Kae Beach Resort in Michamvi

I came to Zanzibar with one simple wish,to experience a beach bonfire under the stars. That search unexpectedly led me to Kae Beach Resort in Michamvi,and it became the greatest gift of my entire 2 weeks journey. The staff is not simply a team,they are a family. Their kindness is something you don't often find anymore, and it is impossible to leave without carrying a piece of them with you.I'll never forget the morning when the entire staff surprised me during breakfast with a birthday cake,singing "Happy Birthday". I was also gifted beautiful flowers and an unforgettable transparent kayak experience over the crystal clear water. That evening, we gathered around a bonfire on the beach, singing, dancing, laughing, and sharing moments that will stay with me forever. The hotel itself feels like a tropical paradise filled with lush gardens, colorful flowers, palm trees, golden birds, and a spectacular swimming pool surrounded by nature. My room was spacious, bright, and beautifully designed. The enormous windows almost feel as if they open your heart to the beauty outside. Beautiful sunsets, endless stretches of powder soft white sand invite you to take long walks during sunset, while horses wander along the shoreline. The ocean is calm and crystal clear, with no seaweed, no sea urchins and no rocks, just warm turquoise water. There are no crowds, only the gentle rhythm of island life. Every meal was full of flavor, and the fresh coconut water served in a beautifully decorated coconut with flowers was simply the best. Pole Pole! Life slows down,your mind becomes quiet, and your heart finally has time to breathe. Words will never be enough to express my gratitude to God for leading me to such an extraordinary place and to such incredible people. This was never just a hotel stay,it became a home. I’ve been to this restaurant several times before in several visits yo Zanzibar but the coffee/paint bar is new since last year. It’s so beautifully decorated and the perfect place to sit and watch the sunset. The staff are amazing and so very sweet….I accidentally broke a wine glass….so sorry!! I had a pistachio ice coffee and it was delicious! There are so many coffee/tea drinks it’s really hard to choose. Later we were able to order from their restaurant next door and I ordered my go to at this restaurant…. Grilled octopus. It’s probably the best in the area. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to kikoi but every single time it’s amazing and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I’ll go back a few more times to try more of the coffee drinks before I leave.

Zanzibar has been on my wish list for a very long time. This year, I finally decided to visit. It took a bit of research to find a place which wasn't owned by a major international corporation. The entire staff was so accommodating and pleasant. I didn't really need the mosquito netting but having it around the bed did add an extra layer of comfort. Hehe. Also, special thanks to Tiva for having water brought to my room every day. This resort is on the beach side of the island and I have to say it's the perfect location. The sunsets here are like a dreamscape come to life. The sand was like walking on velvet. The views are simply amazing. The front desk service was great. Anytime I needed to get a ride somewhere, it was an easy task to accomplish.

The resort was clean, the beach was perfect, and the staff were kind and helpful. I felt safe at the hotel, even though it is located in a rather unusual and very isolated area. The tide was minimal, so swimming in the sea was pleasant and enjoyable. The hotel is not very well located for excursions, but overall I liked my stay. There were moments when alcohol ran out and the food selection was somewhat limited, but it was manageable and did not significantly affect the experience.

So it was a great stay for me in the hotel. I really loved the beach nearby. The staff is truly helpful, I had a lot of pleasant conversations with the people working here. I also enjoyed the entertainment activities offered by the hotel, mostly workouts and parties.

The Sansi Kae Beach resort hotel is located in the eastern part of the island in a beautiful, well-kept garden. It is a smaller resort with incredibly nice people and a relaxed atmosphere. Under the leadership of the great manager Mervin, everyone will try to fulfill your every wish. The hotel has two swimming pools, one near the reception and the other near the beach. The beach is public and you can hang out with the Maasai, who are nice and not intrusive. The Maasai are also in the hotel as security. The food is very tasty (great beef and octopus), a selection of fruits - mango, papaya, passion fruit, Jack fruit. Bartenders will mix delicious drinks according to your wishes. The rooms are cleaned daily, every evening they make your bed, draw the mosquito net and disinfect against mosquitoes. We really enjoyed our holiday and would be happy to recommend it. The east of Zanzibar Island is authentic and you will get to know the real life of the people here. But don't look for tourist tinsel here.

Very helpful and kind staff. The property has two state of art swimming pool and a wonderful garden with swaying palm trees, tasty food and best location for sunset. comfortable beds, high quality tea and coffee and complimentary bottled water in your hotel room

Hotel is nice. Clean. Food Was very good. Personel Was grear. We speed the Best holiday in this place. I am very happy. If you want go on holiday you mast go to this hotel. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
