Koh Tao Tropicana Resort in Koh Tao Island

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in we arrived at the hotel thinking we had a deluxe room to find we had an old furnished room very close to the road which had no soundproofing on the windows. We have to be moved which they did and they put us in a standard room which we thought would be okay as it was near to the beach. We didn’t pay much attention as we went straight out into courthouse Centre when we return to the hotel and got into the bed in the room the fan in the roof started making loads of noises we couldn’t turn it off and there was nobody at the reception to help it was screeching loud then the fridge started making loads of noises because we was close to the beach. We could hear everywhere of the sea because the windows are all laced. Glass we could hear every noise outside we still try to go to sleep through it all unplugging the fridge the bed was very uncomfortable the taps and everything corroded very dirty. The roof was disgusting in the middle of the night. Something come up to our steps and went to the door which scared us we slept for about 10 minutes. I approached the management and asked for a refund. They refused because we have now moved to another hotel. We did try to change that night as it conditions were so bad I’m advising anybody not to book this hotel at all avoid it all cost.

I didn't like it. I wanted to clarify that the surroundings are beautiful. But I didn't like the rooms. The ones with air conditioning face a busy and noisy road. The other rooms don't have a refrigerator or hot water, just a fan. So, compared to other places at the same price, we probably won't be back. Be careful when choosing accommodations.
