. The staff is fantastic, food is delicious. I came alone and was literally treated like a princess, all the staff knew my name after 1 day. The beach is mesmerising and a very quiet place to relax in overall
Will be back!

Welcome to Paradise - Great Price Value
We have known this property since the early beginnings. First time was in 2015. We saw several managers come and go.
This month, the hotel was reopened by a lovely British/Tanzanian couple and they are here to stay.
It has only 12 rooms and you have a great view. Garden is beautiful and chickens are running around. This is a place where you can really relax...
It was butiq hotel experience than no high expectations, ower and wife still around. I stay this place back 2014 and last year but just had time to write about it. If you don’t get there everything easy and helpful. We had issues with internal small airline I end up getting 2 more time of island ticket. Anyway just do it one time of deal and don’t forget do red monkey tour.
Very nice hotel! The owner especially. They helped us with everything, organizing tours, giving tips, getting the transfers. Highly recommended. The staff is very friendly. Super close to the beach, they even have their own beach bar!
One of the best boutique hotels on the Island.
With it's calm atmosphere and kind staff it's an absolutely must to visit in Zanzibar.
The food was amazing.
Everything about this place was perfect for us.
The perfect place for an authentic Zanzibar experience!
We stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks and were more than happy with our experience!
The food is delicious, the rooms are very spacious and the staff are super friendly. This small, typical hotel is located in an authentic village, with a private beach just a 1-minute walk away. This may seem surprising at first glance, but in reality the place...

**A Hidden Gem in Zanzibar!**
My stay at Zan View Hotel was nothing short of magical. Nestled on a hilltop above the charming fishermen's village of Kairo, this hotel offers breathtaking views and a true Zanzibari experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the pristine white sands of Kiwengwa Beach.

Everything about this resort was great, accommodation was very good, big room, with a great shower / bathroom. The food was good, enjoyed the different culture food every night. We met great people, still friends after the trip, we did most of the excursions together. Will be back if we can!
The hotel is beautiful. I had a rest. People are so kind and helpful, always smiling and spreading positive energy. I LOVED the food. Everyday we had something delicious. Soups were my favourite! A Lot of salads and yummy drinks. I want to come back soon again!
Great spot for a restful getaway. All staff very friendly and helpful. This resort seems to be popular with big groups. So you may need to wait a little to get checked in (or get help in general) but don't worry, you will be attended to very soon. Rooms clean and comfy - basic, but what more do you need? It's a beach resort with great weather, so I was only in the room to sleep and shower anyway...
The resort was amazing, perfectly situated on the beach. Drinks were good and lot of variety available. The food was also good despite being a buffet option for the all inclusive package. The only negative was the rooms are not as fancy or as well maintained but it was good enough, comfortable and cleaned daily. Would definitely recommend for a family stay. The evening entertainment was really fun...
the final bill was higher than what we used, so... The check-out time is until 10, although when we ordered in the online system it was written that until 11 o'clock. Staying in the room until 11 was not allowed. The food is delicious, but I saw the waiter putting the food that fell out back into the dish. Some of the staff are very polite, but certainly not all. The location is great, the beach too...

A very warm welcome. The staff were always friendly and helpful.
During power outages, the generators were always quickly brought in to provide backup. The location is ideal for a quiet, romantic getaway, with shops nearby. For an alternative to the hotel restaurant, Balungi, less than a 10-minute walk away, is also good, as is Romagna Mia.
Uroa is truly a pleasant area for disconnecting, and the Sunny...
Loved Everything About It! Amazing stay! The room was clean and cozy, the staff were super friendly, and the location was perfect. I’ll definitely come back
Heavenly 😇
Amazing place, excellent for relax, training, good food and romance. 💕
Great pool.
We loved having a 3 bedroom suite with a living area and private baths for all. So nice to be all together yet in our own space, The food was good and the service was too! Unfortunately the property isn't licensed. That's the only hesitation I would have on returning.
The staff received us very warmly and the three bedroom villa we shared was comfortable, the beds were soft enough and pillows very fluffy. Ali was very helpful and on call to ensure we enjoyed our two nights stay. The resort does not serve alcohol but he was able to organize for us what we wanted from outside moreover late in the night. The pool is clean and quiet. Generally a very good place to chill...
Stayed at the place for 5 days.everything was excellent. food was good . villas were clean and spacious and the private pool option bomb. check-in/check-out was super efficient. the beach just wowed us very clean and Christal clear waters. the place is a dry place so plan accordingly. wi-fi is fast and stable throughout the place. excellent place for family or couples get away. Very quite, friendly staffs and good location for peace of mind.
A lot of pluses and one huge minus. First of all, the beach is divine - clean, very vast at low tide, practically empty. I stayed in a bungalow on the beach and I just loved waking up to the view. The bungalow itself is fine, bed comfortable, just the bathroom could be cleaner and refurbished a bit (very low water pressure, very dim light, fungus in the shower). Food at the restaurant was excellent...
Didn’t know what to expect after reading some of the reviews, but we had an amazing stay here! Would love to come back. It’s not a five star resort, but you’re not paying for that either. Charming villa right on the Indian Ocean, very good value for money. Our favorite place in Zanzibar, and yes we visited the more famous (and far more busy and expensive) Nungwi and Kendwa. Nice, clean bungalow with...
We’ve travelled to several different accommodations across Zanzibar and we have found the absolute best one by far. The bungalow we stayed had a fan, air-conditioning, pool, bar, restaurant and was a stones throw away from the ocean and separated from us by a clean, sparkling white beach. The staff were all super friendly and the management very accommodating to our every need and request. The pizzas...
Property was well maintained. We came in June during slow season it was very quiet and relaxing. We had the 3b ** villa.Management is awesome and helped with any issues we had for example hot water. There was a switch that we had to flip in order to turn the hot water on.Besides that we definitely would recommend staying at Mooshine. Torti the security guard is phenomenal.Regardless the time of day he...
Wonderful place. Amazing interior design in the entrance that creates a lovely spirit.
We had a very nice stay. Swimable beach, nice breakfast and friendly staff.
The only drawback was that the water cut for a short time every once in a while.

An incredibly large hotel—at least 45 minutes from one side to the other, so it's convenient to use the golf carts. A wide variety of restaurants, several beaches, and pools. Very cozy, secluded pavilions, completely immersed in the jungle. The sand on the shoreline is stunning. The coastline itself is endless—over 10 km.
I believe that having booked in the premium level area, the car services should be more efficient.
Initially we had some issues with our villa and with the condition of its balcony, which was due for refurbishment as the neighbouring villa was being worked on - so it wasn’t a great start, however the staff were attentive and sorted us out by relocating us a brand new private villa which in one word was WOW!
Everything else was excellent and would most certainly recommend.
Wonderful place , felt like heaven , we had a perfect experience, felt in love with the place and the team of the hotel were welcoming and helpful .
This is my second time staying at Meliá, and it won’t be my last. It’s not only because the hotel and grounds are beautiful. It’s the staff, they are exceptional, they’re the most friendly, smiley, professional and provide amazing service. Every room is cleaned twice a day and I’ve left valuables lying around and everything has always been safe.
My only complaint this time was that there was no working...
1. The ambiance is fantastic! 2. The main restaurant's chef seems Indian, and we had a rather terrible dinner. Luckily, we switched to BBQ the next day, which was a bit better. Bookings at the other restaurants aren't easy. You have to book a full day in advance to be sure. 3. The beach party on our check-in night lasted until midnight and was incredibly loud. I made several complaints starting at...
