Heaven Beach Eco resort & Art in Koh Phayam

We were initially booked into a different resort down the beach but upon arrival, they were renovating and said they can move us to another hotel which happened to be Heaven Beach Resort. Everything was done seamlessly and smoothly and we were treated to our beach front bungalow. The room is nice and spacious and the bathroom is beautiful! I was surprised we had hot water and great air conditioning although we did visit during low season and experienced windier conditions so it wasn’t needed as often as it would be during high season.

The location is great right on the beach and the staff are helpful and friendly! They catered to our requests and were very kind.

A brilliant stay and I’d love to return during the high season to experience the warmer, sunnier weather.

The location is great, this beach is calm and quiet… in its tide and its surrounding accommodations and guests. The staff are lovely and very clean.

We arrived at Heaven Beach resort after a long journey from Chaing mai to be met by smiling, Happy faces. The resort itself is situated on Buffalo beach, which is the quietest of the two beaches and somewhat more sheltered than long Beach. It is perfect for families and couples. We arrived in what would be considered high season, but you would not think so and you can find your quiet spot with hardly anyone on it. The beach itself is pure beautiful white sand that still retains some beach even at high tide at this location. (Not every resort does) 5 steps from our bungalow to the beach. Amazing!!! The bungalow we stayed in had a double bed with a new mattress and a single bed also. Some of the bungalows have two rooms, one with a double bed and one with a king-size bed and a single bed, also. Fridge, plenty of hanging room and storage. The bathroom is a good size with two sinks, great. The staff have been truly amazing, the food at this resort is excellent and, in my opinion, the best on this beach but still other resorts offering other menus. This resort has everything you need for a great stay. Good road into resort, great staff that speak excellent English and knowledgeable on everything that will make your stay on the island enjoyable and memorable. I had my 60th birthday at this resort, where my partner, with the help of Wan, the owner, and the staff, created a magical surprise that included a wonderful day out on the resort boat and a candle light dinner on the beach. Was blown away so much so that we have now confirmed our wedding to be held here one year form now.

We had a wonderful time here. The beach was very clean, the restaurant was great at the resort and there were several more along the beach. We rented motorbikes from the resort and visited other beaches, restaurants, and shops for fruits on the island.
We hesitated to book here because there was only WiFi at the restaurant, but it turned out to make it a lot easier to manage the kid's screen time, and they met more other kids. It ended up being a good thing, and the online homework still could be done.
The resort is very kid-friendly. It has toys for the sand, bean bags, and kids' books in different languages.

On our trip through southern Thailand, we found peace and quiet on Ko Phayam. Our bungalow was the last in the row. Luckily, it didn't have air conditioning. The bathroom was amazing—practically outdoors, with just a loose roof to keep the forest out 😋 We'd love to come back again!!!
