Our stay at this resort was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all expectations. Even though the weather wasn’t the best during our visit, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. We treated ourselves to a fantastic massage at the spa, which was incredibly relaxing and professionally done. It was exactly what we needed to unwind and disconnect. On top of that, the entertainment team did an amazing job organizing a variety of tournaments and activities throughout the day, keeping the atmosphere lively and engaging despite the rain. What truly makes this resort special is its ability to combine comfort and relaxation with an authentic African atmosphere. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway while still wanting to immerse themselves in a setting that reflects genuine African authenticity. We would definitely come back!

We went with friends. Being the guests of the GM and Head Chef, it was indeed an experience to remember. The ambience of the place and the courtesy of the staff was exceptional- the food was not only ever so delicious but its presentation was superb- 10/10 from our side- hope to revisit and stay for longer

My partner and I stayed at Dongwe Club in September, and we absolutely loved everything about it! From the moment we arrived we were amazingly welcomed, everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming the staff are some of the friendliest people we’ve ever met. The location is simply amazing surrounded by beautiful palms, with plenty of breathtaking spots perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery. The food was another highlight: always fresh, delicious, and full of variety, with something new to enjoy every day. One night we had dinner at the pontile the food was a chef’s kiss 🤤 We were also really impressed with the team organizing tours and activities, they were exceptional! Always positive, helpful, and genuinely friendly, they made exploring Zanzibar even more special and fun. Overall, Dongwe Club exceeded all our expectations. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Zanzibar! 🌴✨

We had such a fun time at Dongwe Club. The rooms were so comfy and spacious, the food was great. It was so awesome to be so close to the ocean every day. The staff are so lovely and really made us feel at home. Would love to return 😊

Attended a friend’s wedding at Dongwe Club and it was an amazing experience! The staff are warm and friendly, the amenities and pool are beautiful, and the jetty sunsets are unforgettable. The all-white dinner by the pool with live band, dancing, and laughter made it extra special. Truly a perfect place for both relaxation and celebration – highly recommended! Micka Mavoa
