Located perfectly in the centre of Stone Town, really near Fredy Mercury’s house. The building has a cool vintage look and feel, and is well maintained. The rooms are spacious and some have a view. The lobby and corridors are full of art and green. The rooftop restaurant is perfect for breakfasts, the views there open up. We were warmly welcomed by the team and the owner Johnson, who made sure our breakfasts are ready for everyone, and helped out with anything we needed. Thank you again for a super nice stay.

Understandale the price for the standard. But the hotell and room was not what we expected. No elevator so good luck with the luggage. The bathroom was not clean! The electricity was gone and we were told that they did not know when it will be back. We decided to check out after an hour to another hotell. During check out the the receptists were not very nice and willing to help. Especially when we asked to help us with the luggage we had.
One of the guys in the reception was so mean he said to us "bye, you're not welcome here anyway"!

We did not stay at this hotel but 5 stars go entirely to the male staff member standing at the entrance to the hotel today !

We got a little lost during our Stone Town exploration and required some redirection and this staff member took time out of his day to provide us with directions and also reorientate our maps.

Staff were lovely and kind but the hotel sucks. I think we were the only people in the hotel. They didn't have bottled water in the rooms and when we asked for it they said they would bring it but didn't. Full set up to have coffee in your room but no kettle, water or actual coffee. Just packets of sugar and cups. The AC worked well but everything was dated. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but bailed after 1 night. Even at the rooftop restaurant we were the only ones there and they didn't have bottled water....also in the bar downstairs....no water. Kinda crazy. Its too hot in stonetown in October to not have a pool. I don't blame the staff, they don't have the tools to treat the guests properly.

Great staff! The location is perfect for exploring the city and the rooms are really big. The AC worked well and there's was a mosquito net. Highly recommended!

Decent clean hotel. Has wifi, free breakfast and air conditioning. Thr rooftop restaurant is quite nice with a beautiful view.

Really beautiful place in the center, walking distance from almost everything! I loved the breakfast that comes included in the price and the hospitality of the receptionist! The only thing is the wifi does not work in the 3rd floor and the hotwater does not work in the bathroom as weel.

Good location (closer to the center), very safe at night.
Friendly and very helpful staffs. There were always check that we did not need anything. It was very nice of them and it made me feel more comfortable.
Cleanliness is fine but room could be refresh as they looks a little bit outdated.
Food was very good, we spent a lot of time on the rooftop (breakfast, having snacks and drinks late afternoon) and we were never disappointed.
I will recommend this place for sure.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Stone Town! Very good location. Rooms were kept clean and comfortable, beds came with mosquito netting. The restaurant up top offered great food with good service and the accompanying view was breathtaking! Also let us keep our luggage there while after we checked out and were busy during the day doing activities. Thanks for the great stay!

A nice place in the heart of Stone town. Very lovely view from the rooftop restaurant and the food is delightful.
Not the best bathroom but you have electricity and hot water all day. The staff is lovely and always ready to help you. There is a everyday cleaning.
