This resort had a wonderful staff and BEAUTIFUL VIEWS from our beach front elevated villa. Unbelievable place! My girlfriend and I care a lot about the food we eat at resorts we visit. Tulia was at a 4/10 when it came to the food.

I went with my family of 12 people to Azao Resort, the hotel was abserloutly beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The hotel had a lot of entertainment stuff, and the pools are huge. A good place to,good customer service and friendly

A beautiful hotel, the room was incredible, the pool was very nice, the only drawback is that it doesn't have a beach, because the water inside the hotel isn't pretty. They take you to and from the beach, but it's still worth it, staying there for two or three days and going on excursions.

We have just had a fabulous week at Pongwe Bay Resort. This is more like a wellness retreat than a hotel. The layout is fantastic. We have stayed here for 4 nights in February 2023 (Suite with a pool terrace). The room was nice and clean, the terrace in front of the pool was absolutely amazing. You cannot have more than this. Excellent position, quiet, large rooms well equipped, with lovely forniture, rooms are resetted twice a day. Cuisine is fantastic, menu change everyday with International and local dishes. It is a wonderful place where staying in Zanzibar.

Amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing lodge. We spent three lovely days at Simba Beach lodge. The hosts were so lovely and they have two adorable daughters who were the sweetest ever. It is right by the beach so it was great to walk out from the room directly to the sea. The place is clean and the breakfast was nice. One of the few places with rooms directly on one of the best beaches in Zanzibar. Italians and families especially will love it but great for all. Within few minutes walking on the beach Kiwengwa is plenty of restaurants, bars, kitesurfing spots and schools. I recommend Simba's restaurant as well...

Simba Beach is an amazing place, very clean and right by the beach. We loved hearing the waves all throughout the night and in the morning we'd wake up to a beautiful sunrise. The host, Chantal, is great and all the staff are amazing and kind people. Highly recommend!

Very good resort to relax at. Good facilities pool, massage, water equipment etc. Beach is good, water is warm. Breakfast, lunch,dinner all good, ample buffet selections. A lot of pluses and one huge minus. First of all, the beach is divine - clean, very vast at low tide, practically empty. I stayed in a bungalow on the beach and I just loved waking up to the view. Wonderful place. Amazing interior design in the entrance that creates a lovely spirit. We had a very nice stay. Swimable beach, nice breakfast and friendly staff. The only drawback was that the water cut for a short time every once in a while.

An incredibly large hotel—at least 45 minutes from one side to the other, so it's convenient to use the golf carts. A wide variety of restaurants, several beaches, and pools. Very cozy, secluded pavilions, completely immersed in the jungle. The sand on the shoreline is stunning. The coastline itself is endless—over 10 km.

I believe that having booked in the premium level area, the car services should be more efficient.

Initially we had some issues with our villa and with the condition of its balcony, which was due for refurbishment as the neighbouring villa was being worked on - so it wasn’t a great start, however the staff were attentive and sorted us out by relocating us a brand new private villa which in one word was WOW!
